Paper assignment: Your paper assignment is a formal paper that you’ll submit in form of a google doc or college essay help online: college essay help online

Paper assignment:

Your paper assignment is a formal paper that you’ll submit in form of a google doc or a pdf document in this discussion (provide link or attach pdf). The detailed descriiption for this exercise is in the Student Guidebook starting from Page 5 (under the Syllabus tab, scroll down, the green writings after the textbook image titled “Student Guidebook”). The paper is meant to be 5-6 pages and no more than 6 pages (double spaced, 12 font). Follow the instructions presented here (also provided in the student guidebook).

NOTE:

**Please have the exercise in a Google doc as oppose to posting your answers in the submission box.

**For this paper assignment you’ll select a clip from a movie or a tv show of your choice. You could select anything that you think you could provide an analysis on. For example, clips from talk shows or news presentations or discussions, or debates are fine. Just make sure that it’s a communicative interaction between individuals. You’ll have to provide the link in your response.

**You’ll see your peers’ replies after you post yours

Example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PjZAeiU7uM (Links to an external site.)

Make sure it’s a clip and preferably not lengthy. You’ll also have to indicate which part is your analysis about, especially for longer clips. For example: from min 0:21 to min 2:00 (for the above clip)

Again, this is a formal paper, please turn in with a Google doc and do have a formal writing with correct grammar.

Please see the Student Guidebook for a thorough descriiption of the paper assignment. Below is the revised version.

Follow these general instructions:

Select a primary communication context (e.g., interpersonal communication.) that is reflected in a particular film/video of your choosing. Also, you will use several, specific terms (e.g., kinesics, proxemics, ethnocentrism, self-disclosure, relational dialectics, reflected appraisal, etc.) that are related to your communication context. An “A” (90-100) response will have at least 5-7 distinct comm course concepts with precise application and examples from the clip.
Conduct scholarly research in order to fully understand your chosen context. In other words, you will find two journal articles (academic peer reviewed articles – see Exercise #3) and use your textbook (or lecture slides) to help you understand and apply course terms in this assignment. You could use the same academic peer reviewed article from Exercise #3 again for this assignment. Please provide an APA citation of your academic source as in references.
You will define and explain the terms, and analyze how they are presented in the film. That is, you’ll have to define each concept that you use and then present your application and observations (See samples Here: Comm101-Paper Excerpt Sample (Links to an external site.). After each defining you’ll cite the book even when using lecture notes which is from your text book. From the research articles you’ll also bring in new information and cite the research article.

Start your response by:

1. Briefly summarize the clip or interaction under analysis (up to 5 sentences). For example:

a.Begin with a few general statements about ideas relevant to your paper, such as a few statements about communication, relationships, conflict, public speaking, organizations, etc. Whatever your paper’s topic, lead into it for the reader.

b.Indicate the film or the episode that you will analyze.

c. Next, clearly explain your goals for this paper. In other words, what is this paper’s thesis? What is the purpose of this paper? What will it accomplish? What will your paper explain and illustrate about the communication seen in this film. End your introduction with a preview of the main points of your paper. Your main points will be the terms that you will apply and analyze in the film.

Then:

2. Define and explain one or several concepts that you observe in the clip (you could do this one at a time following this pattern: define concept 1 then example from clip; define concept 2 then example from clip; etc). As you define your concepts, be sure to cite evidence (quote) from your textbook and your journal articles. Please note, you must provide a definition for every concept you use. This should not be difficult, you have your lecture notes and the textbook. Provide the definition and cite the book like this (Wood, 2013).

3. Make sure you thoroughly describe how the concept is demonstrated in your clip (this is the example from the clip part from the above mentioned pattern). For example, here is where you explain how the characters in your film/clip demonstrate “autonomy vs connection” “kinesics” “direct definition” or some other course concept. Be sure to provide distinct examples from the clip, and be sure to explain yourself fully. This becomes your analysis of their communication.

4. Cite your academic articles in APA format in references. That is provide in one line at the end of your paper.

One of the citation that should be used.

Citation: Yeşil, R. (2008). Evaluation of Body Language Behavior in a Class Debate. Social Behavior

This writing assignment will bring together the bibliography, thesis, and outline you worked on in Topics 2 and 3. Of utmost importance will be the focus and clarity of your writing (elaboration and sense of argumentation), the mechanics of the paper (spelling and grammar), and the use of Turabian style from start (title page) to finish (bibliography). Although the theological contribution is less important at this point, your paper should demonstrate your current ability to think biblically and theologically, and engage scholarly ideas in a critical manner. To prepare for this assignment, review the Turabian Style Guide, Turabian Template, and Turabian Tutorial, located in the Student Success Center. The Turabian Tutorial will walk you through how to use the Turabian Template, which you will use to write this paper. The Turabian Style Guide will provide writing and citation guidelines. Business Plan Project Help Guide The following outline for your business plan is a guide to ensure that all essay help: essay help

Business Plan Project Help Guide
The following outline for your business plan is a guide to ensure that all pertinent factors are evaluated and presented
in a concise, structured way that will enable you as the entrepreneur and potential investors or partners to assess the
viability and soundness of your proposed business venture.
Your entire business plan should be concise. It is to be submitted as a printed Word document not exceeding 10
pages, with maximum of 1.5 line spacing and 10-12 pt font, including the cover page and table of contents.
A required Excel financial statement (described in Section VI) is to be included with your plan, and is not included in
the page count limitation. The financial statement will be separately printed and attached to the Word document
business plan with the business name clearly indicated. An Excel template will be provided to you for the financial
statement and we will review it during an upcoming class.
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Cover PageYour cover page should say the words “Business Plan,” and should include:
– Names of All Team Members
– Business name
– Business Address: Use: Berkeley City College, 2050 Center St. Berkeley, CA
– Website of business
– Telephone number
– E-mail address
– Date plan was completed (or revised)
Table of Contents
Your table of contents provides readers with a quick and easy way to find particular sections of the plan.
All pages of your business plan should be numbered and the table of contents should include page
numbers. After you assemble your plan and number your pages, go back to the table of contents and insert
page numbers.
Section I. Executive Summary
The executive summary is what most readers will go to first. If it is not good, it may be the last thing they
read about your company. Investors read executive summaries before looking at the rest of a
plan to determine whether or not they want to learn more about a business. Other readers will also go first
to your executive summary to get a snapshot of your business and to gauge your professionalism and the
viability of your business.
Make yours stand out by delivering a strong message right from the start. This section should answer briefly the basic
questions an investor or potential partner would ask.
– Who is on the team?
– What business is your company in?
– Why should we invest in your product or service? – What is the “WHY?” behind your business
– How will you achieve the potential in your business model?
– How much money is required
It is easiest to write this section last. Complete the rest of the plan and then write the executive summary. Aim to
keep this to one page or less. Make it compelling, but concise.
Section II. Business Concept and Background
Your business descriiption is your vision, and includes: who you are, what you will offer, what market needs you will
address, and why your business idea is viable. It should describe exactly what you will be selling, and why people or
businesses will buy it. How is your product different from similar items already on the market?
Discussion of your business
a. Mission Statement
The discussion of your company should begin with your mission statement – a two or three sentence statement of the
purpose of your business and to whom your product or service is targeted. Why are you in this business?
A well-thought out, well-articulated statement can help you become a success with customers or anyone else. It will
elicit additional questions and comments and get the ball rolling with prospects. It will show that you understand your
business, are clear with its purpose, and know who your customers are.
b. General Descriiption of Your Business – what is the Business Concept?
Once you have your mission statement, you can then discuss the more “technical” aspects of your company. This
section of the plan should include:
i. Type of business you’re planning to enter
Your business should fall in one of several categories. Is your business retail, wholesale, service,
manufacturing, construction, professional, or import and export? What is the product or service you propose
to offer. Briefly describe it here as an introduction, and you will elaborate on it in more detail in a later
section. This section is intended to orient the reader to your general idea.
ii. Business Name
– Make your name memorable. Forgettable names are those of people (like O’Brien Web Design), those
that include geographic terms (like Westside Health Foods) and names that literally describe a product
or service (like Appliance Sales and Repair, Inc.). Remember, you want to distinguish yourself from
your competitors.
– Your name should be appealing and easy to use. Choose a name that’s easy to spell and
pronounce, and that is appealing to both eye and ear. Make sure that any images or associations it
evokes will suit your customer base.
– Avoid geographical names A geographical name may no longer fit if your business expands its sales
or service area. If you open Berkeley Aquariums

Q1) Find an example of a small business that is using social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, to promote their products or services.

The company I have chosen is The Honolulu Star Advertiser. The company has presence in all of the Social Media Markets and does well with using the space to provide OnDemand news and services.

Advantages of using social media is being able to reach an enormous number of customers and get quick feedback. Social media is also a great way to reach international markets and the cost is very low.

Disadvantages of using of social media can also be considers a good thing but good news travels fast but bad news travels faster. Social medial can be a very large machine that reaches everywhere super-fast and without any way to slow the spread. In addition to word traveling fast – it can be slowed if doesn’t properly invest in the site itself since social networks are not completely free, or at least some of the services they offer.

I feel the Star Advertiser does really well with utilizing this platform and has an enormous followership but I would recommend the company pays more attention to where their content is landing and if they are having their content restricted. If they do not keep track of their visibility, they might only reach a small part of the followers. I am sure they have an entire marketing section but if they are not on top of postings and tracking readership, they can hurt any progress they might have made. The bottom line is If you want to reach more people, you will have to invest by paying for advertising.

This is a team project,The professor of this article gave us suggestions for revision. I will attach the team project and my part, only need to modify my part.Professor’s revised opinion:

This has the potential to be an interesting paper. However, your paper is brief, and the bulk of it is based on paraphrasing and summarizing the small numbers of articles referenced. There is a lot of good work here but unless you cite your sources correctly, I have no alternative but to grade you at 0. You must cite your work. If it is not your own idea but something you have read, then you must cite it properly and include the citation in text plus in the references at the end.

This paper should show clear evidence of your own analysis and evaluation of the subject and not just be a summary of your reading.

In terms of your content, one of the requirements of the project is to relate your answer to the concepts we covered, and in this paper I see little evidence of that. For your final submission, try to ensure that you incorporate concepts covered in class. These could include TVM, corporate winners and lisers, risk and return – as examples.

As a guide for the final submission: if I think it is not properly cited, if sources are not correctly acknowledged then I will grade the entire project at 0.

News-stream Project Description and Guidelines ENGL 101 – Fall 2021 Due Date: In PDF format on Blackboard in PDF format argumentative essay help

News-stream Project Description and Guidelines ENGL 101 – Fall 2021 Due Date: In PDF format on Blackboard in PDF format by 11:59PM on Sunday, 12 September 2021 For this project you will create and analyze your own news-stream. You may want to revisit the TEDEd video we watched in class, “How To Choose Your News,” located on our Blackboard page in the “Media Literacy” tab. It may also help you to review the various journalistic ethics documents we’ve discussed in class. As we’re discussing in class, it is important to understand the various kinds of news media. Where did the news outlet originate historically? Every major news source has an online version, but most of the reputable U.S. news outlets began as newspapers, magazines, or on broadcast radio or television in the days before the internet. There are many exclusively online news outlets that have distinguished themselves by garnering awards and praise from organizations that monitor responsible and ethical journalism like Pulitzer and Poynter, but these outlets can sometimes be hard to distinguish from sensationalist or opinion sites without digging a little deeper into their history and intended audience. This also does not mean that the mediums of newspaper, magazine, and broadcast do not have their own versions of disreputable reporting or sensationalist opinion masquerading as news – the New York Post, tabloids, and talk radio are just a few examples. But we have to be far warier of who we trust regarding online news outlets. For this assignment, you will choose two (2) news outlets in each of these categories for a total of eight (8) outlets (they can all be the online iterations of the outlets): Newspaper, Magazine, Broadcast (Television and Radio), Online; and: #1) Write 1-2 full paragraphs describing each of the eight sources you’ve chosen – how is it organized? what is their code of ethics? what types of stories does it cover? what makes it a credible, trustworthy source (or not)? what awards or recognition have they garnered recently? You’re looking for factual confirmation here; “because Joe Smith on Facebook says so” is not an answer. You will need to spend some time on the site and find their principles/ethics/journalistic integrity statements and/or a list of awards/recognition received by the outlet and/or by their individual journalists. You may also want to look into what other media outlets the parent company of your chosen outlet owns. #2) Choose one (1) news story (not opinion or op-ed pieces or talk shows) from one of your chosen outlets to read or watch. Provide information on the piece (title, date, author/reporter, and outlet) and write 1-2 full paragraphs that discuss how the reporting in the story works – what level of scale the story is working on? what is the intention of the piece? what evidence or testimony does the piece provide as support? why do you feel you are able to trust that the piece is a presentation of factual information (besides its origination at a reputable news source)? For the third part of this assignment, in 1-2 paragraphs each find and assess one (1) example of: #3) The first “news” item that pops up in any of your social media feeds (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.). #4) A media outlet that represents the opposite pole of your own confirmation bias – this does not necessarily have to be a reputable or ethical source, but you will need to explain why it is or is not reputable based on the principles of journalistic integrity we’ve b

Count Dracula’s origins are found in Eastern Europe–a marginalized, liminal, obscure, blank space on the map, which is, from the dominant White English perspective, associated with darkness, darkness, undesirable ethnic traits, and the practice of religious superstitions (again, from the Protestant English perspective on Roman Catholicism). Like Victor Frankenstein’s nameless Monster, Dracula is violent and bent on revenge.

In a well-constructed and typo-free essay (1000 words max), describe and discuss Dracula as a repository of English cultural anxiety about otherness, which is represented in the novel variously as deformity, monstrosity, criminality, and racial, ethnic, and gender and sexual difference. The best essays will draw upon the text of the novel as well as the contextualizing materials found in the Appendices in the Broadview edition. Your essay must be entirely your own work: no references to or use of outside works (except the Appendices) will be permitted.

Your final paper should take a position on the credibility of your chosen narrative and explore the various research essay help online free

Your final paper should take a position on the credibility of your chosen narrative and explore the various
research surrounding it, determining why you think it still maintains its relevance and how its proponents
use rhetoric to argue for its credibility, select and integrate sources, and develop an original persuasive
argument using MLA style and documentation.
Your research essay may take one of three forms (or you could explore some other concept in your
chosen texts as long as you include research to reinforce your claims):
1). A comparison of two primary texts and multiple variants (if necessary) (urban legend, rumor, fairy
tale, etc.) where you use sources to make an argument for how your texts comment on contemporary
society, accounting for Kairos, ethos, logos, and pathos. Thus, your thesis could resemble this one: “The
Vanishing Hitchhiker” is still effective in commenting on contemporary society because it focuses on
anxieties related to growing up in America, such as conformity, conservatism, and individualism.
2). An examination of two primary texts and multiple variants (urban legend, rumor, fairy tale, etc.)
where you use sources to make an argument for which text has evolved the most to account for societal
change. Thus, your thesis could resemble this one: “Little Red Riding Hood” and “The Dead Cat in the
Package” comment on American culture in various ways, exploring societal fears, expectations, and
norms; however, “Little Red Riding Hood” has been more fluid in how it provides possible solutions and
suggestions for societal problems.
3). A comparison of two stories (and their variants, if applicable) we have examined this semester in
which you discuss the similarities and differences between the two — possible similarities and differences
could include: moral, theme, lesson, character archetypes, etc., as well as how they incorporate ethos,
logos, and pathos. Thus, your thesis could resemble this one: On the surface, “The Kentucky Fried Rat”
and “The Bear From Arkansas” may appear different, but each is similar in how they include a morale
that cautions against certain behaviors, a theme that remains relevant, and an analysis of specific character
types that seem timeless.
Components
1. Outline (Optional)
1.1 This detailed formal outline will help organize the main points of your paper.
1.2 Include your personal thesis.
1.3 Consider the main points you will make. How would you arrange them to make a logical
argument?
1.4 What subpoints will you make within each point?
Your paper will consist of these parts:
2. Body of the paper (6-8 pages)
2.1 Expand upon your main points and subpoints.
2.2 Consider the various techniques of summary, evaluation, analysis, and synthesis.
2.3 You must use one direct quote per paragraph. You have to cite them in MLA using both
internal citation and signal phrases to get full credit.
2.4 If you are paraphrasing, you must also include internal citation. I need to know where you got
your information. Remember numbers are not common knowledge.
2.4 Include a final References page for the sources you cite in your paper.
2
3. References
4.1 MLA style
4.2 Please include only the specific sources you cite in your paper.
4.3 You will lose a significant number of points if you do not include a Works Cited Page on a
separate page.

Evaluation
300 points total:
 Rough Draft (11/19)
 Final 6-8 page research paper: (12/1 – Midnight)
Getting Started
Consider the following questions before/as you draft:
 What, exactly, is the issue or controversy/folk narrative you are researching?
 Which type of text are you going to examine?
 Are you going to examine two completely different texts or variants of one text?
 What background does your audience need to know to understand the complexity of the issue or
accept your viewpoint?
 How can you hook the audience?
 What is the specific argument (thesis) you make in response to the issue?
 How can you break down the issue/present your viewpoint in logical points?
 What other perspectives on the issue inform and influence your research?
 How do these other perspectives interact with one another? How can you turn their arguments into a
conversation in your research paper?
 What conclusion can you make or solution can you propose as a result of your argument?

The Situation It is time to negotiate a new contract with some of Lightning Wholesale’s unionized employees. The company believes in dealing fairly with its employees. Based on the current economic environment, cost of living increases, and the financial health of the organization, management feels that the best it can offer is a 3% wage increase. From its own analysis, the union believes that the company is holding out and that a 5.5% wage increase is more than possible. Unfortunately, negotiations have broken down, and the union has turned to its employee group seeking strike action. The union is certain of achieving its wage increase through the strike action, though it advises the employees that they may need to go on strike for three months to achieve the goal. The employees are trying to figure out their best course of action—should they vote to go on strike or not?

Total Environmental Health and Safety Management college essay help online

1. However, eliminating the hazard and substitution have usurped engineering control’s position at the top of the hierarchy although they have always been obvious best options, just not always included in discussions of the hierarchy of controls. Identify two examples where elimination of the hazard or substitution was, or might be, applied as a means of hazard control. Discuss some of the pros and cons of this option as compared to the other options in the hierarchy. You may also select examples from places you have worked or for which you have some familiarity.
Your response must be at least 200 words in length.

2.In Unit III, you sent a document in which you informed management at Gemstone Fabricators, Inc. that it would need to enhance its accountability specifications in its performance evaluations for managers. You also pointed out the need to make sure that employees who have been asked to be involved in the safety endeavors at Gemstone understand and are trained in the roles they are expected to play.

Cindy is the plant manager from Gemstone, and she has asked you to perform a sound level survey and noise dosimetry in the fabrication shop, which can get pretty noisy when all three mechanical power presses and the 12-foot shear are running at the same time for several hours a day. She also asked that you identify noise level exposures in the adjacent welding department. Your results indicate that the noise levels in the area are just above the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) permissible exposure level for an average day in the fabrication department.

The welding department is adjacent to the fabrication department, and there is no separating wall. The welding operations are not quite as noisy, although the crackle of a well-adjusted MIG welder can be rather loud when welding mild steel. Noise monitoring and dosimetry of the welders indicated an exposure of just over OSHA’s Action Level of 85 Dba. In addition, you remember taking the survey readings and watching the noise level jump in the welding shop every time the power presses or shear cycled in the fabrication area.

After consulting with fellow industrial hygienists, it was determined that setting up a 12′ X 30′ noise barrier wall between the fabrication area and the welding area and adding noise absorption panels to both sides of the barrier wall and to the white-painted concrete walls in the fabrication department would decrease the sound levels in the welding area to several decibels below OSHA’s Action Level.

Of course, these engineering controls will cost $33,000 dollars. This is compared to a continuing hearing conservation program to include annual audiograms, or hearing tests, annual training, and providing noise protection for the welding department which is estimated to cost $9,000 per year. This amount would be saved each year if the engineering controls are installed.

If the company takes out a loan for $33,000 at 5% interest, what will the payback period be for the loan? Please consult your unit lesson for the necessary formulas. What would be your recommendation to the employer with respect to the options available? Please show your work. Make sure you justify your reasoning and that you consider the hierarchy of controls in your discussion.
Your response must be at least 200 words in length in addition to your financial analysis.

You will also make capital budgeting and investment decisions, and present long-term financial analysis for the facility. In this analysis, you will evaluate the financial implications of current and future healthcare trends and discuss the future of healthcare financial management in the United States.
In this unit, your assignment is to submit a research paper topic that gives basic background information about your healthcare facility and presents current budget information. The first part of this assignment is to decide which facility that you wish to analyze. Do not use the same facility you used in the Unit V Assignment. Create your own facility name, background, and information about what type of healthcare facility it is. Give a brief description of your facility, including information about its history, its current financial situation, and whether it is for-profit or nonprofit.
Part two of the assignment for this unit is to outline the budget information for your facility for 2018. Include the revenues, costs, and profits (or losses). With this information, present a budget and actual results for the facility with the difference in dollar-terms and percentages based on the actual numbers. Explain the relationships of these.
