Part I: One Page on Introductory Points: The main introductory points pertaining to the Book in which your passage appears: for example, the Book of Genesis or the Book of Joshua or the Book of Psalms. These introductory points will ordinarily consist of the following:
a) A 2 – 3 sentence summary of the content of the entire book.
b) A short paragraph on the date of composition of the book.
c) A short paragraph on the authorship of the book.
d) A short paragraph on the main genres (or literary forms) and maybe the themes found in both your Book and your biblical passage.
Before beginning Part I of the 1st Installment, consult the document found in Canvas which is close to the top of “Modules” titled “Authorship and Genre of Old Testament Books and Passages for Your Paper and Presentation.”
If any of this seems complicated, the 1st Installment is also described in “Boudreau5” on p. 2: see Section C.
An excellent place to begin finding relevant information for this first page of the 1st Installment is in “Modules” under “Boudreau34”: the material you have been using on for Book of the Bible to complete your answers to the daily Quizzes from the beginning of the course. The commentaries will most likely add a few supplementary points of information.
The total length of Part I should be around 1 page, double-spaced with 12-point font.
Part II: Three Pages on a Verse-by-Verse Interpretation of Your Given Passage in the Book: The next 3 pages of the 1st Installment (also double-spaced with 12-point font) will shift your focus from the Book itself to the passage in the Book. It involves an interpretation of the passage with a focus on what the author or authors of the passage meant when they wrote the passage: in other words, this involves an historical-critical interpretation or exegesis of the passage. This interpretation must cover what Bible Scholars consider to be the more important verses in the passage, as you will find in the commentaries obtained from the Barry Library. (What a “Bible commentary” is and where Bible commentaries can be found in the Barry Library will be explained in class.)
The 1st Installment must center on at least three (3) historical-critical commentaries as Bibliographical references. This information must be obtained from the commentaries you have photocopied from the Barry Library. (DO NOT TAKE THE COMMENTARIES OUT OF THE LIBRARY!)
Note: Internet, online information and sources CANNOT be used in the 1st Installment.
Lastly, this 1st Installment is not about YOU! It is about what the Bible Scholars are saying concerning the interpretation of your Book and Passage. You are involved only in that you decide what items, according to the commentators, are most relevant in this 4-page scholarly interpretation of your Book and Passage. What YOU think about this Book and Passage will surface to a certain extent in the 2nd Installment, and even more likely in your Oral Presentation of the paper at the end of the semester.

This rubric is available in the right hand column of the Blog area, as well as in the course Grade Center. As well as providing well-thought-out responses to the prompts, you are expected to provide entries that demonstrate college-level writing skills; as noted in the blog rubric, grammar and spelling will count towards your grade.
Note: Each blog entry is worth 15 points, for a total of 225 points (15 points x 15 entries). There is one column in the Grade Center for your blog, so your point total will continue to grow throughout the course for this assignment. Don’t panic when, after this entry, the Grade Center might indicate that you received 45/225! It really would be 15/15 for the entry, since each entry is worth 15 points.

Your cultural identity is connected to many layers: society, country, race, ethnic group, religion, sexuality, profession, hobbies, sports, social classes, generation, and any kind of social group that has its own distinct culture. Take a moment to think about the different disciplines within the humanities, such as history, music, fine art, literature, film, and theater. How has music impacted your life? How about art, literature, or theater? Are you a reader, and if so how has literature molded who you are? Identify how these disciplines reflect your cultural identity. In your original post, Introduce yourself to the class and answer the following: Tell us about yourself and your hobbies, interests. Share the career field you are studying at ECPI and why you chose it. Then, explain how at least three (3) different examples from the humanities disciplines reflect your cultural identity. For instance, a work of literature could be anything from a book you loved as a child to a poem that speaks to you now. Include documented research about the work you have chosen. At least two (2) of your chosen examples must include a photo or a video. If you are sharing a photo, embed the photo in your post. If you are sharing a YouTube video, provide the URL and click “enter” to embed it. Keep in mind that you are in a professional academic setting. Some artistic forms of expression may be controversial, so please use good judgment about your selections. In your responses to your classmates, address the following: Share at least one thing you learned from their post. Design for Instruction – In this section you will have administered your pre assessment to analyze student performance and know what you need to address to ensure the lesson is successful for all students. This is a very important part of the TWS. What patterns did you find with your students? You will discuss each learning goal and chart to show student performance. Then discuss what students were able to do and what they were unable.
EX: The overall performance of students was much lower than expected. Majority of the students scored below 40% as indicated by the pre assessment. For goal 1 the students were to explain what their geographic area consisted of and most of the students were unable to do so. On question 10 the students did well. Just describe what you found out and how that will shape the development of your lesson. How will you continue this lesson to make sure students are reached at their level? A chart can be developed here showing the learning goals.
Remember to follow the subheadings and input information as requested in guidelines. Also look at page length at the bottom of each factor of TWS
Instructional decision Making is requesting that you show modifications you made after presenting your lesson. This is a fairly simple one. Identify the modification and discuss. Follow the subheadings. This is discussion. Adhere to directions.

English Crazy Language Essay” writing essay help: writing essay help
In approximately 300 words, reflect and respond to Richard Lederer’s “English is a Crazy Language.” In your response, address one or more of the following questions.
1. Briefly describe the rhetorical situation of the article. What do you think is Lederer’s purpose?
2. Some of the “crazy” aspects of English can be explained by the etymology of specific words. For example, Lederer tells us that “there is no egg in eggplant” and he is right. However, the name can be explained by conducting a little research. Early varieties of the eggplant in Europe were not large and purple like the ones we eat today. Rather, they were small and white or yellow, like eggs. Choose one of Lederer’s examples of “crazy” words and briefly research the etymology of that word.
3. If you speak another language, discuss some of the “crazy” things about that language.
Feel free to discuss other aspects of the article that interest or amuse you. (Discuss something in Hindi language, but written in English.)
