No Title Essay College Admissions Essay Help

This a homework assignment that consist of first reading chapter 12 (E-textbook log in details provided below) and an article that I attached below in the file(s) section. After reading BOTH texts, write a critical recap/summary in your own words of AT LEAST 400 words MINIMUM and then respond to one other peer summary in at least 200 words or more in a comprehensive and deep manner, not just basic agreements but context as to why you may disagree/agree with their response/thoughts/point of view. I ask the writer to complete the chapter 12 and article recap/summary (400 words) for me first so I can then provide my peer’s response because in order for me to see their response, I would have to submit my response first in my online class discussion post board. Chapter 12 and the article recap/summary should be sent to me before the deadline. Lastly, my professor is very strict with the word count. If it’s less than the word count (200 words for Chapter 12 recap/summary, 200 words for the article recap/summary and 200 words for response to peer) then he will automatically give me a 0!

***Chose any Film***

PAPER TOPIC: I am providing the students with two options for their paper. First option is Analysis of Psychopathology in Popular Film, and the second, is Analysis of Psychopathology in a piece of literary work. Both, Literature and Popular media and films are a rich source of material addressing psychopathology and mental illness. You will be asked to view a relevant film or read a work of Literature. Then, I would like students to write a paper that addresses a number of relevant themes including the following:

1) A comprehensive descriiption of psychopathology (symptoms) or particular Psychopathological dynamics (Oedipus complex, Existential Angst) depicted, including a formal DSM/ICD diagnosis of the protagonist or main character. This should include specific and relevant symptoms and biographical information that indicates how the person displays these dynamics or meets criteria for a particular mental disorder.

2) Identify a minimum of 3 SCENES either in the film or story that best the above points.

3) A reflection on the positive and negative messages that the film or story portray regarding the particular disorder or psychological dynamics.

4) Discussion of how well or poorly the movie or Literary work characterizes the particular form(s) of psychopathology depicted.

You will choose the movie or literary work you want to write the paper on, please don’t flood my inbox with questions regarding what movie or book to choose.. For film suggestions, please refer to the “Psychology and Films Links” section below in the syllabus, but you can use ANY film with a psychopathological content. For literary works, there are plenty of choices, both classical and modern, and you may want to do a web-search for specifics. A very short list of authors I do like are as follows: Sophocles, St Augustine, Avicenna, Shakespeare, Cervantes, Goethe, some of the Russian novelists are great (Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekov), Robert Louis Stevenson, American novelists (Fitzgerald, Steinbeck, etc), many mystery novels from Agatha Christy or Arthur Conan Doyle, and many others. You may also choose a biography in lieu of a novel, but you need to check with me on that one.

The paper should be written using APA format ONLY, and it should be minimum 2,500 and no longer than 4,000 words long NOT counting title page and bibliography. The paper has to have a title page, followed by an Abstract in which summarizes the main idea of your paper. Then you should have an introduction followed by the main body of your paper where you cover numbers 1-4 above each section subtitled. Finally it needs to have a Conclusion and a Bibliography (I expect 6 citations of which at least three are from peer review Journals). Therefore your paper outline should be as follows and I expect to see those sections clearly indicated in your paper:

Title Page
Abstract
Introduction
Descriiption of Psychopathology
Descriiption of 3 scenes.
Characterization
Positive and Negative messages
Conclusion
Bibliography
If you have never written an APA style paper I suggest you consult your Librarian for guidance or information on APA style or check in the Web as there are many resources for you there.

Cousins Maine Lobster

Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis launched Cousins Maine Lobster as a food truck in southern California. Would you purchase a franchise from this fast-growing franchisor?

Some of the fondest memories that cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac have of their childhood days near Portland, Maine, are family picnics that featured fresh, locally caught lobster and lobster rolls. Eventually, both Tselikis and Lomac moved away, Tselikis to Boston and Lomac to Los Angeles. In 2011, Tselikis flew to the West Coast to visit his cousin, and over drinks one evening, the two began reminiscing about the wonderful fresh lobster meals they had enjoyed as kids. They also noted the popularity of food trucks and decided to pool their resources to launch a side business, Cousins Maine Lobster, that would serve lobster flown in from Maine in the form of lobster rolls (chunks of lobster meat served on split-top rolls topped with butter), lobster tacos, lobster bisque, and clam chowder. They invested $20,000 of their own money, bought a food truck, and began outfitting it as a rolling lobster wagon. In April 2012, on their first day in business, Tselikis and Lomac saw a line of customers that wrapped around the block. Business was so brisk that they ran out of food, and they knew that they were on to a business with real potential. Within six months, they quit their jobs to run the business as a full-time venture.

Local media coverage led to an appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, where the cousins pitched their idea to the sharks and endured intense questioning. During the eight weeks leading up to the show, Tselikis and Lomac practiced their elevator pitch, reviewed their company’s financials to come up with a value for the business, and rehearsed answers to the questions they thought the sharks might ask. At the end of their segment, Barbara Corcoran agreed to invest $55,000 in return for 15 percent of the company (which established a value of $367,667 for Cousins Maine Lobster). Corcoran proved to be a valuable investor, helping Tselikis and Lomac land appearances on national television shows, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, Master Chef, and others, and helping them realize that franchising would be the ideal way to expand their business. Although Tselikis and Lomac had never envisioned franchising when they started Cousins Maine Lobster, they began working with the Franchise Development Group to create the Franchise Disclosure Document that the Federal Trade Commission requires every franchisor to provide to prospective franchisees. Because they had been operating their food trucks, which now numbered four, for only a year, they spent many long days developing training manuals and courses for franchisees. They were still learning about payroll, insurance, and maintaining quality control and were busy opening an e-commerce division focused on shipping lobster and other seafood products directly to customers across the country.

Once their Franchise Disclosure Document was completed, Tselikis and Lomac made a follow-up appearance on Shark Tank, where they announced that they were selling Cousins Maine Lobster franchises. Their appearance garnered more than 1,000 inquiries from would-be franchisees, and the flood of applications continues. Franchise Development Group conducts the initial screening of the applications, before Tselikis and Lomac interview the remaining applicants either by phone or Skype. They make the final decision about awarding franchises only after meeting candidates in person at one of the company’s discovery days in Los Angeles. Every potential franchisee spends time in one of the company-owned food trucks, and Tselikis and Lomac have learned to include the chef’s opinions in their final decisions about awarding franchises, pointing out that they are almost always right about which candidates will be successful. Currently, the company, which generates $20 million in annual sales, has 20 food trucks in 13 cities across the United States, with more on the way, including some in international markets. Cousins Maine Lobster estimates that franchisees’ total investment ranges from $143,000 to $345,000. Franchisees pay an upfront franchise fee of $38,500, an ongoing royalty fee of 8 percent of their gross sales, and a 2 percent advertising fee. Looking back, Tselikis and Lomac say that although their journey into franchising has presented a steep learning curve and that relinquishing control to franchisees can be disconcerting, they are extremely satisfied with the path they have taken and the results so far.

Questions

1.) Suppose that your best friend is considering purchasing a franchise such as Cousins Maine Lobster. What advice would you give him or her about the right way to go about purchasing a franchise?

2.) What advantages do entrepreneurs who purchase a franchise get? What disadvantages do they encounter?

3.) What is the Franchise Disclosure Document? How can it help prospective franchisees evaluate the various franchise operations in which they are considering investing?

Calculating Binomial Probabilities – Suppose you work for an airline and you are taking reservations for a flight on college essay help: college essay help

Calculating Binomial Probabilities – Suppose you work for an airline and you are taking reservations for a flight on an aircraft that has 152 seats. You know, based on historical flights trends, that if you sell a single ticket there is a 91% chance that the person with the ticket will actually show up for the flight. You decide to try to make a little extra money by overbooking your flight and you sell 160 tickets hoping that not more than 152 people will actually show up for the flight (note: this is a common business practice!

Explain how this scenario meets the four requirements in the definition of a Binomial Distribution (page 219)

Identify what n and p are in this example

Use technology (StatCrunch, Statdisk, or Excel) to calculate the probability that if you sell 160 tickets for your flight, more passengers will show up than there are seats available (again, the plane has 152 seats total, so you are finding the probability that more than 152 people show up for the flight).

Post your images directly inside the body of your submission (no external attachments!)

Based on this probability, do you think it is a wise business practice to oversell your flight in this manner? Explain.

Using the data set that you identified in week 1, use Excel to find the following descriptive statistics for the price data.

Descriptive statistics:

Mean

Median

Standard Deviation

Use these summary statistics to make two conclusions or observations about the typical vehicle in the sample. One conclusion must relate to the measure of center (mean/median) and one to the variability (standard deviation) of the vehicles.

Next, add an 11th vehicle to the data set. Choose a “supercar” that costs at least $1 million. Recalculate the summary statistics to include this vehicle.

Descriptive statistics:

Mean

Median

Standard Deviation

Which summary statistics were affected the most by the addition of this outlier? How were they changed, and were you surprised by the results?  I encourage you to review the Week 2 descriptive statistics PDF at the bottom of the discussions.  This will give you a step by step example on how to calculate these values using Excel. I DO NOT recommend doing this by hand.  Let Excel do the heavy lifting for you.

Once you have posted your initial discussion, you must reply to at least two other learner’s post. Each post must be a different topic. So, you will have your initial post from one topic, your first follow-up post from a different topic, and your second follow-up post from one of the other topics. Of course, you are more than welcome to respond to more than two learners.”

Instructions: You must respond to at least 2 other students outside your initial thread. Responses may include direct questions. In your peer posts, consider the summary statistics of your classmates’ data sets. After the supercar was added to the data set, which summary statistic do you think more accurately reflects the typical vehicle price – the mean or median? Compare the standard deviation before the supercar was added and after it was added. Does this indicate greater variability in the original or modified data set? Based on this information, do you feel the standard deviation can help you identify the presence of an outlier? Why or why not? In your responses, refer to the specific data from your classmates’ posts.  Make sure you include your data set in your initial post as well.

CCJ2650 – CHAP 12 cheap essay help

The House Judiciary Committee passed a bill 10/6/2011 that would make it a federal crime for U.S. residents to discuss or plan activities on foreign soil that, if carried out in the U.S., would violate the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) — even if the planned activities are legal in the countries where they’re carried out. “Under this bill, if a young couple plans a wedding in Amsterdam, and as part of the wedding, they plan to buy the bridal party some marijuana, they would be subject to prosecution,” said Bill Piper, director of national affairs for the Drug Policy Alliance.

• Should the U.S. government punish American citizens traveling in foreign countries for committing acts that are legal in those countries but illegal here?

• Should the U.S. legalize drugs that are legalized in other countries?

• Should the U.S. follow European countries in how they treat addicts?

The Response paper is brief, consisting of two paragraphs.

Total length should be approximately one (1) to one and a half (1.5) pages total. IT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 1.5 PAGES

Paragraph one should be your summary of your feelings of the piece that you are writing about and paragraph two should be your argument with supporting evidence. “Supporting evidence” refers to specific examples from classroom lectures and/or videos of shows that you may be writing about.

Follow these five instructions. Keep in mind that the grading rubric includes the criteria called “Organization” which means “…following the provided guidelines.”

1) Put the following information in the upper left-hand corner of the first page

Name
Theatre Class [for example, THEA241-010]
Question #

Email Address

2) Give your RP an interesting title. This is the place to be creative in an attempt to draw the reader into your text. The title should be centered above the first paragraph.

3) You will respond according to the following template, numbering both sections:

Section 1. Summarize your personal and general experience with the readings, performance, or concept involved in your chosen question (How did it make you feel? Did you agree or disagree with its ideas, characters, styles, or qualities? Did it resonate with anything in your personal life? Was it difficult or easy to experience and why?). Feel free to use an informal writing style and first person. [125-150 words]

Section 2. Provide an argument (i.e. convince the reader of your answer) in response to your selected question in one paragraph using the following writing structure. The degree to which you are successful in following these guidelines will be reflected in your grade.

Thesis sentence —the “thesis statement” of your paragraph or what you intend to prove, including all of the pertinent information that may be involved in answering the question (like the play or performance involved, your key terms, and your assertion regarding the question).

Lead-in sentence(s) —one or two sentences that establishes the context for the evidence you provide.

Evidence sentence(s) —the specific example or examples from the class experience or performance that best helps you answer the question.

Analysis and Conclusion —this is the longest part of the paragraph, explaining what the evidence means and how it applies to your assertion and other aspects of the question.

Use a formal writing style, and do your best to avoid first person. [1 paragraph -250-300 words]

4) You have only a small amount of space so express each of your ideas succinctly. In other words, be direct and get to the point. Using vague, general language to express an idea weakens a paper.

* Every time you use the title of a play, like Romeo and Juliet, it should be italicized or underlined.
* Grammar and punctuation matter. Re-read and review your paper before submitting. Many mistakes, especially spelling, could easily be avoided by using spell check.
* Use action verbs.
* Vary sentence structure and length.
* Make your margins 1 inch on all sides and double space your text.

5) You will submit your RP as a Word or PDF attachment on Canvas on or before the due date and time before the assignment closes. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PAPER FROM YOUR SMARTPHONE.

When I was in university, Samuel Becket’s Waiting for Godot, while having been published for years, was still newish.  We had no clue.  There was no internet and the literary magazines had not grasped the play.  We were also unworldly in the main, so all of this nonsense was nonsense – except that play is a comment on life – a life most of us did not know.

This is to say I have empathy for you as you work with The Hut on the Mountain. The author experienced acute political pressures. Her parents were on the wrong side politically. All suffered. In the greater sense, the government also saw that familial unity undergirded individuals.  If a government could dismantle those relationships and respect, then it would be easier to control vast numbers of people. People under pressure can break.

Read the material, Understand or gain an awareness of psychological “warfare.”

An effective way to understand the work is to see thematic and symbolic relationships. Please copy the following chart and attempt to discern how the symbols function. Give it a fair effort. Apply what I have shared here and on the site. I seek critical thinking.  This is not how many you get right.  It is how you think.

The goal is salient, focused, pertinent ideas.  Do not “pad.”  Paragraphs are not sought.  Sentences are not sought.   Applause if you can narrow to essential words, phrases. If you can add a quoted sentence or phrase to support your view – so much the better. Work with the symbols included. Add 11-15.

Using the information below what could a security professional do to prevent this situation or use this information in a defense?

Fitness trackers are all the rage. But how secure is the data that these devices accumulate and transmit? And should we even care?

A relatively new class of mobile technology consists of devices that can be worn by the user instead of carried. Known as wearable technology, these devices can provide even greater flexibility and mobility. As the cost of wearable technology has decreased while the network speed of the devices has increased, sales of this technology have dramatically risen. Wearable device shipments worldwide totaled 26 million units in 2014 and increased 173 percent the following year to 72 million units. It is estimated that wearable device shipments worldwide will reach 175 million by 2020.

The most common type of wearable technology is a fitness tracker. These devices typically monitor movements by counting steps and distance traveled, record heart rates, provide location data, give alerts of incoming email, calls, or text messages, and even monitor sleep patterns. Another type of wearable technology is a smartwatch. This device can serve as an accessory to a smartphone so that users can easily glance at the watch to view messages without the need to remove the smartphone from a bag or pocket. The device also may have its own set of sensors and software features to function independently.

And as the technology continues to advance, fitness trackers are becoming that much more powerful. A project by the National Institutes of Health and the Berkeley Sensor and Actuator Center has recently designed a tracker that measures multiple chemicals in the user’s persperation and then calibrates the data according to the wearer’s body temperature. These “sweat trackers” check for lactate and glucose (the chemicals that are produced when our bodies burn fuel) as well as the electrolytes sodium and potassium (the chemicals that are needed to retain water). Too much lactate during a workout may indicate muscle fatigue, while low levels of potassium may mean dehydration is starting to occur.

But wait, there’s more. There is now a digital Bluetooth-based home pregnancy test. According to the vendor, the “[pregnancy test] stick syncs securely to the . . . app on the users’ mobile device via a small, low-power and disposable Bluetooth Smart module . . . The app offers step-by-step assurance through the testing process, as well as a three-minute countdown to the result. During this three-minute wait, the user is offered a variety of options to help ease anxiety . . . After three minutes, the test result will appear on the test stick, and can be displayed on the mobile device after a secure code is entered.”

So with all of this user fitness and health data being collected and transmitted, is it secure? Canadian researchers looked at fitness-tracking devices and their companion mobile apps from eight different fitness device manufacturers. All the devices, with the exception of the Apple Watch, transmitted a persistent and unique Bluetooth identifier, meaning that the user could be tracked by the beacons, even when the device is not paired with or connected to a smartphone. In addition, the companion smartphone apps for the wearables either exposed login authentication credentials transmitted the tracking information that allowed for a man-in-the-middle interception attacker, or allowed users to submit fake activity tracking information. And what security steps were taken were half-hearted. One fitness app used HTTPS only when the user was logging in with her password, but all other data was sent without any encryption, so that a snooper could easily read or alter the data.

Does it matter? Yes. Some health insurers are now using fitness tracker data to offer lower healthcare insurance premiums. And courts have admitted fitness app data as evidence in several cases. And imagine the ads you would receive once advertisers got their hands on your activity data. And think of what a stalker could do if he knew the route a victim takes every Friday afternoon while running. And on and on and on. Yes, it matters.

The primary purpose of these reaction essays is to think through aspects of the reading that interest you or writing essay help: writing essay help

The primary purpose of these reaction essays is to think through aspects of the reading that interest you or stuck out to you. Please avoid summarizing the readings; while I do want you to demonstrate that you have read the material, I am much more interested in hearing what you thought about it and what you would like to talk about. There is one other important rule for these reaction essays:

You must stick to a one-page limit; essays that spill beyond the limit will not be accepted! This means that you will have to express yourself with efficiency if you are going to say something substantial and interesting—which is the goal. Essays are to be double-spaced and in a reasonable type size (12 point) and font (Times New Roman is good) with 1 inch margins.

A good reaction essay will begin with a brief and succinct summary of the most important arguments of the piece. Don’t waste time summarizing the events; summarize the argument or goal of the source; why it matters. Then, pick one or two key sentences, arguments, revelations, themes, etc. to react to:

-What is the point of the argument, or what is the importance of the primary source?

-What is the author saying or what are they trying to hide in their piece?

-What does this reveal about this moment of history?

As you can see, I’ve kept these vague, and these are only suggestions. This is an opportunity to sit with the text, to absorb them, to learn from them, to understand them, and to accept and examine the things you do not know or do not understand in the text.

(1) In this week discussion we were asked to list some of the cultures in which we belong. I first want to state that culture is broader than what people think. Culture is tradition new and old where college essay help: college essay help

I first want to state that culture is broader than what people think. Culture is tradition new and old where people come together in order to form equality. I happen to be apart of a lot of different cultures in my life. The one most important to be is the football culture or Athlete culture. Once you introduce yourself as an athlete of player I feel as though more people start to relate or want to know more about you. I have been apart of this culture for years now and always find myself building more relationships around that fact I’m an athlete. Another culture I am apart of is the Philadelphia eagles culture which is a professional football team. I love that team and can call myself a fan putting me in there culture for life. Between those two the only culture that may put me in conflicting roles is the being an athlete. With that I do things and get put in situations where I have to think fast especially playing the sport. Along with that injury is conflicting role which can cause my athleticism to decrease and have to settle down. In the chapter on interpersonal I find that expectancy’ validations is something I use all the time. I always make sure that I dont say anything personal around people that I don’t know. I always predict what a person may say or do it I was to offer touch. I’m always prepared for a negative or positive reaction because we can’t always expect for someone to respond well to touch. A lot of people keep distance for a reason because they won’t to avoid touch or conversation.  In the textbook burgoons states ” that Americans have four proxemic zones, which nicely correspond with the four interpersonal distances selected by my students: Intimate distance: 0 to 18 inches Personal distance: 18 inches to 4 feet Social distance: 4 to 12 feet Public distance: 12 to 25 feet ” (Burgoon)
(2)
In the chapter of interpersonal communication, I read over the topic of when relationships deteriorate. This topic was more personal for me because I’ve gone through so many breaks off with friendships I thought would last longer than they did. But in the book it discussed how pressure from external events, differences between the two individuals, and relationships/ friendships with other people can be the reason for such relational deterioration. And seeing that really made it clear why those friendships didn’t work out. I can find that this doesn’t happen in every relationship/ friendship that will come along and I can use this information in my daily life by seeing just how individuals handle problems that surface to see just how much a friendship matters to them.
(3)
Some of the cultures I belong to are: Hispanic, American, Non-Denominational Christian, Millenial, Football (pretty much any sport) and a few others.
According to Interpersonal Communication (2020), cultures do not mean one thing. We can be a part of many different cultures. Wether those race, heratiage, values, gender, religion, generation, likes, even dislikes. Some of the cultures in which I belong are the Hispanic, American and Christian cultures. My likes that feel like cultures are football, college football on Saturday and NFL on Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays. I think even generational culture is a strong influential culture that is ever changing.
The strongest culture I identify with is the classic american culture. While I am in school, my partner works and I stay home with our daughter. I do the whole stay at home mom/partner thing. I love my family but I cannot wait to get my degree and have my own career.
I think I identify with my religious culture can sometimes conflict with some of my other cultures. I sometimes forget that in religion you can always ask for forgiveness for sins committed. However sometimes my cultures can conflict. For example when I watch a football game, and my teams are not doing so well (or even my fantasy players) I can get a little lively about it. I then would have to compromise one culture because of another.

DQ2_ Candace Question: How will you use leadership to serve others? Answer: Being a Servant Leader resembles the way Jesus lead his people. He made sure that he served others because he genuinely care essay help: essay help

He made sure that he served others because he genuinely cared for them. He made a point to lead by example so his followers would go on the serve others and become leaders themselves. According to Greenleaf (2016) the best test to ensure your serving the highest priority needs of others is:
Are those that you are serving able to grow as a person while being served? Are they, wiser, freer, healthier, more autonomous, and more likely to become servants themselves? In a society that is least privileged, what effect are you having on them? Will they benefit or not be deprived further? (The Servant as Leader section, para. 3)
Servant Leaders are motivated, have good social skills, and are empathetic towards others. Empathy is so important because people are drawn to someone who is honest, trustworthy, and genuine person who cares about you on a deeper level. This provides a sense of security and trust which will help motivate and inspire the ones you are serving. A servant leader will also teach others on ways to expand their knowledge and provide guidance on how to better themselves. Listening and giving someone your undivided attention shows that you care, and they are important. Taking time to listen to what is truly being said, not interrupting and then summarizing what you heard ensures you understand, and it helps build trust. “Servant leaders communicate by listening first. Through listening servant leaders acknowledge the viewpoints of the followers and validate perspective” (Northouse, 2019, p.227). As a leader, there will be times when you are faced with challenging tasks or making difficult decisions. Even though we may be faced with difficult situations in life, we can take the opportunity to grow and help others grow as well. Leading by example can cast a positive shadow onto others so they will do the same. Grenny (2013) states, “When you ask people to step into a place of uncertainty and change, they look to you to take their cues. They look at your behavior” (p.157). By leading through example, showing empathy, building trust, and taking time to truly listen will help me stay aligned with my Christian values and principles.

In terms of the topic for the paper, I am going to strongly recommend that you write it on Plato’s Euthyphro dialogue, the entirety of which is in the textbook for the class. Here are the main questio college essay help near me

Here are the main questions that you should consider in your paper:
What is the general argument of the dialogue?
What are some of the main attempts at definitions that Euthyphro offers to Socrates?
What problems does Socrates bring up about these attempts?
Do you agree with the problems that Socrates brings up? Why or why not? Is there a way to surmount these problems?
As well as these questions, feel free to bring up anything we have studied in class so far that you think might be relevant (i.e., are any fallacies committed by either Euthyphro or Socrates in the dialogue, what kind of definitions are offered, etc.)
Format of the paper:
I would like you to compose the paper in a word-processing program, preferably Microsoft Word if you have it, and upload the assignment as a file. The paper should be 3 – 4 pages, double-spaced, in Times New Roman 12 point font (this should come out as approximately between 1000 and 1200 words). You should use the traditional, five-paragraph essay structure to organize the paper (one introductory paragraph ending with your thesis statement;  around three body paragraphs, each of which addresses a specific point that supports your main thesis statement; and a concluding paragraph reiterating your main thesis). There are all kinds of more specific descriptions of the five paragraph format online if you are unfamiliar with it, but I’m assuming everyone is coming into this class having written at least a couple of papers that follow this general structure.

Understanding family structure and style is essential to patient and family care. Conducting a family interview and needs assessment gathers information to identify strengths, as well as potential barriers to health. This information ultimately helps develop family-centered strategies for support and guidance.

This family health assessment is a two-part assignment. The information you gather in this initial assignment will be utilized for the second assignment in Topic 3.

Develop an interview questionnaire to be used in a family-focused functional assessment. The questionnaire must include three open-ended, family-focused questions to assess functional health patterns for each of the following:

Values/Health Perception
Nutrition
Sleep/Rest
Elimination
Activity/Exercise

Themes/topics selection should be based off each student’s personal/professional interest(s). The idea behind this paper is to address/resolve at college essay help

Themes/topics selection should be based off each student’s personal/professional interest(s).
The idea behind this paper is to address/resolve at least one concern associated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Papers should focus on either Foreign Policy -OR- Domestic Policy proposals [e.g. ocean acidification of the Great Barrier Reef, over fishing in the Atlantic (be specific with the nearest coast), managing COVID-19 (be specific with location), supporting women’s rights in . . ., introduce comprehensive affordable housing options for . . ., etc.].
FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN Domestic Policy
Determine/identify an area in the USA representing an entire region in the USA [e.g. Pacific Northwest, the South, the Midwest, etc.], state or territory [e.g. California, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, etc.] or a city [e.g. Flint, New Orleans, Dallas, etc.]). Determine/identify which approach is most effective to accomplish desired objective (social or economic policy), and explain: 1) your goal(s) [Agenda Setting]; 2) who would promote your policy proposal [Adoption]; 3) who would benefit; and 4) who would absorb accrued expenses?
Identification of the preferred application of resources (e.g. redistributive, distributive or regulatory) is also expected. The five steps below should be considered as the categories in which your policy proposal should be constructed.
FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN Foreign Policy
Again, after reviewing the UN Sustainable Development Goals draft policy that would potentially resolve your concern(s) as it/they exists in another country or region around the world [e.g. of regions: Central America, Caribbean, South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia, Oceania, Islands, Antarctica, or the Artic]. Once this concern(s) has been identified, mention the role the USA will play in resolving the situation.
Determine which approach is most effective to accomplish desired impact (social or economic policy), and identify: 1) your goal [Agenda Setting]; 2) who would promote your policy proposal [Adoption]; 3) who would benefit; and 4) who would absorb accrued expenses?
Identification of the preferred method to apply resources (e.g. crisis, strategic, or structural defense) is also expected. The five steps below should be considered as the categories in which your policy proposal should be constructed.
***The (5) steps to policy formation are listed in our course textbook, so all students should be sure to refer to our textbook for more detailed information – Policymaking Process:
Agenda Setting – What’s your issue(s) of concern?
Formulation – What’s your approach to resolve your issue(s) of concern?
Adoption – Domestic Policy – Which elected officials would you approach to ask to endorse your legislative proposal [i.e. this also depends on where you would like your proposal to have the greatest impact ~ national level (members of USA Congress), state level (governor[s] and members of state legislature as per the state you would like the most changes to come about), county and local level (county commissioners, mayors, city council members)] ~ it is encouraged to research each decided upon elected official to get a better understanding as to whether they would in fact support your proposal or not students are not limited to one group [i.e. there can be a combination of members of USA Congress working with state elected officials, with local representatives? I’m looking for names of representatives.
Implementation – which departments of the federal, state or local government(s) would be responsible for implementing your proposals [e.g. Labor, Treasury, Interior, State, Health and Human Services; and know each of these departments very often have either a similarly named department at the state level; and students are also encouraged to research each possible department to identify agencies and bureaus (e.g. Bureau of International Labor Affairs, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, Internal Revenue Service, Land Management, Ocean Energy Management, etc.)]? Again, names of selections.
Evaluation – When would you suggest/like to see people responsible for evaluating overall performance of your proposal come together and figure out what works to either apply consistent/additional resources, or end suggestions that do not work? Post a timeframe [e.g. every month, six months, annually, etc.].

Papers should be 2-3 double-spaced pages, with reasonable (12 pt.) font and reasonable (1 inch) margins.
Citations are required [in-text citations are preferred (MLA style)].

Best wishes!
