You would like to establish an operational goal of having your corporation apply for a B Corp Certification within the next two years. You believe this would add value to the organization and help it to prioritize a stronger focus on sustainable operational practices. You have conducted a preassesment based on the recommendations for applying for B Corp Certification, and you’ve evaluated the corporation’s current strengths and areas for improvement.

Now you need to develop a proposal for the board of directors that explains why prioritizing the triple bottom line (TBL) through working toward B Corp Certification has organizational value. You must also propose three high-impact initiatives to help strengthen the corporation’s commitment to people, planet, and profit based on your evaluations.

Directions
Part One: Justification of Benefits: Justify the value of working toward more intentionally incorporating the TBL framework into organizational decision making, specifically how ethical business practices regarding people, planet, and profit can benefit society, the environment, and the company’s profit. Specifically, address the following:
A. Key Components: Explain the three key components of the TBL framework and how each component benefits businesses and society.
B. Organizational Value: Provide a justification regarding the value and benefits of using the TBL framework to inform corporate decision making, and explain connections between the organizational mission and the organizational vision.
B. Corporation Benefits: Briefly describe the organizational benefits of attaining B Corp Certification.

Part Two: Operational Recommendations: Read through the Preassessment Evaluation Summary (located in the Supporting Materials section) for each aspect of the TBL (people, profit, and planet). You will need to provide a detailed description of the initiatives that will create the needed improvement. You should note the organizational and societal value of the initiative along with the operational management techniques recommended to plan and complete each initiative. For each of your three initiatives, address the following:
A. Organizational Impacts: Describe the organizational benefits of each initiative, specifically noting the expected positive impact of completing each. Examples of positive impacts include better alignment to the organization’s mission, vision, and culture statements; increased amounts of funds or resources saved; and improvements to the organization’s brand.
B. Societal Impacts: Describe the societal benefits of each initiative, specifically noting the expected positive impact of completing each. Examples of positive impacts include increased community building and positive environmental impact.
C. Customer Impacts: Describe the consumer benefits of each selected initiative, specifically noting the expected positive impact of completing each. Examples of positive impacts include increased alignment to target markets, improved product access and availability, and improved customer satisfaction.
D. Business Risks: Explain the business risks associated with prioritizing, planning, and resourcing each initiative and how these risks will be considered and monitored.
E. Operational Management Techniques: Recommend an operational management strategy or technique (e.g., project management, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma) that is appropriate to implement for each selected initiative, and explain why.
F. Defining Requirements and Scope: Define the requirements for the successful implantation of each selected initiative as well as the scope of each. Describe how changes to the requirements and scope would impact timelines, budget, and risk.
G. Roles and Responsibilities: Explain the key internal and external stakeholders who would be involved in planning and implementing each selected initiative, as well as why each identified stakeholder is needed to successfully implement the initiatives.

Written Report: Submit a 1,500- to 1,700-word Word document. Use APA style.

Respond to each classmate 100 words a piece. The question they had to answer. (Discuss the various duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of the Principal-Agent (employer-employee) relationship as college admissions essay help: college admissions essay help

Non-solicitation clauses are used by the company if an employee moves to a competing company to prevent the employee from spilling company secrets. While still allowing the employee to preform a job they are familiar with. Acknowledging trade secrets is another characterization that allows employees to be protected from using a two-key system that includes “what the employer is protecting must actually be a trade secret in terms of its value or under state statue, and the employer must have taken steps to protect its secrecy.” (Jennings, M., 2017, p. 584) Such as preforming the first two types of loyalty. Torts and Misappropriation are used to prevent previous employees from working with future competitors or using trade secrets into their own businesses. However, this is a harder type of action to preform and is usually only used in states that do not use the noncompete clause.
The duty of obedience used in principle-agent relationships gives the agent the right to take instruction from the principle. However, they cannot be instructed to break the law, they are able to use logic to dictate which is best for the principle and act in their best interest. Whereas the duty to care ensures that the agent makes decisions that would be logical and acceptable if doing so for themselves. Which ensures that the actions preformed by the agents are done carefully and with effort they would put into their own cases or business opportunities. Whereas, if an agent does not respect the duty of care duties, they would be in violation of principal-agent relationship and could be liable for all damages that occurs under their authority.
Classmate 2
In business law, the principal-agent relationship refers to an arrangement where one entity (the principal) appoints another (the agent) to perform a range of duties on its behalf. The terms of a principal-agent relationship is often defined in a contract with the agent expected to have no conflict of interest in performing their duties. The agent’s primary duty is to perform tasks within acceptable levels of skill. The agent has a legal obligation to complete the assigned tasks without any intentional negligence (Jennings, 2017). The principal, on the other hand, may be a sole individual or a corporation. The primary duty of the principal is to act as the agent’s employer. In addition to defining the scope of tasks to be performed by the agent, the principal is legally obliged to compensate the agent under the terms of the contract.
Although the principal-agent relationship is typically in a written contract between the two parties, it may also be implied through actions. Irrespective of how it is expressed, the relationship means that the two parties are effectively involved in a fiduciary relationship. As such, the agent is expected to always prioritize the principal’s interests. To the extent that the instructions provided are reasonable, the agent has a legal obligation to complete all assigned tasks (Jennings, 2017). The terms of the contract may also imply a duty of loyalty on the agent’s part. This duty of loyalty requires that the agent avoids putting himself/herself in a position that pits their personal interests against those of their employer. The agent is also legally obliged to avoid actions that may intentionally harm their employer.

The question they had to answer. (Read and analyze the “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.” Discuss the actions that violate this act and the penalties associated with those violations.)
Classmate 1
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is a consumer protection amendment that provides legal protection from abusive debt collection practices.  The main objective of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is to eliminate and control abusive collection practices that were being demonstrated by many creditors prior to 1977.  The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) applies to consumer debt and certain debt collectors (Jennings, 2017).
The consumer debts and debt collectors fall under the Truth and Lending Act where full disclosure is required regarding the credit contract and consumer rights. The consumer debts that fall under The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) are debts related to your home, personal, and family purposes. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act does not apply to an outstanding account with the Internal Revenue or commercial accounts.
Under The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), there are some restrictions that must be adhered to by the debt collector. A violation of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is when a third-party debt collector notifies other parties about the debtor’s debt.  This does not apply to the parties spouse or parent as they can be contacted for general inquiries regarding the debt. Another example is a debt collector making harassing calls to the consumer before 8:00 am and after 9:00 pm (Jennings, 2017). Also, certain places like churches and schools are off-limits to debt collectors. Likewise, physical force and abusive language are also prohibited (Jennings, 2017).
When the FDCPA has been violated by a debt collector, the enforcement authority under the Consumer Financial Protection Act intervenes by issuing cease-and-desist orders to stop the collection. However, the greatest enforcement can come from the debtors who can prove collectors violations. If so, the debtor can actually sue and collect for actual injuries and mental duress (Jennings, 2017).
Classmate 2
In collecting debt, a collector is not allowed to threaten the debtor, use pious language, harass through telephone calls, and publish debtors. The first issue that violates the Fair Debt Collection Act involves engagement in using threats or violence or any criminal ways to injure the debtor physically, their reputation, or the debtor’s assets. Next is the use of pious or indecent language intended to abuse the listener or reader (Jennings, 2017; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, n.d.). The third conduct is the engagement in continuous telephone conversations to bother, harass, or insult a debtor. The fourth action that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is publication of a list of customers who supposedly decline paying debts save for consumer reporting agencies or individuals meeting the obligations of section 1681a (f) or 1681b (3) of this title (Federal Trade Commission, 2016). The above-mentioned action when presented to court results in a strong punitive lawsuit against defendants.
The bureau of consumer financial protection (CFPB) takes strong measures against individuals or organizations that violate the fair debt collection act. For instance, in March 2015, CFPB filed a complaint against seven debt collection companies and six independent debt collectors. The defendants were accused of violating the FDCPA by using harassment to collect a debt from consumers. In August 2019, the verdict was passed, the defendants were banned from the industry and ordered $663,710 as compensation (Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, 2020). Additionally, in 2019 two FDCPA matters were solved by the bureau. These matters resulted in the defendant paying a compensation fee of roughly $50 million as compensation to consumers and $11.2 million in civil money penalties (Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, 2020). Debt collection should, therefore, be done integrity to avoid corrective action from the court or bureau, which might be costly.

watch film …. due tomorrow essay help

this is due tomorrow and there is no extra time.

Watch the following movie:   Night of the Living Dead (1968) [Horror] [Mystery] – YouTube

As you watch, consider how the film is a representation of its time. In addition to the historical elements mentioned above, legal segregation had ended in the U.S. just four years earlier–though racial discrimination and oppression continued. The space race (Links to an external site.) was well underway, and Americans were just one year away from landing the first humans on the moon. To say a lot was happening the year this was released is an understatement.

Additionally, you can “read” this film through a 2020 lens. In keeping with our theme about “place,” I see Night of the Living Dead as a sort of pandemic film. For one, though this film never makes it clear what causes the zombies, many zombie films depict a virus as the starting point of the zombie apocalypse.

There’s something else about this film that’s reminiscent of 2020: the characters are unexpectedly stuck indoors, and with other people. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from The Walking Dead, it’s that the zombies are not really the point–it’s the people you should be scared of. And the zombies are just us anyway.

So, as a film about 2020 that was filmed in 1968, Night of the Living Dead offers viewers an opportunity to explore the dynamics of being stuck in place. What do we fear there? How do we manage? How do we interact with each other? What power dynamics present themselves?

A little more about the film before you watch it: It is considered the first modern zombie film, and it sort of sets the parameters for what gets considered a zombie. Its creator, George Romero, did not intend for this to be a zombie film, but that is how people read it and that’s how art works!

Assignment

As you watch Night of the Living Dead, take note of what stands out to you and your thoughts on it. Keep an MRL as you watch, and feel free to fill in your inferences after watching. Then, submit your MRL to this assignment. (If you’re taking notes by hand, you can take photos of your notes and upload them.) This will serve as strong practice for WP2, in which you’ll analyze a film or other scary story. (You might even choose to analyze this film!) To help guide your note taking, consider the questions asked above, as well as the information provided here. And of course, your MRL should primarily just follow your thoughts and observations as you watch.

Question 1
Question 1 refers to the virtual experiment A model cobalt complex for oxygen uptake (delivered via the OpenScience Laboratory and found in Study Week 10). As well as testing your understanding of this experiment and associated material, this question will prepare you for the experimental write-up that you will be required to complete for TMA05, which forms a significant part of the examinable component for this module.
(a) Prior to completing an experimental procedure it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment. Refer to Activity 1.3 in the experiment and the material safety data sheets and risk and safety phrases to answer the following questions in your own words:
(i) Determine the Exposure Risk category for Co(II) nitrate hexahydrate, explaining your reasoning.
(ii) Would you perform the synthesis of Co(salen) complex on the open bench or in a fume-cupboard? Explain your reasoning. What personal protection should be worn during the procedure?
(iii) The first step in the experiment to monitor the uptake of O2 by the Co(salen) complex is to react the complex with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Discuss how you should dispose of any waste DMSO and explain why you would not simply dispose of it down the sink?
(b) Write an account of the online experiment, A model cobalt complex for oxygen uptake, under the headings given below and including the information asked for under each heading.
With reference to this figure, describe the method used to measure the uptake of oxygen. You should write this in your own words and avoid simply repeating the instructions given. You do not need to include the diagram of the apparatus in your answer.

Figure 1 Apparatus to determine the uptake of O2 by the Co(salen) complex
Results and discussion – Copy and paste your table of data and a plot of oxygen uptake against time into your answer. Prepare this section for the experimental report using the following questions as a guide.
How long did it take for the complex to become saturated with oxygen?
Optional question: The following question has no marks associated with it as it is not part of the assessment, however, if you wish to engage further with this topic by answering the question, feedback will be supplied.
(c) The Resonance Raman spectra of normal and enriched 18O-labelled [(DMSO)(Salen)Co]2O2 are shown in Figure 2. Considering the two peaks indicated with an asterix, what does this technique suggest about the nature of the coordinated oxygen species?

Figure 2 Resonance Raman spectrum of [(DMSO)Co(salen)]2O2 (bottom spectrum) and enriched 18O-labelled [(DMSO)Co(salen)]2O2 (top spectrum) [Hester R.E., 1981]
Question 2
This question carries 15 marks for this assignment and tests learning outcomes KU2, KU3, CS1, CS2, KS2, KS3 and PS2.
This question will help prepare you for a question that assesses your understanding of NMR in TMA05.
NMR data for the 1H NMR spectra of salen (1) in CDCl3 containing TMS (tetramethylsilane) are given in Table 1. You will find it useful referring to the numbering system shown in the salen structure (1) in your discussion.

(a) Considering the structure of salen (1), discuss whether the number of proton signals observed in the 1H NMR spectrum and their relative integrals are what you would expect for the salen ligand. (You do not need to discuss multiplicity in your answer.)
(b) What can you deduce from the fact that the peak in the 1H NMR spectrum at 13.20 ppm disappears on shaking the solution with D2O?
(c) Assign the peaks in the 1H NMR spectrum for salen, noting that it is not possible to assign the aromatic signals unequivocally. You should, however, comment on how the multiplicity of these peaks can enable you to suggest two possibilities each for their assignment.
(d) Tenting is observed for the signals at 7.16 and 6.72 ppm. What does this suggest in terms of the relative arrangement of the protons from which these signals arise?

(MYH) is a Fortune 500 company that provides a variety of healthcareservices across the globe. MYH has more than 20,000 full-time employees and more than 5,000 part-time employees. MYH recently updated its strategic plan; key goals include reducing internal costs, increasing cross-selling of products, and exploiting new Web-based technologies to help employees, customers, and suppliers work together to improve the development and delivery of healthcareproducts and services. Below are some ideas the IT department has developed for supporting thesestrategic goals:1. Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project: Provide an application on the current intranet to helpemployees improve their health. A recent study found that MYH, Inc. pays 20 percent more than theindustry average for employee healthcare premiums, primarily due to the poor health of itsemployees. You believe that this application will help improve employee health within one year ofits rollout so that you can negotiate lower health insurance premiums, providing net savings of atleast $30/employee/year for full-time employees over the next four years. This application wouldinclude the following capabilities:• Allow employees to register for company-sponsored recreational programs, such as soccer, softball, bowling, jogging, and walking.• Allow employees to register for company-sponsored classes and programs to help them managetheir weight, reduce stress, stop smoking, and manage other health-related issues.• Track data on employee involvement in these recreational and health-management programs.• Offer incentives for people to join the programs and do well in them (e.g., incentives for
2. Health Coverage Costs Business Model: Develop an application to track employee healthcare
expenses and company healthcare costs. Healthcare premiums continue to increase, and the
company has changed insurance carriers several times in the past 10 years. This application should
allow business modeling of various scenarios as well as tracking and analyzing current and past
employee healthcare expenses and company healthcare costs. This application must be secure and
run on the current intranet so several managers and analysts can access it and download selected
data for further analysis. The new application must also import data from the current systems that
track employee expenses submitted to the company and the company’s costs to the insurance
provider. You believe that having this data will help you revise policies concerning employee
contributions to healthcare premiums and help you negotiate for lower premiums with insurance
companies. You estimate that this application would save your company about $20/employee/year
for full-time employees over the next four years and cost about $100,000 to develop.
3. Cross-Selling System: Develop an application to improve cross-selling to current customers. The
current sales management system has separate sections for major product and service categories
and different sales reps based on those products and services. You see great opportunities to
increase sales to current customers by providing discounts when they purchase multiple products
and services. You estimate that this system would increase profits by $1 million each year for the
next three years and cost about $800,000 each year for development and maintenance.
4. Web-Enhanced Communications System: Develop a Web-based application to improve
development and delivery of products and services. There are currently several incompatible
systems related to the development and delivery of products and services to customers. This
application would allow customers and suppliers to provide suggestions, enter orders, view the
status and history of orders, and use electronic commerce capabilities to purchase and sell their
products. You estimate that this system would save your company about $2 million each year for
three years after implementation. You estimate that the system will take one year and $3 million to
develop and require 20 percent of development costs each year to maintain.
Task :
: Evaluate the four projects above by preparing a weighted scoring model using the templateprovided. Develop at least four criteria, assign weights to each criterion, assign scores, and thencalculate the weighted scores. Also write a one-page paper that describes this weighted scoringmodel and the results.

M04 Discussion: Should You Eat Every Day?
6767 unread replies.6767 replies.

In this module you learned about cellular respiration which breaks down the food you eat to create energy for your cells (ATP).  The latest from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (posted by the CDC) put the rate of obese adults at 42.4 (up 2.5% from the 2015-2016 survey).  Why is it so hard for many people to lose weight?  Why are there so many different “diets” out there, and which ones actually work?  Watch the video “Should you eat everyday?” and read a short article about how obesity impacts those who are infected with COVID, then answer the questions below.  Don’t forget to respond to another student.

Should You Eat Every Day (Links to an external site.)

1.  What kind of “diet” is this video discussing?

2.  Name two pieces of evidence discussed in the video used to convince you that this type of eating pattern will help you lose weight.

3.  Would you try this type of “diet”?  Why do you think diets do or do not work for many people?

4.  Review the section on Obesity and Covid-19 (Links to an external site.).  How does this information affect your thoughts about dieting and maintaining a certain weight?

For some statistics from the CDC read this article on Prevalence of Obesity (Links to an external site.)

Please respond to these 4 postings: 1. We have a dollar tree and Walmart a couple of miles away college essay help online: college essay help online

Please respond to these 4 postings:
1. We have a dollar tree and Walmart a couple of miles away from our house. I reside in Hudson, Ma, which has a median income of 82k in 2018, above the average annual income of 65K across the rest of the united states. Having access to supplies from Walmart and dollar tree is an opportunity for numerous people who cannot afford and keep up with the inflation of the commodities. The food itself in Walmart is cheap, but the food quality is not fresh. Within the past year, there has been a rapid rise in consumption of dairy products leading to an increase in dairy product prices by 2.5 %, and beef, fish, and other meats are to increase by 2.5%- 3.5 %(Eira, 2020).

Having Walmart or dollar tree reveals the finances of the average American. Yearly, On average, 48 million Americans shop at Walmart, and 75 % shop due to the low prices Majority of the shoppers use SNAP benefits. Since 2014 the number of monthly benefits was lowered by 38$, which adds a burden to struggling people and living by weekly paychecks( Heller, 2014). Cheaper foods don’t necessarily mean they are healthy, and the prices are $1.50 higher than unhealthy foods. So people automatically divert to something more reasonable and affordable to stay within the budget( Eira, 2020).

2. I was not able to make it to my nearest family dollar however, I was able to look up surrounding food places located within a 5-mile radius. What I found was that the foods offered at family dollar were mostly processed and high in fat, sugar and carbohydrates. There are little no selection of vegetables with the exception of a few that may be within high-processed frozen foods. The family dollar in Humble, Texas is located in a shopping center with both sit-down and fast-food restaurants. There is also a Walmart and Costco within minutes of this shopping center where food can be purchased.

The pros of the dine-in restaurants are that they offer healthier selections of food. Cons are that these restaurants are more expensive and consume more time in comparison to the fast-food restaurants located nearby. While the Chic-Fil-A nearby offers fried and unhealthy food options, they also offer healthy alternatives such as grilled chicken breast, grilled nugget, and side salads in lieu of French fries. The option of having a Chic-Fil-A nearby is a great option for those with limited time, who still wish to eat healthier diets. Other fast-food locations offer similar to the foods offered at the local family dollar in that they are quick, but do not offer a lot of nutrition. Costco and Walmart both offer a wide array of food selections. Cons are that the majority of these foods need to be cooked. Also, to purchase foods at Costco, you have to purchase a membership potentially making this selection less than ideal for those trying to bargain shop.
3. What strategies should be used for the implementation, management, and governance of health IT systems? What resources should be considered (e.g., risks, assumptions, limitations, costs, etc.)? Explain each answer.

Bigdeli et al. (2020) makes the point that governances should be part of the Health Systems Governance Framework which includes policy makers, health service providers, and people. The strategy to use for this framework would to be all inclusive. Welcome policy makers of all disciplines to look at the health IT system and what can be put into place to make improvements on what types of policies need to be in place. Having providers from for profit and non- profit, as well as critical care, acute care and supportive clinical staff would give insight into what changes the system needs so that it is the fastest and the most effective system. Having the people who are benefiting from this system involved would make a huge step towards getting them involved in their healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

Resources to consider should be limitations of the government to overreach into the health IT system and use it to attack people or a system. Cost is a resource that needed to always be considered because it affects who can access the ability to get the system. A resource that also needs to be considered is the team that is going to take over the maintenance of the health IT system and the organization that will put limitations and cost saving measures on them without compromising safety of the system.

Bigdeli M, Rouffy B, Lane BD, et al. Health systems governance: the missing links. BMJ Global Health 2020;5:e002533. doi:10.1136/ bmjgh-2020-002533
4. A clinical decision support system (CDSS) improves healthcare delivery by enhancing medical decisions with targeted clinical knowledge, patient information, and other health information. A traditional CDSS comprises software designed to be a direct air to clinical-decision making. The characteristics of an individual patient are matched to a computerized clinical knowledge base. Patient-specific assessments or recommendations are primarily used at the point-of-care, for the clinician to combine their knowledge with information or suggestions provided by the CDSS (Sutton, 2020).

To manage and govern such systems, it needs to facilitate a scheduled review, methods for acquiring and implementing new knowledge, and streamlined processes for gathering physician feedback on the system and training users on why particular data entry and standardization of data entry practices. It is essential to identify changes in performance and use over time. In addition, the quality of the data repository should be monitored. It is also necessary to ensure that conclusions are not made beforehand on corrupted or poor-quality data (Sutton, 2020).

To provide a verifiable source of information to the user on why the recommendation exists. In addition to increasing trust, this may guide users to update their knowledge if they are unaware of the offer. Many systems also query reasons for not following advice to elucidate the source of mistrust. This is a good idea but should not be mandatory or ‘bulky’ in design (Sutton, 2020).

HR CHALLENGE: HIRE FROM WITHIN OR OUTSIDE?
Assignment Introduction
Scenario

You are a newly hired HR professional in a small private sector company that provides a broad spectrum of products for the cruise ship industry. The company repackages standard personal grooming products, perfumes, and lotions into smaller gift packages appropriate for customer appreciation gifts. There are 300 employees in the firm and the organization has a history of a stable workforce with very limited turnover. Recently, the company gained over 200 employees and there are a number of supervisory and managerial positions that need to be filled. The CEO has asked you to work with him to fill positions based on an organizational structure he has just created. It is rumored that the CEO has spoken discreetly to two internal candidates about the position and feels no need to take any action to announce the position internally. It should be noted that the employee manual specifies that all vacant positions be announced both internally and externally. New supervisors and managers are needed in sales (one), marketing (one), operations (two), and security (one). Each of these areas has seasoned employees eager to compete for jobs though some may not be as qualified as external candidates.

Your Challenge
You are now in a situation with a tough call to make. As the responsible HR professional, you must consider and decide which course of action will provide the greatest benefit for the company and its employees, and how to make a persuasive argument for your recommendation. Your options are to support the CEO’s guidance, or to take a hiring position that protects the organization’s legal posture and maintains an ethical work environment.

Assignment Instructions
Prepare a 3–4-page plan that states your recommended course of action. Along with your recommendation, include the following:

Analyze how your proposed HR solution to an HR challenge contributes to organizational goals and strategies.

Should you just follow the guidance of the CEO, or discuss the consequences of placing unqualified people in managerial roles?
If you remain silent without any further discussion, what might the implications be to you and the organization?
What is the potential opportunity cost of ignoring outstanding external candidates?
Describe key legal factors you considered in the formulation of a proposed HR solution.
Explain the role of the HR practitioner in advancing a proposed HR solution.
Briefly explain the role you will take to influence the eventual outcome. Consider aspects of leadership, negotiation, and consultation.
What pros and cons are there for promoting internally versus externally? Consider the implications to the organization and its operations when selecting from both of these populations.
Discuss the application of any SHRM behavioral competency(ies) to the process of solving an HR challenge.
Which SHRM behavioral competencies are most directly applicable to a successful resolution of this challenge, and why?

Review past research (you should have a good starting point from the Annotated Bib assignment for Module 2, and college admission essay help

Review past research (you should have a good starting point from the Annotated Bib assignment for Module 2, and continue the search for more/better articles) to build a solid foundation and support for your study. As in research articles you have read, you must, in due diligence, describe what is currently known about your topic. In particular, how do past research and existing theories inform and lead up to your particular RQ and Hypothesis? This literature review provides background and a supportive argument for your study’s RQ or Hypothesis.

As per APA style, you will label this section with the heading, Literature Review. Rely on the current edition of APA for formatting headings, supplemental chapters, and sample paper. Assuming you have laid a strong foundation in this section, you will have developed the framework of the paper.

The Lit Review is without question the most revealing section of your paper. You must describe, explain, and evaluate existing research that informs our understanding of your topic. This literature review helps justify your RQ and/or Hypothesis, which are listed at the end of this review section. Find a way to logically organize the past research chronologically, general to specific, contrast-comparison, trends, topical, problem-solution (much like you would a speech). Be careful not to quote too much – put information/research findings in your own words as much as possible.

You connect the research by linking back to the research idea you are studying.

You can present the RQ/Hypothesis in one of 2 ways: 1) display it as it emerges from the literature review, or 2) incorporate it as a total summary to the literature review. Remember that you type RQ1 and H1 (not the full words: Research Question or Hypothesis).

Citing from at least four to eight articles from scholarly peer-reviewed journals, write a 2-3 page Literature Review on your chosen research problem/ topic. Be sure to utilize the Research Proposal Template as a guide.

This assignment must be structured to conform to APA format and style standards. Feel free to ask your instructor any questions you may have.
