1. “Dulce Et Decorum Est” and Mauberly were published within a year of each other, and cover similar themes. Remember that Wilfred Owen was a soldier, and Ezra Pound was a literary figure, so both poems come from different points of view. Which point of view did you find most compelling? What made it compelling? What unique features did each have to offer? How would you describe the overall mood or attitude of each of these poems?

2. Write about the historical context between one of the WWI and Turner poems, and how the context changes the tone or content, or style of the poem. It is good practice to tie in historical information to your writing, as no piece of writing is ever separated from the time period it is written in response to. Consider important elements of the wars – why they were fought, how they were thought of by the author’s country, how they changed those societies, how they are generally thought of now, etc…)

3. Choose one of the WWI or WWII poems, and compare it stylistically to one of the Turner poems. What are some of the main language/stylistic differences that you notice? How do these stylistic choice affect the way you read and understand the poem? Do they seem to affect the meaning or tone at all?

4. Compare the attitudes/tones of the poets from the World Wars, with Turner. Do you feel that these poets all have the same approach to war, or is it fundamentally different? How so? Does Turner seem to be a similar soldier or a different soldier to the ones we see represented in the earlier wars?

5. Choose a distinct image from a WWI poem, a WWII poem, and a Turner poem and compare them. What are the images trying to accomplish? How do these images move you differently? What do they represent? How are each of them effective?

6. Turner represents a variety of styles in his poetry, “Phantom Noise” in particular is different from any other poems represented. How did the style of the poem make you feel? What was the effect of the lack of punctuation? What was the effect of the mash-up of imagery throughout? Why do you think he chose such a startling and potentially alienating style of writing?

Portfolio 2
A Lesson Before Dying
Combine two of these four questions into an analytic essay 1800-2000 words long, standard formatting.
Please include a bibliography of works cited.
1) Narrative Strategy
In chapter 30, material is seemingly presented from points of view other than Grant’s (Sidney deRogers,
Tante Lou, Reverend Ambrose, Sheriff Guidry, Melvina Jack, Fee Jinkins). In several instances, as at the
beginning of Chapter 13, the narrative jumps ahead in time and Grant relates events or episodes in
flashback. Jefferson’s diary appears in chapter 29, although Paul Bonin gives it to Grant at the end of
chapter 31. Why does Gaines sometimes move away from Grant’s point of view? Why are some events
and episodes not presented directly, and in chronological order, as part of the ongoing narrative?
2) Questioning
In Chapter 4, Grant poses several questions to Vivian regarding his assignment from Miss Emma and
Tante Lou. In Chapter 26, Vivian confronts Grant with a series of questions. In Chapter 28, Jefferson asks
Grant a series of questions. What’s the importance of these questions in the novel? Are they ever
answered? Do they even have answers?
3) The Lesson
To what does the title refer? Why “a” lesson rather than “the” lesson or “lessons”? What’s the lesson, and
who learns it? To approach this question, take into consideration all the possible teacher/student
relationships in the book (Grant and his students, Grant and Jefferson, Grant and Matthew Antoine, Grant
and Reverend Ambrose, Grant and Paul Bonin). Who teaches whom?
4) Heroes
In Chapter 24, Grant explains to Jefferson a “myth” that continues to determine life in their community
and goes on to talk about what it means to be a hero. What is that “myth”? Are there references to it or
instances of its operation elsewhere in the novel? Is Grant a hero, according to the definition he gives
Jefferson (191-92)? Is Jefferson a hero? Do any of the other characters qualify as heroes according to
Grant’s definition?
Secondary Sources
It’s essential to address the questions above in an historical framework. The Breakout Group PowerPoint
presentations from earlier in the semester should provide enough secondary sources to effectively enrich
your analysis. Please use these sources to contextualize your own developing arguments about A Lesson
Before Dying. (You may also find other secondary sources on your own.) To be clear: you’ll need at least
three secondary sources for your essay.
Audience
Your audience for this essay is the known group of unknown individuals called high school students.
Don’t assume that these students have read the book, but assume that they’d be interested.
Outline
 A general intro that sets the stage for the essay to follow. It’s not sufficient to simply repeat
the questions you’ve chosen. Instead, you should explain the issues posed by the
combination of questions you’ve selected, suggest an approach to addressing them, and
outline a thesis or hypothesis.
 An introduction to the main part or parts of your argument. This section should include both
paraphrases and direct quotes. Use as much from both ALBD and your other sources as
necessary to make your summary clear. The key in this section is to establish a way of
reading and understanding the text itself.
 Presenting evidence through analysis. This is longest part of your essay. Use direct quotes,
paraphrases and summaries to develop your ideas. Since you’ll be working with two
different sets of questions, you’ll also need to synthesize your argument at this stage. How
do the issues raised by these two lines of inquiry intersect with and complicate each other?
 Draw conclusions from your analysis and generalize from the specific example of your
investigation outward toward a discussion of implications of the topic for understanding the
current situation in the US. For example, what might the example of ALDB teach us about
current issues of history, race, class, incarceration, education, religion, and personal
responsibility in the face of societal conflict?

response to this discussion post using scholarly references. This post discusses teen pregnancy, and is for a master’s class of health promotion college essay help

Initial Post In the United States, approximately 47% of pregnancies are unintended (Bickley et al., 2021, p. 1115). When the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services set the Healthy People 2030 goals, adolescent pregnancies for the age group of “15-19 was 43.4 pregnancies per 1,000 females” in 2013 (Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, 2020, Status: Baseline only section). As of 2019 that rate dropped down to “16.7 per 1,000” of which 25.3% were of Hispanic origin (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], 2021, para. About teen pregnancy). Though the numbers were decreasing, a national pandemic occurred with adolescents having more free time and less access to preventative healthcare. Unfortunately, CT is part of the statistics versus being the outlier. Reviewing CT’s case shows that CT is from a single parent home, with an absent father/unknown father, her mother works multiple low paying jobs to take care of CT and has had to live with other family due to financial strains. These characteristics are all social determinants of health that put CT at higher risk for an unplanned adolescence pregnancy. Pregnant adolescents come with many challenges for the provider. Adolescents tend to fear being judged, are concerned about their privacy and worry about the confidentiality of the information they share with the provider (Thompson, 2016, p. 2/11). CT has not been seen by a healthcare provider in 6 years. It will be essential to establish a rapport and mutual trust around the patient’s privacy. Psychosocial concerns for CT include a delay in her education and the possibility that she will not finish high school or seek a college education. This can lead to lower paying jobs, which can lead to lower overall satisfaction with the job, which can lead to higher turnover in employment. There is also a higher need of public assistance and a greater dependence. CT is also at higher risk for more children conceived out of marriage and more unintended pregnancies. She is also at greater risk of preeclampsia, eclampsia, anemia, longer labor, having a miscarriage and potential of maternal mortality (Hay et al., 2020, Tables 4-25). These concerns can put CT at a higher risk for smoking, substance use/abuse, and the potential of contracting STIs. She is also at greater risk to be a victim of domestic violence and mental health disorders (Thompson, 2016, p. 2/11). Prior to providing CT with the results of the pregnancy test, it would be important to discuss with CT what she hopes are the results (Hay et al., 2020). This will lead to the discussion of the available options CT has. From the history provided, CT shares two concerns. The first is her concern of how to tell her mother and her boyfriend, the father of the baby that she is pregnant. The second concern is CT states, “she will need to keep the baby as she sees no alternatives.” The concern of informing family needs to be discussed. As a provider we will need to ensure CT safety is assessed. There may be a need to involve social services if there are concerns. CT may need support in telling the boyfriend/father of the baby, as well as her mother. The second concern is more complicated. Providers need to provide clear accurate information and options to CT regardless of their individual beliefs around teenage parenting, adoption, and abortions. CT will need support if she is deciding to keep the baby and raise it. Adoption has its own challenges and concerns regarding the stigma of being a pregnant teen, and the letting go of the baby once delivered. Abortion has its own challenges on how CT feels, if the father agrees, and the laws of the state they live in. Due to time limitations and the importance of the health and wellbeing of CT and the fetus, CT should make a decision within a week. Avoiding the decision can led to health complications for CT and the fetus. Some resources that can be provided to CT include: the teen pregnancy hotline phone number, childwelfare.com, Planned Parenthood, and trusted family and friends. Pregnant adolescence needs to be assessed individually on their health and the baby’s health and wellbeing. During this initial visit the provider would need to assess CT’s: past medical history, social history, medication use and allergies, emotional status, nutritional status, ht., wt., BMI, baseline BP, heart and lung sounds, lab test such as CMP, CBC, UA and STD’s. It would also be a good idea to perform an ultrasound and verify gestational age and predict the estimated due date. References Bickley, L. B., Szilagyi, P. G.,

Although teen pregnancy has declined over the past several years, among countries who maintain recent statistics, the pregnancy rate among 15- to 19-year old teens was the highest in the United States (there are an estimated 57 pregnancies per 1,000 females) (Seth et al, 2015). Adolescent pregnancies are associated with several concerns medically and psychosocially. Teen mothers are identified as an at-risk population because of the many prevailing challenges they face. Extenuating life circumstances and increased prevalence of poor maternal and infant health outcomes are also associated with adolescent motherhood. “For instance, compared with adult mothers, adolescents have higher rates of smoking, substance use, low education, and income; emergency cesarean sections; very preterm birth; infants requiring intensive care … ; and postpartum depression”(Quosdorf, Peterson, Rashotte

Read this Joy Harjo poem here: How To

Harjo is our current United States Poet Laureate. Write your own list poem about resisting fear, or making art in the chaos. A list poem is a series of free associations. Do not worry about the final form of this writing, rather, let go and allow yourself to explore your own experiences.

What histories sustain you? Who are the people who support you? What are your own particular “good morning songs”?

There is NO right or wrong here. These writings will build into the next steps we take in the class.

How to Write a Poem in a Time of War
BY JOY HARJO
You can’t begin just anywhere. It’s a wreck.

Shrapnel and the eye

Of a house, a row of houses. There’s a rat scrambling

From light with fleshy trash in its mouth. A baby strapped to its mother’s back

Cut loose. Soldiers crawl the city,

The river, the town, the village,

The bedroom, our kitchen. They eat everything.
Or burn it.

They kill what they cannot take. They rape. What they cannot kill they take.

Rumors fall like rain.

Like bombs.

Like mother and father tears swallowed for restless peace.

Like sunset slanting toward a moonless midnight.

Like a train blown free of its destination. Like a seed fallen where

There is no chance of trees or anyplace for birds to live.

No, start here. Deer peer from the edge of the woods.

We used to see woodpeckers

The size of the sun, redbirds, and were greeted

By chickadees with their good morning songs.

We’d started to cook outside slippery with dew and laughter, ah those smoky sweet sunrises.

We tried to pretend war wasn’t going to happen.

Though they began building their houses all around us and demanding more.

They started teaching our children their god’s story,

A story in which we’d always be slaves.

No. Not here.

You can’t begin here.

This is memory shredded because it is impossible to hold by words, even poetry.

These memories were left here with the trees:

The torn pocket of your daughter’s hand-sewn dress,

The sash, the lace.

The baby’s delicately beaded moccasin still connected to the foot,

A young man’s note of promise to his beloved —

No! This is not the best place to begin.

Everyone was asleep, despite the distant bombs. Terror had become the familiar stranger.

Our beloved twin girls curled up in their nightgowns, next to their father and me.

If we begin here, none of us will make it to the end

Of the poem.

Someone has to make it out alive, sang a grandfather to his grandson,

His granddaughter, as he blew his most powerful song into the hearts of the children.

There it would be hidden from the soldiers,

Who would take them miles, rivers, mountains from the navel cord place

Of the origin story.

He knew one day, far day, the grandchildren would return, generations later

Over slick highways constructed over old trails

Through walls of laws meant to hamper or destroy, over the libraries of

The ancestors in the winds, born in stones.

His song brings us to his home place in these smoky hills.

Begin here.

Reflective Essay Task: Explain how the process of completing your research project has affected your understanding of an issue writing essay help: writing essay help

Reflective Essay

Task: Explain how the process of completing your research project has affected your understanding of an issue or event in society.

Length: At least 1200 words

Sources: No minimum number of sources. Cite any sources you use in APA format.

Due date and grading: This assignment is due by the end of Week 8. It is worth 10% of your course grade and will be graded with a rubric. To view the rubric, access the assignment from the Assignments area of the classroom.

Outcomes you should achieve by completing this assignment

Organize information clearly in an explanatory essay (Course outcomes 3 and 4)
Use an introduction paragraph with a thesis statement and a concluding paragraph to frame an essay (Course outcomes 3 and 4)
Demonstrate accurate grammar and mechanics in writing (Course outcome 5)
Topic

You began your research project by reading an article from the news about a current issue or event in society. Your goal in this essay is to explain to your professor how the research and writing you have done for your research project changed your understanding of that issue or event. You will explain what changes occurred in your understanding and how those changes occurred.

Here are some questions you can consider in developing ideas for your essay:

What changes occurred in your understanding?
Do you know more about the issue/event now than you did before? (Probably!)
Do you look at the issue/event from a different perspective following your research?
Have you reconsidered opinions or assumptions that you held at the beginning of the semester?
How did those changes occur?
Which sources from your research had the greatest effect on your understanding?
Did the process of writing about your topic affect the way you thought about it?
What role did interaction with your classmates and/or professor play in your understanding of your topic?
Organizing and supporting your essay

Your essay must include an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

The introduction should gain your reader’s attention, orient the reader to your topic, and state your thesis.

The body of the essay should include focused body paragraphs in support of your thesis statement. There are various ways you might choose to organize information in the body of your essay. Here are some suggestions you can consider:

You might focus each body paragraph on a step of the research process and how that step affected your understanding of the issue/event.
You might focus each body paragraph on your understanding at a particular time relative to the research process (before, during, after).
You might focus each body paragraph on a particular aspect of the issue/event and explain how your understanding of that aspect developed during your research.
The essay’s conclusion should answer the question “So what?” by placing the essay’s explanations into a larger context. To accomplish this, you can consider addressing one or more of these questions:

Will your current understanding of your event/issue affect your future actions or decisions? If so, how?
What lessons—about interpreting current events, about your field of study, about the research process—can be drawn from the experience of completing the research project?
Is research of the sort done in WRTG 112 a worthwhile activity? Why or why not?
Point of view

First person (I/me/my) is appropriate in this assignment, but second person (you/your) should be avoided.

Formatting your assignment

Incorporate these elements of APA style:

Use one-inch margins.
Double space.
Use an easy-to-read font between 10-point and 12-point.
Include a title page with the title of your paper, your name, and the name of your school.

Share how these elections are similar. Include the images with the post. Thomas Jefferson was a democratic-republican who defeated John Adams, a Federalist by a good margin, in the presidential election of the year 1800. The votes for the office of the president were not distinguished from those of the vice on the ballots by the electors. These election results brought a peaceful change in the U.S. It was a revolution since it also confirmed the electorate’s roles in choosing the president of America. Both President Obama and Jefferson studied law and were democratic leaders. Their inaugural ceremonies echoed each other, especially Obama’s second election victory. The two-valued public education, science, training, and enlightenment. They did not cut back them because they were believed to be unnecessary, expensive, or elitist. They warned the nation about global climate change declaring the potential threats. They called upon people to reserve wars in response to global tensions as the last melancholy. Encouraging them to engage in their best energies, diplomatic arts, and campaigning for peace amongst the citizens. Their passion for bringing voters after elections together, seeking harmony and reconciliation, was in their hearts. However, they differed in some of their priorities in that president Obama was more committed to the state of welfare than Jefferson was. He focused more on racial equality, justice, and women’s opportunity. On the other hand, Jefferson valued his time, and he never addressed the rights of people, whether women or African-Americans, except when he talked about American Indians who were displaced by the white frontier communities’ encroachment. Images of the two presidents. President Jefferson Picture1.png President Obama Picture2.png Do you think Alexander Hamilton was justified in writing letters attacking Aaron Burr and encouraging people to vote for Jefferson? Why or why not? Alexander Hamilton was a great public speaker who was known for his rhetorical abilities. During the revolutionary war, he participated in drafting the American constitution as he was the secretary of the treasury. In his powers, he founded the American financial system. In his letter, he was both rational and logical, creating an emotional argument that demeaned the character of John Adam and encouraged people to vote for Jefferson (Robertson, 2020). He further stated that Burr was a dangerous man and was not fit for the public office. These two men, Hamilton and Burr, were once great friends as they practiced law in New York together. Hamilton was fully justified to write letters attacking Aaron Burr because he knew him well as a furious man. He wanted people to vote for Jefferson since he was a great icon who loved democracy. He understood the people’s power hence creating a very strong government. How do individuals or groups try to influence voters today? Individuals and groups influence voters by providing them with information that alters their decisions. A group might back up a candidate, and due to the sympathetic views, they gain access to their office. They have grading systems to help them in evaluating candidates based on their performances and according to the support records related to the organization. These ratings from a certain group plus other groupings are used by the public to decide the contestant to support or oppose. The incumbents usually take advantage of experiences, name recognition, and functions like fundraisings to receive the support of interest groups or individuals. The clusters only want access to a contender who is more likely to win the election. An individual may also collect funds from a donor and give them to candidates who prop up their issues. The contestants use the same power to influence their voting decisions (Cunningham

1. Watch the video clip ” On the Air ” to help you identify the Barriers in Communication. 2.The college essay help online: college essay help online

1. Watch the video clip ” On the Air ” to help you identify the Barriers in Communication.
2.The video clip portrays an on-air conversation between two speakers on opposite sides of an issue. A host moderates the conversation. Listen for examples of loaded language or barriers in each speaker’s monologues. This activity can be difficult because it is a challenge to separate what we consider to be barriers or loaded language from our own reaction to the language. In other words, it’s easy to identify loaded language when we disagree with the point being made; it’s more challenging to do so when we agree with the speaker’s point. Try to evaluate the speakers objectively, irrespective of your own agreement with the speakers’ positions.
3.After watching the entire conversation, which speaker had more barriers in their communication? Also, which speaker was most persuasive?
there will be a list of some ways in which our language choices can create barriers in our communication with others. this is the list The following are some ways in which our language choices can create barriers in our communication with others:

o Intensional orientation is the tendency to view the world in the way it’s talked about or labeled. EXAMPLE: Your friend tells you that her mother is a control-freak. When you first meet her mother, you react to her as if she is indeed a control-freak, instead of getting to know her first. To combat intensional orientation, respond to things first; look for the labels second.

o Allness is the tendency to describe the world in extreme terms that imply one knows all or is saying all there is to say. EXAMPLE: “I will never pass Math.” To combat allness, remind yourself that you can never know all or say all about anything.

o Fact-inference confusion is the tendency to confuse factual and inferential statements and to respond to inferences as if they were facts. EXAMPLE: You see a couple leaving a fertility clinic. You assume they are trying to get pregnant. However, they actually work at the clinic and are not even in a relationship. To combat such confusions, distinguish facts from inferences and respond to inferences as inferences, not as facts.

o Indiscrimination is the tendency to group unique individuals or items because they’re covered by the same term or label. EXAMPLE: “He’s just like the rest of them: lazy, stupid, a real slob.: To combat indiscrimination, recognize uniqueness, and index each individual in a group (teacher1, teacher2).

o Polarization is the tendency to describe the world in terms of extremes or polar opposites. EXAMPLE: “Either you are for me or against me.” To combat polarization use middle terms and qualifiers.

o Static evaluation is the tendency to describe the world in static terms, denying constant change. EXAMPLE: In high school, you thought Teri was a snob. Ten years later, Teri finds you on Facebook and sends a friend request. You deny the request because you still see her as a snob. To combat static evaluation, recognize the inevitability of change; date statements and evaluations, realizing, for example, that Gerry Smith1991 is not Gerry Smith2001.

o Disconfirmation is communication that ignores another, that denies the other person’s definition of self. EXAMPLE: Not returning phone calls or emails; ignoring when someone is speaking; dismissing someone’s communication.

o Racism, sexism, heterosexism, ageism is language that discriminates against race, age, gender or sexual orientation.

You will launch the lab environment for Lab 2, Performing a Vulnerability Assessment. You will plan and document a system-wide vulnerability assessment, carry out the assessment, analyze the results from multiple sources, and prepare a report suitable for executive leadership and technical management, with sufficient technical details to drive remediation actions. Part 1 (Vulnerability Assessment Report) The management of your organization, Always Fresh, has determined that sufficient software application risk exists to warrant a formal assessment to map the current attack surface. Your group, the security assurance and compliance group, has been assigned the task of carrying out a vulnerability assessment that will result in actionable tasks to reduce application security risk. Your team will first produce a plan for the assessment project for approval. The plan will include proposed assessment steps, role and responsibility assignments, and goals for the project. Semester Essay Writing Assignment Failure is Not an Option – Kranz HIST 1302 – United States History II Students college essay help near me: college essay help near me

Semester Essay Writing Assignment Failure is Not an Option – Kranz HIST 1302 – United States History II
Students will read Failure is Not an Option by Gene Kranz and compose an essay in response to the
following writing prompt:
Following the disaster of Apollo 1, where astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee died in a fire during a training exercise, Gene Kranz spoke some powerful words to his team. The resulting speech became known as “The Kranz Dictum”.
”Spaceflight will never tolerate carelessness, incapacity, and neglect. Somewhere, somehow, we screwed up. It could have been in design, build, or test. Whatever it was, we should have caught it. We were too gung ho about the schedule and we locked out all of the problems we saw each day in our work. Every element of the program was in trouble and so were we. The
simulators were not working, Mission Control was behind in virtually every area, and the flight and test procedures changed daily. Nothing we did had any shelf life. Not one of us stood up and said, ‘Dammit, stop!’ I don’t know what Thompson’s committee will find as the cause, but I know what I find. We are the cause! We were not ready! We did not do our job. We were rolling the dice, hoping that things would come together by launch day, when in our hearts we knew it would take a miracle. We were pushing the schedule and betting that the Cape would slip before we did.
From this day forward, Flight Control will be known by two words: ‘Tough’ and ‘Competent.’ Tough means we are forever accountable for what we do or what we fail to do. We will never again compromise our responsibilities. Every time we walk into Mission Control we will know what we stand for. Competent means we will never take anything for granted. We will never be found short in our knowledge and in our skills. Mission Control will be perfect. When you leave this meeting today you will go to your office and the first thing you will do there is to write ‘Tough and Competent’ on your blackboards. It will never be erased. Each day when you enter the room these words will remind you of the price paid by Grissom, White, and Chaffee. These words are the price of admission to the ranks of Mission Control.”
Failure is Not an Option teaches us about problem-solving. In any crisis, true leadership rises up. Throughout history, individuals and examples of true leadership during difficult times are plentiful. Apply “The Kranz Dictum” to an event in history and how using the problem-solving skills detailed in the book could have altered the outcome of the event.
Essay Expectation:
Your essay should be at least 500 words, but no more than 750 words. The essay should be
double-spaced, font type Times New Roman, and font size 12pt. Students should include specific
examples from the book, as well as, reference at least two primary sources documents. The
submission should include a title page and works cited page using MLA formatting.

After reading the first several chapters of Charles Dickens’s Little Dorrit, please address the following questions:

Mr. Dorrit has already been a resident of the Marshalsea Prison for quite some time when we first meet his character in the novel. With that in mind, to what extent do you think Mr. Dorrit has been affected by his time in prison? Granted, we don’t have a baseline reference point, but discuss how much of Mr. Dorrit’s character has been formed by his longtime status as a prisoner in the Marshalsea, and to what extent has he perhaps been permanently changed by his time there?

Please write a critical response based on these questions. Your paper should be 3 pages long (meaning at least 3 full pages), double-spaced, with 1” margins using Times New Roman 12 point font, and it should conform to the Critical Response Papers Rubric. Comparative Analysis Essay will be double spaced, Arial size 12 font, and one-inch margins. You will include a cover best essay help

Comparative Analysis Essay will be double spaced, Arial size 12 font, and one-inch margins. You will include a cover page with your rank and name, the lesson number and title your academic year and cohort (e.g. DDE_ADL_AY20-21_PH2_001 from the top left of your Blackboard screen) and the date of submission. All essays will use Turabian citation style (IAW ST 22-2, Appx A). Footnotes or endnotes, with a bibliography when applicable, will be used. Do not use parenthetical citations. Footnotes/endnotes, bibliography and cover pages do NOT count towards the length of the paper.

Comparative Analysis Essay

1. SCOPE
– This assessment is the 4- to 6-page. The topic for this essay is listed in the F100 Appendix A Assessment Plan. This essay requires you to apply a capability gap from the course case study (the Army post Vietnam through Desert Storm) to the Force Management Model.

2. ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS

All students should review ST 22-2 for writing standards.

Review the ELOs associated with this course before beginning your essay. Your paper must demonstrate your understanding of each ELO, how the applicable processes work, and how they provide capabilities to commanders. You will demonstrate this understanding through a comparative analysis.

ELO-CC-8.1: Describe how strategic guidance leads to identifying requirements and solutions to provide capabilities.

ELO-CC-8.2: Develop solutions across DOTMLPF-P.

ELO-CC-8.3: Explain how the Army allocates resources to support solutions.

ELO-CC-8.4: Employ force integration to provide capability to combatant commanders.

F111 Comparative Analysis Essay
This essay (4-6 pages). The essay is a comparative analysis. You will compare the processes used to change the Army during the post-Vietnam timeframe to the processes used today. Use one of the Big 5 from your readings as the basis to conduct the comparison. JCIDS, DAS, PPBE, TAA, TAP, etc. did not exist during the post-Vietnam era. So how did the Army make decisions and how is that different than today? Why does it matter? This is not a history paper of what happened in the past, nor is it a paper that acts like the current processes were used in the past. It is a comparative analysis.
How did the Army decide what strategic changes needed to take place?
How was it different than what happens today?
What is your analysis of this difference/these differences?
The preceding is an example for looking at strategic guidance. Ensure you address each of the ELOs. You must address materiel and organizational change in your essay. Ensure you do not simply regurgitate today’s process; that is not a comparative analysis between two different things.
As will all essays, you must cite properly. Papers turned in without citations are academically unacceptable.

3. LESSON REQUIREMENTS

a. Essay Requirements

(1) First Requirement: Ensure you have a well-organized essay that addresses the requirements above as directed in the F100 Assessment Plan.
Using the specific directions for written assignments in the F100 Assessment Plan (Appendix A to the F100 Block Advance Sheet) write a 4- to 6-page essay by identifying a historical capability gap from the case study timeframe. This may be a capability gap identified in the reading or a different capability gap that was not addressed. Apply the Force Management model to this capability gap. Your capability gap must address organizational and materiel change.
Your essay must demonstrate how the FM model addresses the following items for the capability gap you chose:
-what created the capability gap? (Strategic and operational requirements)
-why are the chosen solution(s) the correct solutions? (JCIDS, DAS, AME, FD)
-how are the effects, or risks, of the solution managed, or mitigated, through the FM process? (FD, FI, DAS)
-how is prioritization determined and implemented? (PPBE, JCIDS, strategic requirement)
-how is the solution officially codified and integrated into the force? (FD, FI).
The purpose of this paper is for you to demonstrate your ability to apply the FM model. Answering the above questions requires you understand ELOs 8.1 – 8.4. To apply the FM model, you must understand the purpose behind the different processes. This starts with a comparative analysis of what occurred in the historical timeframe and the current process. Then, you must apply the concepts of today to what occurred in the past. What is the “so what” of the differences? How would things be different today? What would or would not have changed with what occurred in the past, or, what would today’s process do to preclude or create issues? The questions listed above are given to assist in formulating the organization of your essay.

Organizational Communication: Channels, Leadership Role in probed solving and methods. DUE TODAY @8pm ET college admissions essay help: college admissions essay help

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:

Organizational communication: Communication is essential for any organization to work toward a shared purpose and achieve success. Examples of an organization include a workplace, a community or religious organization, a volunteer organization, or a family. Some components of effective organizational communication include seeking and responding to feedback, establishing consistent channels of communication, conflict resolution, and crisis planning.

Here is this week’s assignment. Please include boldface questions in your response, to make it easier for readers to follow your organization. Short paragraphs with white space in between also are helpful.

Share either (a) an experience you had in which you took part in resolving an organizational problem or (b) a current problem you are facing in your organization.

What was the shared purpose of the group, and how could an understanding of this shared purpose help group members work toward a positive outcome?

Shared purpose may be larger than “solving the problem.” For example, teachers might meet to discuss how to raise students’ standardized test grades. Their shared purpose is educating students and helping them to achieve all they can on tests.

What channels of communication were present in the organization? Were they effective? Why or why not?

What role did leadership play in effective problem solving and organizational communication?

What methods did you use or could you now use to improve organizational communication to solve the problem?

Please respond to both individuals in 2 separate paragraphs by agreeing and adding facts with a minimum of 175 words. Example:

Paragraph 1-Response to Bibiana-I agree with Bibiana…
Paragraph 2- I agree with Hannah Shelton…

Here are their responses: Bibiana- The product I want to discuss is the pager/beeper. According to Arredondo (Communication gadgets: Then and Now, 2018), The first pager was invented in 1921. After only being used by the Chicago police department, Motorola branded the name pager in 1959. The tone pager was made in the 70s. This was very resourceful for businesses such as doctors because important messages could be relayed. The pager became very popular in the 90s and were used by more than the business world. I owned on in the late 90s and I thought that I had a perfect way to communicate. The pager was ideal for people to get instant information or be notified to call someone. After the companies such as Motorola maintained its brand name, the cell phone came and captured the consumers attention. Pagers didn’t go extinct, and I only gained this knowledge doing the research for this response. It is said by Spok (Why Pagers Still Matter, 2021) that the pager is still alive and well. However, being in its harvesting stage, the pagers have evolved in the manner of restaurants letting their guests know that seating is available.

Response from Hannah-Hello Class,

This week I chose to write about is the board game, Monopoly. Monopoly was introduced to the market in 1935 by the Parker Brothers. Since it’s launch, there have been over 300 different types of Monopoly games released. The product life cycle for Monopoly has lasted for many years because Hasbro continues to create versions that capture consumers’ attention. I personally love playing Monopoly and am definitely one of the consumers who pay attention to the new versions of Monopoly at my local stores. I believe I have at least 6 different versions of Monopoly because they have all grabbed my attention. One specific version I can think of that Monopoly has created to stay up with the times is the electronic banking version. By updating the way the banking is used, it mimics the banking that most kids see their parents using so they are more likely to ask their parents to buy the board game for them. If Hasbro continues to make new versions, I can see them selling Monopoly for another several years.

Here is the original question from the professor;
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:

Select a product you are familiar with. Based on your knowledge of the product life cycle, what types of changes will occur to your selected product as it continues through the product life cycle? How will this affect the marketing of your selected product?
