On the essays–DO NOT PLAGIARIZE. Use YOUR words. I understand that many of you have had little experience in writing good essays. However, they present opportunities for you to creatively synthesize the information you have read, and then analyze that info to make an argument. In other words, it’s not “just the facts,” but rather, what do they mean? The essays allow you to demonstrate both knowledge AND understanding.
An O.K. essay will not be shorter than 3 paragraphs. A really good essay will be about 5 paragraphs. Write in proper English grammar. Precision Cohesion = a good grade. Do not say, “I feel” or “I think…,” etc. It is your essay. If you express an opinion, then it goes without saying that it is your opinion. Keep quotes from the book to a bare minimum. Synthesize and summarize the text in your words as much as possible. If you make a general statement (as most paragraphs begin), provide specific examples. Arguments have evidence.
Use active, rather than passive, verbs whenever possible, keep your paragraphs lucid with one main idea throughout, do not repeat yourself, and make sure that your essay “hangs together.” General statements must be supported with concrete examples. It is okay to start with a general statement, but then back it up with specific examples.
General statement: Comic book heroes have many different origins.
Specific example: The bite of a radioactive spider turned nerd-linger Peter Parker into the Amazing Spider-man, but Superman is a powerful refugee from the planet Krypton.
DO NOT SCURRY TO WIKIPEDIA TO ANSWER YOUR ESSAYS. Believe it or not, I have Google too, and I’ve been doing this long enough to have a spidey-sense for cheating. I am not asking you to reinvent the wheel, just do your best.

The second required reading response is Michael Sandel’s “Market reasoning as moral reasoning: why economists should re-engage with political Essay custom essay help: custom essay help
The second required reading response is Michael Sandel’s “Market reasoning as moral reasoning: why economists should re-engage with political philosophy (Links to an external site.)”, which, like reading response 1, is from the Journal of Economic Perspectives. We heard then from two sociologists about how their approach to understanding racial discrimination was different from the “standard” economic approach; this time we’ll hear from a philosopher about how he sees economists’ approach to morality and why he advocates for a shift in perspective.
I placed this article in the topic 8 notes, since in that topic we’ll be taking some time to explicitly consider the ethics of neoclassical economics and a few simple examples of conceptions of fairness and wellbeing in a society. Of course, the issues that Sandel raises are relevant throughout economics, so the reading is not specifically related to material from any one topic in our course!
Just like last time, please write about 400-500 words on your reflections on the article (I don’t mind if you go slightly over the word count if you need it to complete your thoughts). And again, please don’t just summarize the article—we’d like to get your reaction and what you took from it! You can write about whatever ideas or connections came to you on reading, but here are some suggestions for things you could consider, if you need some help to get started:
What surprised you, particularly interested you, or confused you about the reading? What examples particularly stood out to you and what do you think we as economists could learn from them? What about examples from your own experience or knowledge? How does the argument of the paper compare to the type of models you’ve studied in your economics training so far (here or in other classes)? What exactly is your take on what Sandel is advocating?
Please write a short portion relating the article to the topics recently gone through in class. I have posted the slides in case you need to refer to the economics concepts that may appear in the article. Please message me if there is any more questions or clarification.

Expanded Grading Rubric
From the assigned readings, select one topic for which you will lead the discussion in the forum this week. Early in the week, reserve your selected topic by posting your response (reservation post) in the Discussion Area, identifying your topic in the subject line. By the due date assigned, research your topic and start a scholarly conversation as you respond with your initial or primary post to your own reservation post.
Some of the main topics (Dynamics Themes) this week include:
Other potential topics and subtopics exist in the readings.
Be very specific about the topic you choose (e.g., which communication theories or what it is about power that you are analyzing?). Also, now that you have begun to study several OB themes in the course, begin looking for relationships between themes from past weeks and the current week and considering how current organizational environments (e.g., globalization, technology, and change) interact with OB.
As the beginning of a scholarly conversation, your initial post should be:
Succinct—no more than 500 words.
Provocative—use concepts and combinations of concepts from the readings to propose relationships, causes, and/or consequences that inspire others to engage (inquire and learn). In other words, take a scholarly stand.
Supported—scholarly conversations are more than opinions. Ideas, statements, and conclusions are supported by clear research and citations from course materials as well as other credible, peer-reviewed resources.
The reservation post and the initial post are assessed in the rubric line item “Quality of initial posting.”
Neither the reservation post nor the initial post “count” toward days of participation.
Follow-up posts made throughout the week to your colleagues and professor will apply to participation points in the rubric.
All posts will be assessed for writing mechanics and information literacy. Be sure to review the expanded rubric for more details on grading criteria.

Efficiency of the Production Operation
Research the process of producing an expensive product (assume that it is something that must cost at least $1,000). After learning the steps that must be accomplished to produce such a product, address the following:
What would you expect the layout of a producing facility to look like (in other words, what is the process layout for such an operation)?
What would determine when someone had finished working on one of these products (in other words, how would someone know that it was time to work on producing the next unit)?
How would the efficiency of the production operation that you have envisioned be calculated (your answer should be specific to the type of product you selected, not just a general discussion of efficiency)?
From your research, are there any ways in which the production of the product could be made more efficient than the way that it is normally produced? If so, what recommendations could you make? If not, describe another way in which the product could be made, even if it was inefficient.
Justify your answers using examples and reasoning. Comment on the postings of at least two peers and state whether you agree or disagree with their views.

Of course there are at least two sides to the question of whether employers should monitor employees’ social media use. college admission essay help: college admission essay help
Of course there are at least two sides to the question of whether employers should monitor employees’ social media use. Employees have a right to the privacy of what they say, to whom, when, and through which channels (face-to-face, phone, or social media). Employers must also “be vigilant about ensuring that employees are not disclosing confidential or proprietary information through social media, or using it to harass other employees or engage in otherwise unlawful conduct,” says employment law attorney Christin Choi.
Bolstering the argument for monitoring, Nancy Flynn, director of the ePolicy Institute, says:
“It’s all too easy for disgruntled or tone deaf employees to go on to social media and criticize customers, harass subordinates and otherwise misbehave. Sometimes that can bring workplace tensions and complaints, sometimes it can damage a company’s reputation in the marketplace, and sometimes it can lead all the way to lawsuits or regulatory action.”
Consistent monitoring enables companies to catch problems early, get undesirable information off-line quickly, begin damage control, and promptly discipline employees.
In support of employee privacy, some argue that social media monitoring often becomes a malicious fishing expedition, a disguised means of undermining or even terminating employees inappropriately, such as to settle personal grudges. Employees also have been fired for posting nonwork-related content, such as religious or political views or bikini contests. Privacy advocates often concede that companies might be justified in snooping if they have a legitimate reason to do so, such as genuine suspicion of inappropriate conduct. But even in these instances, they argue that it is appropriate to investigate only what employees do on company computers and networks, not their use of personal devices and personal accounts.
If You Made Social Media Policy at Your Employer, What Would You Do?
Monitor all employees. Justify.
Never monitor employees. Justify.
Monitor selectively. If you select this, specify the conditions under which you would monitor, which employees, which devices, and with what frequency.
Invent other options and explain.
For full credit, make sure you not only post your answers to the discussion but reply to at least 2 other students. Remember to be courteous and respectful in all of your posts.

PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!!!…….. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!
Identify at least one current popular culture phenomenon and discuss its impact on society. How do you think it came to be, historically or theoretically? Identify who the intended audience is and discuss any possible issues. Are there issues with access across different groups of people? Does the phenomenon reinforce marginalization in any way and how does social construction of reality play a part? Discuss how the phenomenon is commodified and how the commodification contributes to the phenomenon’s popular success. Pull in at least two concepts/theories from chapters 1 through 4 from Szeman and O’Brien’s Popular Culture: A User’s Guide.

Public’s reception of the Marvel/DC films and shows.
Media coverage of global social movements or conflicts
Representation of different identities across film or television
Social responsibility and music
You can use any of these examples or you can discuss a phenomenon that you come up with on your own. It is key that you examine the phenomenon critically and discuss the questions/issues listed above.
For example, if you were to choose “Media coverage of global social movements or conflicts,” review how multiple sources cover similar stories. Discuss their angles and how their coverage might influence their audiences.

Your study cannot just be an increase in the number of participants or using participants of
different cultural backgrounds, genders, or ages. Studies on the topic of decreasing a
problem behavior will not be approved, as any study on this topic first requires a functional
behavior assessment (FBA) to be completed, and you will not learn about how to conduct
an FBA until you take Psy 617. Something about the procedures needs to change. See the
limitations of the study in the Discussion section of the publication you are extending for
ideas as to what you can do differently from the original article. Your study must use one of
the following single-subject research designs: (1) ABAB, (2) multiple baseline (across
participants, settings, or behaviors), (3) changing criterion, (4) multielement, or (5) a
combination of 1-4.
a. Here are some steps for how to develop your research topic:
i. Get the most recent issue of a journal (e.g., the Journal of Applied Behavior
ii. Look at all the titles to see if anything sounds interesting
iii. Pick an article that sounds interesting
iv. Read the discussion to see if any of their future ideas sounds good or
limitations sound interesting
1. If yes, develop research questions based upon that idea or limitation
(if limitation, replicate the study but fix the limitation)
2. If no, go back to step 2
v. Develop procedures from the article’s Method section.

For each of the four variables, separately list the following information, using separate headings for each variable. If the information is not available, then indicate ‘not available.’ Follow the template below for each of the variables/constructs.
State Variable Name [include dataset abbreviation if appropriate]
Definition of the Variable. Enter text here.
Source of Data. (This might be self-reported by business, self-reported by survey, observation, etc.)
Scoring of the Variable. Enter text here. For variables, this might be age in years, number of defects per quarter, group membership, etc. For constructs, this might be computation of multiple questions on a survey or multiple variables that make up the construct.
Level of Measurement. Enter text here. Below is a reminder of the measurement levels you learned in Statistics 1. Do not include the measurement level definitions in your assignment response.
Nominal. Nominal data are measured at the discrete level depicting independent categories with no underlying order. Examples of nominal data are sex, race, and organizational department membership.
Ordinal. Ordinal data are measured at the discrete level with separate categories that imply an underlying hierarchy. Examples of nominal data are education level, age groups, or simply categories of high, medium, and low. Some Likert scales may be deemed by the researcher as ordinal data.
Interval. Interval data are measured on a continuous scale with ‘equal-appearing’ intervals and without an absolute zero point. Examples of interval data are time, temperature, credit score, and test scores. Some Likert scales may be deemed by the researcher as interval data.
Ratio. Ratio data are measured on a continuous scale with equal intervals and an absolute zero point. Examples of ratio data are age, income, and defects per lot. A researcher may deem an otherwise ratio data as interval if, for purposes of the research, the measurement level truncates the zero point or otherwise holds a floor or ceiling effect.
Score Range and Interpretation. Enter text here. Include the total possible range of scores for the variable and how to interpret the range. The score range and interpretation might be ‘Six-point Likert scale with ‘1’ meaning “Not Satisfied at All,” and ‘6’ meaning ‘Completely Satisfied;’ or perhaps a four-point ordinal scale with ‘1’ meaning no use, ‘2’ meaning little use, ‘3’ meaning moderate use, and ‘4’ meaning a lot of use. For nominal variables that form a discrete category then identify the coding scheme, for example 1 = male; 2 = female.
Enter text here. Describe advantages, disadvantages, challenges, and benefits that you feel may should be considered if you were to use an archived dataset for your dissertation research study.

Specifically describe the components of each meal that you would eat. You do not need to include exact measurements but a brief explanation of why you chose certain foods should be included.
When it comes to developing an exercise and fitness plan, it takes careful and strategic planning. One of the first steps is determining your fitness parameters. But determining your fitness parameters is not just important in creating a personal fitness plan. In what types of professional careers might determining one’s own fitness parameters be an important step to take and why? Try to address at least two of the points the unit makes about determining your physical parameters.
Assessment is an important part of fitness, and the same idea can be applied to many other areas of our lives. What are some other areas of your life that could benefit from periodic assessment? Keeping this in mind, imagine that you’re a long-distance runner and have recently suffered a knee injury. You can no longer run, or even walk, without a knee brace and crutches. What are some ways that you would channel your energy and stay fit even though you can no longer run, jog, or walk unassisted? What are some ways that you would cope with the emotional aspect of this injury? Use specific examples of coping mechanisms from the unit.
9.Many people feel that being overly focused on personal fitness can lead to unhealthy body expectations, eating disorders, or a skewed self-image. How might some of these negative side effects occur if someone was to become too obsessed with personal fitness? Elaborate on some of the possible negative outcomes mentioned–unhealthy body expectations, eating disorders, or a skewed self-image–and how they could be avoided.

What would be some important first steps for you to take? Describe what your personal fitness motivations, goals, and concerns would be.
15.Unit 8 says, “Pushing yourself to do things that enhance your well-being doesn’t always feel attractive or fun—sometimes it’s just a lot of hard work.” What are some other things that you have had to push yourself to do in life to enhance your well-being? How did these things enhance your well-being and why were they such hard work?
16.Maintaining a lifelong fitness regimen can be challenging. Describe some possible reasons that maintaining a fitness routine might be a struggle for a college student, a new mom, and a retired 65-year-old man.
17.Technology has become such a huge part of our lives. What are some ways that increased technology use has negatively impacted personal fitness? What are some ways that it has enhanced personal fitness? Explain.
18.Consider this claim, “Working with a teammate or partners to achieve fitness goals is better than working individually.” Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Please elaborate and explain.
19.Imagine that you were born without the ability to see; you are blind and have been since birth. How might this change your own personal body image? Do you think your body image would be more positive or negative than it is now? Why?
20.We all have a unique body composition that we must take into account in terms of our fitness. Consider your own personal body composition. Evaluate aspects of your body composition and how they impact your weight, personal fitness plan, and fitness goals. Discuss how these aspects of your body composition make you feel.

Business and Technical Communication Midterm Exam The midterm exam for this class will eventually serve as the first half custom essay help
Business and Technical Communication Midterm Exam
The midterm exam for this class will eventually serve as the first half of your final exam, so though it will seem like a project that is only half done, it will be completed at the end of the semester.
For the midterm you will begin your research on the communication of an organization that serves a large-scale population. This means companies that are local to one city or state alone will not qualify for the project. The reason being that you will be comparing the communication these organizations have with their different populations. The goal for this half of the project is to simply develop a set of examples for the organization following the list below and explain what the example is. You will develop your midterm exam as a word document using an APA cover page, citing your examples appropriately in the document, and including a reference page. Your analysis of the examples will be saved for future papers and the final exam.
The specific instructions for the exam are below:
APA Cover page
Select your organization and write about the history of the organization as a whole.
Explain the populations that the organization serves and select 2-3 different populations to use for your exam. These populations can be different countries they are in, the age groups they serve, vegan or vegetarian versus not, or another factor that may be unique to your company.
So, for example, if I selected McDonald’s as my example, I would explain the different countries they exist in, the different menu items they serve for their different populations (based on age or region), and perhaps the different age groups they serve, and if they have options for special diets. Identify each population you want to look at specifically (i.e. I will investigate communication McDonald’s uses for children in Holland vs the United States, adults from the same regions, and what they sell as health options in each region.) Quick note, if you are selecting a business like McDonald’s you do not have to list every country/city they are in but can streamline your information and state what regions/continents they are in and maybe say if there is a place specifically in the region that will not let them in.
From there I would proceed to the next item on the list.
For this one you are going to select the different ways they serve your 2-3 populations. These would take the form of explanations of and include things like print advertisements, menus, promotions they link to in different areas, etc. (i.e. what does McDonald’s sell in Happy Meals in the US versus another country to entice kids to buy their meals).
Make sure to include the images, what the image represents in detail, where the image if from, and the citation that goes along with the information.
You will need 2-3 examples of communication to each type of demographic as well as their counterpart in the different region. So, for example, if one of my populations are the children in Holland and in the US, I would have 2-3 examples of promotions for the children in each country equating to 4-6 examples for these demographics.
The easiest way to do this research is to look at the websites for the different countries. Google and Google translate can help with explaining what you are reading if needed.
Once you have the examples completed, you will simply move to the reference page and you are done with the exam.
If you have any questions, please do ask and ask often. You will have two weeks to complete the midterm. The midterm is due Sunday March 13th at 11:59 PM.

Write about 4 pages/1,400 words (double-spaced, 12pt font) on the following topic:
In Problema I and II of Fear and Trembling, Kierkegaard argues that our ethical duties
may be suspended in the pursuit of “absolute” (religious) duties. Explain how he arrives
at this conclusion through his analysis of Abraham as a knight of faith, and then offer
commentary on whether you think Abraham was justified in so acting.
Your essay should offer an accurate and nuanced analysis of Abraham’s faith and trial (by,
e.g., analyzing the righteous and ethical interpretations, and/or explaining Abraham’s
paradox of will); your essay should explain why Abraham is not a tragic hero, nor an
aesthetic individual, and should explain and contrast the aesthetic, ethical, and religious
ways of life. Finally, do you agree that there exist “higher” non-ethical duties (religious or
otherwise) that warrant suspending our ethical duties? You may answer this question
through an analysis of Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac or through another example. In any
case, you should provide an argument (pro or con) whether you think Abraham (or
persons generally) are ever justified in suspending their ethical duties to satisfy non-
ethical commitments. In other words, your thesis should address the following question:
Is the highest goal or purpose of human life to live ethically?

Example of memo: Writer’s Memo:
I had a blast writing Major Paper 1 because I had such a strong personal connection with the topic. I recall being so amazed and fascinated with Coca-Cola commercials after visiting the World of Coke. So when I heard the prompt for Major Paper 1, I knew immediately that I wanted to further analyze Coca-Cola commercials and uncover the clever marketing strategies the producers used. I had difficultly analyzing the strategies the producers used critically and converting the emotions I felt into words. In the first drafts of the paper I felt myself wanting to say, “Just watch watching these commercials and you’ll understand the feelings I’m talking about”. But I quickly realized that I would need to do much more analysis. In the later drafts, I was able to pin point specific strategies the commercial producers used, such as the dramatic sip trope, the setting of the commercials, and the age of the actors. And through defining these specific strategies I was able to articulate the individual feelings felt as a result of each commercial element, and how those elements all combine together to make the viewers feel the way they feel. To fulfill Outcome 1 more completely, I found myself, as a writer, incorporating different writing strategies to voice my claim alongside analyzing the strategies used in the commercial.
Outcome 1 asks us to effectively identify strategies writers incorporate into their medium to help emphasize their claim. Major paper 1, not only helped me analyze strategies commercial producers use by identifying a medium and trope, but it also allowed me to demonstrate the usage of different writing strategies as writer. Within the genre of Coca-Cola commercials, I identified and clearly defined a trope, the dramatic Coca-Cola sip. I defined characteristics of this scene being, “shot with one person” whose eyes “are always gently closed”, while the background of the scene is “slightly faded out and brightly lit, by the sunset or sunrise”. I went on further to describe that the producer’s strategically substituted Coca-Cola products whenever possible in order to “make Coca-Cola a must have, affordable accessory to any middle class family”. As a writer, I used a personal anecdotes as a strategy in my paper. I recalled that when I visited the World of Coca-Cola, “I felt a surge of emotions roll through every nerve in my body”. I also used descriiptively described by experience in Atlanta by comparing the temperature to the “Sahara Desert” and using a hyperbole of the melting of “our shoes”. By employing these strategies I was able to hook my reader’s attention, and establish a personal connection with my readers through sharing a personal experience.
Throughout the revision process of the paper, I made changes to organizational structure and paragraph placement in order to make my points flow effectively and smoothly. For example, I decided to introduce the occurrence of the theme song, Taste the Feeling, in my introduction paragraph in order to help strengthen the credibility of my paper earlier, instead of having it go directly after my analysis of the trope. Additionally, I found myself elaborating and clarifying more on my final draft compared to my rough draft. For instance, before, I listed out all the times Coca-Cola was present in the commercial but I didn’t take it a step further as to elaborate on what this means. In my final draft I point out that the constant presence of Coke works to make Coke a “must have, affordable accessory”. I also clarified my personal anecdote in the hook of my paper. I removed sentences that talked about my experience at the museum that didn’t exactly related to the viewing of the short film, because it detracted readers from my claim.
All in all, Outcome 1 not only improved my skills in analysis of other writer’s works in their medium, but it also helped me think about specific strategies to use in my own work as a writer. By deepening my analysis of the trope, the dramatic sip, and also adding a published source that arguing for my claim, I helped further and bring deeper understanding to my paper. I definitely know a lot more about Coca-Cola commercials, and how to articulate my thoughts about them compared to that day in Atlanta. These skills of identifying different writing strategies, and applying them will definitely aid my endeavors in future research papers for numerous classes at the University.

Using your artifact, write a 3-4 page essay in which you choose three of the following elements of descriiptive analysis (tone, persona, structure, supporting materials, other strategies) and explain how the rhetor strategically uses each element in the speech to achieve his/her purpose. Please note that a successful essay will 1) identify and describe the purpose of the speech before proceeding to the descriiptive analysis, and 2) use ample textual evidence from the speech. Please cite quotations from the speech parenthetically by referring to speech paragraph and include a full citation at the end of the essay.
An essential skill when creating a piece of rhetorical criticism is effective communication of ideas. Therefore, use of standard English, proper grammar, correct spelling and use of effective communication skills are required for this course. All written and oral presentations will be evaluated for communication skills. All
assignments outside of class must be typed (1 inch margins, 12 point font Times New Roman or Calibri, double spaced) unless otherwise directed.
Writing an argumentative essay, you argue for a specific idea. You analyze and quote other authors to support your argument. In a RHETORICAL ANALYSIS you analyze and cite ONLY ONE SOURCE. You do not have to agree/disagree with the author’s position or provide counterarguments to what he says.

Unfortunately, not everybody sees it that way, and being diverse and inclusive in the workplace is often more challenging in practice than it is in theory.
Diversity has many dimensions, including the following.
Race and ethnicity
For this assignment, you will respond to one of the following workplace scenarios.
Scenario 1: Challenging Hiring Decision
You are on the hiring committee for a key role in your organization. After a thorough and lengthy process, the committee has narrowed the field to two final candidates: Candidate A and Candidate B. The interview process has concluded, and now it is time to make a decision. Will you hire Candidate A or Candidate B?
Both Candidate A and Candidate B meet all of the requirements for hiring in terms of education and experience. That said, Candidate A went to a more prestigious university than Candidate B, and Candidate A also has slightly more job experience than Candidate B. In the interview process, both candidates answered the questions very well, demonstrating high levels of knowledge. Candidate A was a bit smoother and more confident, but Candidate B occasionally hesitated before responding but also seemed more genuinely enthusiastic. Candidate A is a traditional applicant, and Candidate B is from a historically underrepresented minority.
Later today you will be meeting with the hiring committee to make the final decision. Your task is to write a short message to share with the rest of the hiring committee in which you recommend hiring either Candidate A or Candidate B. Be sure to explain which factors were most important to you.
Scenario 2: Diversity in Advertising
You work for a company that produces a variety of popular and tasty breakfast cereals, and you spend a good deal on television and web-based advertising. In your ads, you strive for diversity of all kinds; however, one recent advertisement generated controversy. In it, a happy family with two mothers, a young son, and a toddler daughter are shown eating breakfast and engaging in lighthearted antics. Bits of cereal are tossed about, milk is spilled, and so on.
In response, members of an organization representing what they refer to as “traditional family values” have written numerous messages of protest and have posted them on social media. They feel that this portrayal of a nontraditional family is “morally wrong” and they are threatening to boycott your company.
Your task is to write a response to this organization and to post it on your website as well as your official social media platform sites. Your goal is not to engage in a war of words with this organization, but simply to make it clear that your company values diversity, and that you will continue to portray that diversity in your advertising materials.
Whether you choose Scenario 1 or Scenario 2, the length requirement for this message should be about the same—no more than one page.
Exploring the Influence of the APA Within the Psychology Profession Prior to beginning work on this discussion, read the Schantz (2014) A Young Scholar’s Guide to Building a Professional Network (Link essay help: essay help
) article, review the Divisions listed on the APA website (Links to an external site.) paying special attention to the divisions that may interest you, and review the O*Net Online (Links to an external site.) website .
In your initial post, identify one division related to your career interest that you would consider joining and one specific job related to that division. Conduct a search on your chosen job using O*Net Online (Links to an external site.). Briefly elaborate on the information provided on the job you searched, and be sure to include educational requirements, duties, future outlook, and salaries related to the position. Use the Internet to search for and compile information about the leading employer prospects for this position in your geographical area. Compare and contrast the compiled information with that from O* Net. Include expected duties, number of job offerings found, educational requirements, job experience, and salary levels where applicable. Analyze psychology as a profession and assess the role the APA could play in aiding you in the development of a professional network. Briefly detail an initial plan for building your professional network as well as obtaining your selected job. If your job of interest requires licensure, detail the requirements from your State Board of Professional Psychology or respective professional field since the Master of Arts in Psychology is not a licensure program and does not prepare an individual to become a licensed psychology professional
Prior to beginning work on this discussion, read the Fisher (2009) article, “Replacing ‘Who is the Client?’ With a Different Ethical Question” and the APA’s (2017) Ethical Principles of Psychologists essay help free
) paying special attention to standard 3.11.
Informed consent is an important ethical component of research and practice. It is not, however, always sufficient or appropriate for consulting, program evaluation, job effectiveness assessment, or other psychological services delivered to or through organizations because it does not always address all the necessary elements of a given situation. These facts do not negate our responsibility as psychology professionals to inform clients and those who may be impacted by our services. In the discussion you will address these issues through the following case study.
You are an industrial organizational (I/O) psychologist and have been hired to evaluate a company’s “Work From Home” policy to see if it has increased company production. In addition to a review of the employee records, the evaluation needs to include interviews with supervisors and employees on the value and limits of the policy. Since informed consent as typically considered in clinical, counseling, and research settings will not be sufficient in this instance, you will need to inform all supervisors and employees about your services.
In your initial post,
Briefly analyze and define who the clients are in this case study.
Assess your professional role as the I/O psychologist and your responsibility to the clients as defined.
Apply the APA’s (2017) Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (Links to an external site.)to this scenario, specifically addressing what information should be provided to all supervisors and employees.
Explain how you would disseminate this information and ensure understanding amongst all stakeholders. Elaborate on how you would establish trust with the employees, protect employee identities, and ensure the results are used in an ethical manner.

Tips and Tricks Choose the tool for your illustration wisely, and get to know it a bit before you select it. Most software comes with built in tutorials. Options to use are not limited to but may include: Canva Adobe Illustrator (use the free trial) LucidChart Vectr Prezi Free hand (use the classroom MakerSpace resources, or ask Mr. Weisbrod if there’s something you may need). Note that Google Slides is absent from the list above. There are many reasons for this, which I will be happy to share with you if asked. For now however, refrain from using Google Slides as your software. Proof-read your work. Give it to a peer to proofread. Do not not do this. Your work should be your own. You can brainstorm with a partner, but your work should be unique. Although most students may agree on certain events as staple landmarks in the book, each individual’s rationale for selection of the choice will be unique. While you can choose a predetermined template to use through your software of choice, bear in mind that it may provide certain limitations to your assignment. E.g. unable to add graphics, alter the template to fit your needs. Be mindful of this before starting. Bring what you need to complete the assignment to class. Have fun!

Argument for the limitation of the study:
• Making a connection of having the background in interior design (a degree in interior design) there’s this interesting overlap between architecture and interior design and the reason I find it very interesting is because my background is in both of these areas Helps the reader understand why I am looking at the interiors (understand the zones and spaces) and tying it up to the architecture.
• Why is the study done in Newcastle? (regional)(the recent NSW Government Architect publication – it makes a case for regions to develop their own climatic and cultural responses) the importance of the region an argument that I am looking in Newcastle but not Sydney for example
• Why looking at only the past 5 years? Wanting to be involved in now the current built and wanting to be a part of it and what going to building in the next year. (Contemporary time not interested in the past)
• Why looking at contemporary apartments?
• Why looking at floor plans? Looking at it at an organizational level between the zones and spaces within a house in apartment building. Spatial argument maybe looks at spaces syntax we they use floor plans as well in their study by analysing the plans.
• Why looking at 1–2-bedroom apartments? Smaller houses create greater demands on the adaptability of spaces, so their evaluation in particular has become a focus of this study (we can’t use we’re not including large houses in apartment building and that’s because they already have a lot of space that can be adaptable. Need to be more positive in the way of saying things instead of saying why not looking at larger apartments) looking at smaller ones because they are affordable making an argument for smaller apartments
• Why looking at only 5 lifestyle patterns (single-couple-children-visitors or an office-privacy separated teenager) example -investigating whether houses in apartments building can facilitate the independent living home office but it may not be good to facilitate children. Not interested in their personal lives but more what they need as spaces facilitated their 5 different lifestyle patterns. People after Covid see more values towards their houses and people are spending more time in their houses.
• Some house with IOP can be highly adaptable being separated into to house and so just convert a space next to the entrance into an office. Given a floor plan and seeing if it’s striped to a naked apartment how the spaces will be divided based on the characteristics on that floor plan. Will it be just adding an office or could the floor plan be separate to two individual houses. Some floor plans are better than others with facilitated IOP
• Looking at apartment regulation of NSW; not changing the external appearance, structure, fire or the services in the apartment building but we can take down the unstructured unfixed walls inside the house in the apartment building. There are no regulations that states that I can’t do that. But needs to be close the toilet.
Everything needs to relate to the abstract
Abstract updated: This research evaluates (measures) the extent to which IOP exists within unfitted houses in apartment buildings in Newcastle Australia built within 5 years and shows how IOP can be better facilitated within existing and new apartments. The potential of IOP can be brought through the unfixed furniture to adapt to the changing lifestyle patterns of its occupants within time, where through the unfixed furniture (cabinets, partitions, folded beds, benches) in the house within the apartment building it can be able to be modified and arranged in more intuitive and spontaneous ways to adapt to those changes within time. The changes within time are like single-couple-having kids-people come to visit-kids move out, turn it into an office facilitating the 5 different lifestyle patterns.
