Thoough she is no longer a smoker, she thinks that past smoking combined with lots of health problems amongst family members will lead to a shorter lifespan than 90 years.
3. I am in good health: 5. No further comments.
4. I have the same or better ability to hear, see, taste, and touch sensitivity as I ever have: 6. Amanda assumes that this score will decline with age.
5. I have the same or better movement ability as I ever have: 7. Amanda attributes this score to increased physical activity in the last year.
6. I have the same or better reasoning ability as I ever have: 7. No further comments.
7. My memory is the same or better than it has ever been: 3. Amanda’s memory is declining. She expects to see a more drastic decline with age.
8. I have the same or better intelligence as I ever have: 6. No further comments.
9. I have the same or better language abilities as I ever have: 5. Amanda says that she has difficulty verbalizing thoughts, often forgetting which word she is looking for.
10. I have the same or better control of my emotions as I ever had: 7. Amanda says that better emotional control came with maturity.

12. I feel as good or better about myself as I ever have: 5. Amanda feels better about herself now than she did when she was younger.
13. I know who I am and what my purpose in life is: 4. Amanda has a strong sense of who she is, but does not know her purpose in life at all.
14. I am as tolerant or more tolerant of people who are different from me as I ever have been: 6. No further comments.
15. Religion is as important or more important to me now as it ever has been: 1. Religion is far less important to Amanda than it used to be when she was a child and young adult.
16. Marriage and having children are as important or more important to me now than it ever has been: 1. Amanda does not want children and is not interested in marriage. Though she does hope to spend her life with someone, she does not care about getting married.
17. Children are raised about the same or better than they were when I was a child: 2. Amanda feels that children and young people place too much emphasis on screen time, social media, fame, and materialism and not enough emphasis on education.
18. Education is as important or more important than it ever has been: 5. No further comments.
19. Work is as important or more important to me now as it ever has been: 3. Amanda’s score for this statement has gotten lower within the last few months because she recently realized that she is in a financial position to be able to retire early if she wants to. Work was very important to her until she realized that early retirement is possible, and now she is re-examining her priorities and how she spends her time.
Most of the responses to the interview questions were as I expected them to be. The most surprising things I learned from Amanda were in regard to the lifespan and health questions. Though she has taken actions to be healthier in the past year, she still does not believe that her healthier habits now will be enough to undo previous damage done in her teens, 20s, and 30s through smoking, an unhealthy diet, and largely sedentary lifestyle.
My biggest takeaway from interviewing Amanda is that priorities shift with age. She was completely consumed by her career for years because she thought that was the only option for her life. Now that she has an opportunity to retire early, her whole outlook on life has shifted, and she is now looking forward to having a more joyful life that is ruled more by pleasurable activities than work.

My interview was with “E”, he is a 65-year-old male, he is recently retired after a lifetime of entrepreneurship, and a career in the oil industry.  He has been married to his lovely wife for 43 years.  He is a life-long resident of Odessa, and we have been friends for nearly 10 years.   My husband and E worked together for several years, and through this connection we began going to church together.   E and his wife are great friends who have taken me under their wing over the last decade.
We had a major scare with E several years ago, when he suddenly had to have quadruple bypass surgery.   I knew this impacted his day-to-day life but was curious how it would play out in these questions.  I was not surprised when this major moment in his life was brought up several times during the interview and played a part in how he answered most of the questions.  I was somewhat surprised at how high he rated everything on average.  E and I have learned together over the years how precious life is, as he and his wife are a huge part of my support system while and since losing my husband.  Having walked that loss together while also walking through E’s recovery made this interview pretty special.  He and I unexpectedly shared a few tears during this interview as he got choked up talking about learning what really matters and how short and precious and unpredictable life can be.  Overall, this served as a great reminder for me not to get bogged down in the little things, and to remember that is not always what you do, but who you do it with and who you do it for that really matters.

Research Questions Research questions allow researchers to address the problem and fulfill the purpose of any study. Research questions essay help online: essay help online

Research Questions
Research questions allow researchers to address the problem and fulfill the purpose of any study. Research questions must be aligned with the problem(Week 2… attached) and purpose (Week 3… attached) of the study both in content and in wording. One way to begin identifying the best research questions for a study is to try posing the topic as a question. For example, if you are interested in determining what influences a team’s productivity because many teams are unproductive, you may have a hypothesis about the connection of productivity to leadership abilities. Your question might be: How does a leader’s personality affect a team’s productivity?Once you have identified a research topic question, you should formulate two or more sub-questions serving as the research questions for your study. For instance, consider the question, “How does a leader’s management style affect employee motivation? Or, “how does a leader’s positivity influence team productivity?”Ask yourself, “How can I measure or answer these questions?” This will help you narrow on an approach to use for data collection. Here is a checklist to use in the development of your research questions:Did I create several questions closely related to my topic and aligned with my problem and purpose statements? Are my questions measureable or answerable? Is the scope of my questions reasonable for the time and resources I have to complete this research? Will these questions help me better understand some area needing to be changed or improved? Are my questions phrased in a way avoiding leading language such as: “Since children hate homework, how many minutes of after-school work should be assigned?”Are my questions worded to avoid the word “why,” as these are very difficult to answer in any study?Do my questions avoid a “yes” or “no” response, as scholarly research should provide more in-depth results?
Research Question Alignment Tool
Research Question 1 – List the research question.
Variables – List the variables involved in this question, if applicable (include independent, dependent, and extraneous variables).Permission – What kinds of permission will you need to access the data to answer these questions?Research Question 2 – List the research question.Variables – List the variables involved in this question, if applicable (include independent, dependent, and extraneous variables).Permission – What kinds of permission will you need to access the data to answer this question?
REQUIRED
Draft two or more Qualitative research questions.Qualitative: Research questions must be aligned with the purpose statement (See attached Week 1 and 2 and 3… for continuity purposes). Qualitative research questions should be open-ended and reflect the nature of the qualitative design (avoid yes/no and closed-ended questions).

Good evening.

Hope you are well.

The following three cases are due by 11:am Monday Sept. 27th.

Brown v Bd. Of Education
McCulloch v Maryland
Barron v Baltimore

Stay safe.

Professor Collins ( in my professor’s words)
The briefs dont need to be that long below i’m going to paste a sample of how a brief can look.
BRIEF SAMPLE

Chimel v California

Facts: The police came to Defendant’s home with an arrest warrant for an alleged burglary. The police asked permission to “look around” the house. The defendant refused the request and the police proceeded to search the home anyways. The police also made the defendant’s wife remove various contents of various dresser drawers. The police seized coins and medals which were later used to convince the defendant of burglary.

Issue: Where a defendant is lawfully arrested inside his home, is a warrantless search of the area beyond the defendant’s immediate control constitutional?

Holding: Where there is probable cause to search and there is a clear danger that the items which are the subject of the search may be removed prior to police obtaining a search warrant, a warrantless search of the area beyond the arrestee’s immediate control is reasonable under the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution.

Legal rational: In a 7-2 decision, the Court held that the search of Chimel’s house was unreasonable under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment’s. The Court reasoned that “searches incident to arrest” are limited to the area within the immediate control of the suspect. While police could reasonably search and seize evidence on or around the arrestee’s person, they were prohibited from rummaging through the entire house without a search warrant. The Court emphasized the importance of warrants and probable cause as necessary bulwarks against government abuse.

is the essence of scholarly discourse. The graduate student should, at a minimum, be given to critical thought in a way that exposes gaps in the literature and offers new insight to more improved methodologies and policymaking. The Socratic method is the workhorse of the young scholar. Succeeding in failing to disprove a hypothesis is the hallmark of achievement in this regard. Once this hypothesis is identified through the Research Paper: Thesis Statement and Annotated Bibliography Assignment, it must be grounded spiritually. Please respond to the following three posts and cite 3 different sources. 1. Looping structures can be very helpful writing essay help: writing essay help

Please respond to the following three posts and cite 3 different sources.

1. Looping structures can be very helpful when coding an application. These are designed for iterative statements that need to happen multiple times. There are several looping structures you can utilize in C , For, While and Do loops, which do you prefer and why?

2.For loops I see the usefulness in each, however I will say that the “For” loop had to be my favorite. One of the things that I most enjoy about the loop is the readability, it allows you to Cleary set conditions and you have flexibility inside the actual For function before you actually get into the statements underneath it. When putting it together I prefer the set up of a pretest for loop. As I said each loop has its usefulness but with my experience in Javascriipt and past coding, for loops are something I’ve defaulted to and it has stuck with me and that I imagine is one of the easier ways to read others codes.

3.C offers several looping structures that we can all benefit from when coding an application. All these looping structures have different features we can use to make our coding experience more reliable. Although they all seem useful, I would prefer to choose “While”. “While” loops are very simple and their syntax is while (condition) . The reason I choose while is because the condition must be a Boolean expression (true || false), which in my opinion is less complicated to create.

Have an idea. This is important. A good idea is fairly easy to implement and follow. WRITE IT DOWN.
Refer to the rubric for this assignment often. Your video needs to be between 4 and 6 minutes long.
Have a plan. The better you plan the less time the whole project will take. This is true in life in general, but it is doubly so in video editing. Storyboard out your idea. Figure out what shots you’ll need, what environment the shots should be in. Iterate!
a.     Do you need any special props or extra hands or expertise to help out?
b.     Do you need to use a “green screen or green wall” to achieve the effect that you want?
c.     Do you have a preset idea of what you want to say or are you just filming something that is happening spontaneously?
d.     What are you going to wear?
e.     How much time will it take to film? It will take longer than you think, allow for it.
f.      Will you need special sound effects, if so, what are they and where will you get them?
Write a “script” that you can follow and be sure you don’t forget anything. This way you can also do a take a couple of times in case something goes wrong.
Think about your music carefully. If it is important to the film, it is important to keep it in mind from the start. Music is very powerful: use it wisely. Don’t use music for the entire length of the video but do use it to create interest at the beginning, middle, or end.  Overuse can be distracting to the learner.
If you are going to use the microphone directly from the camera or video recorder, make sure that the camera is picking it up well enough. You might need a mic or some other plan of attack. Place the mic close to the subject and point it away from (undesired) noise. Sound is often more important than visuals or pictures.
**Always take more film at the beginning and end of every take than you need. It will make editing easier. Give yourself a little extra recorded content to play with.
Once you have written a great plan and implemented it you will likely have unedited video segments with much more footage and content than you’ll actually need.
Implementing the Plan
When videoing, use a tripod whenever possible.
Avoid frequent panning and zooming – it can cause visual distress.
Balanced lighting is important. Get a good contrast between the subject

We will read statements authored by Restany and Maciunas and learn about the artists affiliated with each movement.
