MAUS is a graphic novel, and the author uses both text and images to present the story, combining literature with art. Now that you have read the novel, you are ready to consider the role of the textual and visual elements of the story.
Begin by considering which aspects of the story stood out for you. Perhaps you noted the author’s use of animal metaphors, or maybe you felt the father/son relationship was most compelling part. Perhaps the artist in you led you to focus on how Spiegelman used simplistic drawing techniques that portrayed so much. Obviously, the Holocaust is the basis for the story, but maybe you found that the story presented the event in a unique way.
For this essay, choose one aspect of the story that you found most interesting and discuss it through the elements of text and art. Use your own ideas, evidence from the text (descriptions, summary, and correctly cited quotes*), and explanations of how the novel supports your claims. You must include a discussion of both the text and the images.
Ideas to consider (choose one):
You can choose one literary technique and discuss how Spiegelman uses it to develop his theme.
The role of specific artistic techniques to enhance the message.
The use of the graphic novel form to present important, terrible events, such as the Holocaust.
The use of animals as metaphors and the way this enhances the message of the novel.
The role of memory – both Vladek’s and Art’s.
The role of prejudice – in the story and with the story tellers.
The role of guilt or survival.
How does MAUS help us understand and contextualize history in a more meaningful way?
Other topic of your choice.
Length: 3 pages
Requirements: MLA format, a Works Cited page (incl. MAUS and support sources) and in-text citations.

With this service we project that through years 1-5 we will produce around $500,000 in revenue. The earlier years will be slower as we try and collect customers that need and are willing to pay for this service. This number was projected by looking at other fairly new and also established interior design companies in the NY and Connecticut area. We will grow the revenue each year through networking with past customers and reaching out to offer these new services to them as well as new customers. This will give us a wide range of people and ultimately generate more profits.

It has been used as a supplement for diseases such as the common cold, and is believed to boost the immune system, It comes in both oral and topical forms.
Echinacea is promoted as a dietary supplement for the common cold and other infections, based on the idea that it might stimulate the immune system to more effectively fight infection. Echinacea preparations have been promoted for topical use (application to the skin) for wounds and skin problems.
Q6. The studies about the use of Echinacea in children are inconclusive. The supplement is found in all major drug stores in a form for children. As the child is only 4 years old, taking this unregulated and invalidated medication would not be in my treatment plan.

– Introducing Coke to the New Grocery Store in town essay help online: essay help online
Lidl (Grocery Store) is about 40 years old and has a US headquarters in Arlington, VA., since 2017. They are currently considering 10 stores in the Tampa Bay region and have a new idea to have one of the majors set up a beverage center. Like Aldi they mostly carry store brand products. Their stores average about 10,000 square feet of floor space and look much like Aldi. So basically, the scenario is they invited you and a competitor (we: Coke, competitor: Pepsi) to bid on this project. They envision using about 20 feet of wall space in the store devoted to beverages and it would be a full wall 10 feet high, not an inside aisle. You will present the proposal. You know that given the complexity of this project they will not decide on the spot, but you want to be able to go back again and make changes based on how they come back to you. So don’t expect to get a sale, but to stay in the running for further consideration. Your presentation and the written proposal needs to be creative as you are essentially, not only selling the product, but the space it will be in. You will find out that both Coke and Pepsi are quite adaptive and in the process of change. Pepsi is quite a bit bigger as a company. Both are revamping product lines, for example you see little in the way of diet drinks at Coke, they are now mostly called low or no sugar, mostly the same product, different branding. Both companies have expansive product mixes and your stocking decision for Lidl needs to include deciding what products fit best. Instruction: Create a bulleted list of ideas that I could put in a presentation for proposal Information I’ve gathered from Lidl representative: They want to use to be creative, use of digital advertising, Lidl like organic and sustainable products.

She lives in Baltimore with her partner and is pregnant with their first child. She is employed as data scientist at Under Armour. She is seeking treatment for “anxiety.” Presenting concerns and mental health history: For as long as Sora can remember, she has been described as a “worrier” which she attributes to being a “perfectionist.” Her parents reported that as the eldest child of three, Sora always tried lead by example and was a “rule follower.” Sora is high in conscientiousness and works diligently to act in accordance with her values. Sora’s partner reported that Sora has always been “very concerned about doing the right thing.” They described that most of the time, this mindset is helpful—Sora is thoughtful in making decisions, apologetic when she is wrong, and empathetically tries to take other people’s perspectives. However, her partner reported that over the past 7 months—soon after she learned she was pregnant—Sora has been excessively concerned about doing the right thing. With nationwide stress of the upcoming US presidential election, Sora has been frequently worrying about having bad social interactions because she wants to be 100% certain that she says the “correct” things to other people. Her primary fear during these social interactions is that she will share an opinion that is immoral. She worries that if she does say or do something immoral, something bad will happen (likely to a loved one). To prevent this from happening, Sora reviews her morals before social interactions to ensure she has complete clarity about them, and after social interactions, she replays what she said to determine if she upheld her moral integrity. Her partner reported that recently, Sora has been texting them summaries of her conversations and checking with them to see if she said the right things. Physical health history: Unremarkable. Social history: Sora was born in New York City. She moved to Baltimore when she was 18 years old to attend Johns Hopkins University and stayed there after graduation to work at Under Armour. She describes herself as an “introvert” and generally prefers to keep to herself rather than socialize. She maintained a small group of close friends throughout college; most left Baltimore after graduation, but one friend lives nearby, and Sora sees her sporadically. Sora and her partner began dating during her sophomore year of college and married 3 years ago. Family mental health history: Father: none Mother: anxiety Paternal grandmother: anxiety; schizophrenia Paternal uncle: schizophrenia Clinician’s observations during initial intake assessment: Sora arrived 30 minutes early for her appointment. She was neatly dressed. She was oriented to time and place. She maintained appropriate eye contact. She appeared nervous, as evidenced by frequent fidgeting. At times, she appeared distracted and unfocused, which required questions to be repeated. She appeared honest and forthcoming in her answers, though frequently checked to see if she answered the question correctly and apologized if she did not.
