You have been tasked by your organisation to write a project proposal for a new and exciting experiment. This essay help online free

You have been tasked by your organisation to write a project proposal for a new and exciting experiment. This is a common task we are asked to do across the sciences. In this individual assessment you will be designing an experiment for a proposal investigating a question that interests you. The assessment is designed for you to apply the knowledge gained in Part 1 of this Unit. It is worth 10 marks (equivalent to 10% of you total assessment marks). The assessment can be submitted as a WORD document, HTML document, or PDF document and will be submitted through Turn-it-in. Assessments with greater than 20% similarity will be considered suspicious and may result in penalties.

Guide for assessment
Each task below has a point score associated with it. To earn an HD you will need to provide a very detailed but succinct descriiption of the experimental design accounting for fundamental principles of experimental design (replication, randomisation, controlling variation), show that you have thought very thoroughly on all assumptions, potential confounders and limitations of your design, demonstrate an understanding of the type of data required and how to record it, consider which type of analysis is appropriate for the experiment, and provide any relevant citations which may aid in providing background to the problem being investigated.

In order to complete this task you will need to work through and address the following structure. Writing should be succinct and you have a limit of 3 pages, but you may need fewer. Use the word suggestions as a guide below. Use diagrams where appropriate. PLEASE NOTE: Figures, tables and references are not included in the page limit.

Project proposal structure:
Background (~500 words): Provide background on the problem/question you wish to investigate. The background should provide the reader the information for why you are proposing your hypothesis, which stakeholders (your science discipline, society and/or industry) may be interested in your research, and be supported by references.
Provide a testable hypothesis as a statement and briefly comment/predict what you expect to find.
Methods (~500 words):
Detail methods indicating the experimental design (how you will collect the data, units of the data (variables), equipment required, how you will introduce randomisation and replication) such that it will be easy for anyone to undertake the research. Diagrams maybe used to aid clarity. Follow the structure of a scientific paper method section, not a laboratory protocol. Use sub-headings to organise this section, where appropriate.
Give an overview of what types of statistical analysis you will use and any assumptions that will need to be met.
What variables will you measure and how will they be used in the statistical analysis?
Significance (~200-300 words): Describe the significance of your proposed work. e.g. how does it add to our knowledge and/or any practical benefit to the environment, society and/or industry.
References (More than three): there should be more than one reference cited here. You will have references in the background and at least one in the significance section.
Please make sure you cite the article correctly and place references at the end of your HTML/WORD/PDF file. Please use Harvard referencing system and see the University Library site for referencing guidelines.
Note only primary literature is to be cited. e.g. books and scientific journal articles.
Not sure where to look for references?
As a starting point, the following links can help answer questions such as:

“What is a Journal article?” – Finding Journal Articles, University of Sydney Library
“How can I tell if I have actually found a journal article? (Links to an external site.)” – How to Find Scholarly, Peer-Reviewed Journal Articles, Bow Valley College
“What is Google Scholar and how does it work?” – Google Scholar, University of Sydney Library

“Writing scientific research articles: strategy and steps” (Links to an external site.) – How to write scientific journal articles, University of Sydney Library

Types of experiments
You may choose to do a controlled or mensurative experiment. The following is a definition of the two:
“Experiments may be either manipulative or mensurative (Hurlbert 1984). In a manipulative experiment, the experimenter physically manipulates some attribute of the system in a controlled manner, while holding all other attributes constant. The control over variation and confounding factors allows the experimenter to attribute observed differences to the imposed treatments. In contrast, in a mensurative study, the ‘‘experimenter’’ simply observes or measures the system at different locations or times. In a mensurative experiment, the treatment is the different conditions in space or time.” (McGarigal and Cushman 2002)

Hurlbert, S.H., 1984. Pseudoreplication and the design of ecological field experiments Download Pseudoreplication and the design of ecological field experiments. Ecological monographs, 54(2), pp.187-211.
An example of a mensurative experiment might be :”Ants are more active during low pressure atmospheric conditions compared to high pressure atmospheric conditions”
An example of a manipulative experiment might be: “Spiders will catch more insects with a light source placed close to their web than without a light source placed near their web”
Note you could make the ants example manipulative by putting them in enclosures that can be pressurised…

In preparation for writing your report to senior management next week, conduct the following descriptive statistics analyses with Microsoft® Excel®. Answer the questions below in your Microsoft® Excel® sheet or in a separate Microsoft® Word document:

Insert a new column in the database that corresponds to “Annual Sales.” Annual Sales is the result of multiplying a restaurant’s “SqFt.” by “Sales/SqFt.”

Calculate the mean, standard deviation, skew, 5-number summary, and interquartile range (IQR) for each of the variables.

Create a box-plot for the “Annual Sales” variable. Does it look symmetric? Would you prefer the IQR instead of the standard deviation to describe this variable’s dispersion? Why?

Create a histogram for the “Sales/SqFt” variable. Is the distribution symmetric? If not, what is the skew? Are there any outliers? If so, which one(s)? What is the “SqFt” area of the outlier(s)? Is the outlier(s) smaller or larger than the average restaurant in the database? What can you conclude from this observation?

What measure of central tendency is more appropriate to describe “Sales/SqFt”? Why?

I would like the paper to be about comic books used as extensive reading materials. I would like it to prove through some empirical evidence that using comics is an effective way for non-English speaking students to study English and improve their language (English) and reading ability. This can be any number or things, for example a combination of visual aids from the pictures to help understand situations, increased motivation due to interesting story lines, etc.

Students used: 22 University 2nd year students majoring in English Education at a Private University in Gifu City, Japan enrolled in an Interactive Reading course.

This information is very basic, I’d like you to flesh it out for me in some way in the Methods and Results sections. Please feel free to communicate with me before writing for any clarifications needed. I would like it if there could be both quantitative (please provide charts or graphs when appropriate-this can be included in the number of pages ordered. If you need additional pages ordered just let me know) and qualitative data. So yes, I’m asking you to fabricate the actual study.

I am also linking some papers my advisor suggested for me. Please feel free to reenact research from one of these to get similar results. If that makes it easier for you. Obviously feel free to use other papers and studies as well. These are just a few for you to use.

As I don’t have the actual information, please fabricate these for me.

I will attach a word document with links to the papers I mentioned above.

Prompt 1: In the role of hospital administrator, you must interact with professionals at all levels of the organization. Often, you may be the liaison between the provider, the patient, or the situation and the board of trustees or governing body. Does the healthcare triad (governing body, CEO, and medical professionals) as a team have more or less influence on that trajectory? Explain your position.

is to write about a Federal-State relationship. Analyze the extent to which the two governments work together to address a common public problem in AZ. college essay help near me: college essay help near me

Assignment Format Headers/Sections: Use headers or section heads in your work. This will help to clearly show that you are answering each portion. Summary: A paragraph summarizing your analysis. The section should begin by stating whether or not your specific IGR case has “effectively” addressed a cross-border/cross jurisdictional policy goal or challenge. The remaining one or two sentences should briefly summarize Example: The (fictional) PC Partnership, an (inter-state) initiative between Arizona, and Utah has failed to protect the shrinking habitat of the endangered Purple Spotted Cow. Problems allocating state funding to the initiative, especially from Utah, as well as the lack of political support from the Arizona governor eventually led to the decline of the program. Analysis: This section should follow the same format discussed in the Module 2 videos. Framework components include (1) public purpose, (2) authority [including which governments are involved], (3) power [budgets and regulation], (4) political context, (5) capacity, and (6) other contextual issues. You should use evidence taken from recent news articles and reports to explain how each framework element shows that your IGR case is effective or ineffective. NOTE: You may find that evidence is mixed. This means that some articles may portray your example as effective while others show the opposite. It is up to you to weigh (analyze) the evidence, talk about both sides, and make a conclusion. Example: the PC Partnership (introduced above) has not received adequate funding from Utah or support from the AZ governor, but it has scientists involved who have an excellent understanding of purple spotted cow habitat (capacity part of your framework). Recommendations: This final section should provide a few sentences that introduce plausible recommendations to strengthen the impact of the intergovernmental relationships discussed in your case. NOTE: “Plausible” means that your recommendations must be reasonable. For example, while funding may be discussed, governments are unlikely to double or triple budgets to save the Purple Spotted Cow (even if it existed). References: Please use endnotes to cite the sources of your evidence. Endnotes should provide article title, publication, and an active web link (authors are not required). For interviews, provide your interviewees last name. Endnotes allow you to preserve space for writing. EXAMPLE ATTACHED

(Before you even begin to brief a case, you should read the case in its entirety, contemplating the true importance of the case. If you attempt to brief the case during a first reading, you are more likely to include extraneous material and exclude relevant material. Briefs should be written in precise, explicit language, and should, by definition, be brief. A properly prepared brief will render further examination of the actual case unnecessary. You can develop your own method for briefing a case, but I advise everyone to include the following information in their briefs.) The outline for how the case should be briefed is attached below. Person-focused pay plans are least preferable compared with individual incentive pay programs”. Indicate whether you agree or disagree with cheap essay help: cheap essay help

Person-focused pay plans are least preferable compared with individual incentive pay programs”. Indicate whether you agree or disagree with this statement. Detail your arguments to support your position.

To start things off, I would like to go into what each of these programs are. A person-focused pay program rewards employees for acquiring job related knowledge and skills (Martocchio, 2022). This is great for employees because it allows them to be motivated. On the other hand, incentive pay programs are based on performance of the individual (Incentive, 2021). This form of payment program is based around the accomplishments of an employee.

I disagree with this statement because I believe that person-focused pay plans are more preferable than individual incentive pay programs. A person-focused pay program seems to be more preferable because it represents what an employee has accomplished as a person in the company. It shows the knowledge and skills that they have acquired while at the job, or what they have brought to it as well. This pay program mirrors the knowledge and skills needed to do the job. This seems to be the most important thing when it comes to completing a job. Along with that, the person becomes a lot more motivated as well with the person-focused pay plans. The employee wants to learn, and while doing the job they can be involved from beginning to end. To learn the tasks they have to stay involved the whole time and be held accountable, so by having this type of pay program they can keep their employees motivated. Having employees that want to learn and that are motivated are something that all companies want. Acquiring them is difficult, but once these people are found it makes all the difference. With that being said, I disagree with this statement and believe that person-focused pay plans are more preferable.

BUSINESS ANALYTICS EXCEL WORKSHEETS AND WORD DOCUMENT Files Link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/br4smc2ed77ba/Case_Study Performance Lawn Equipment (PLE) – Read the file description in pages 31- a level english language essay help: a level english language essay help

mediafire.com/folder/br4smc2ed77ba/Case_Study
Performance Lawn Equipment (PLE) – Read the file description in pages 31-32 and answer the following questions.Your manager, Elizabeth Burke, has received several questions from other managers regarding On-time delivery, Process costs, and employee retention. Using statistical tools and analysis, she would like you to provide her with some answers using the Performance Lawn Equipment Database File
In the worksheet, On-Time Delivery, has the proportion of on-time deliveries in 2018 significantly improved since 2014?
Although engineering has collected data on alternative process costs for building transmissions in the worksheet Transmission Costs, why didn’t they reach a conclusion as to whether one of the proposed processes is better than the current process?
Are there differences in employee retention due to gender, or whether the employee is from the local area in the data in the worksheet Employee Retention?
Conduct appropriate statistical analyses and hypothesis tests to answer these questions and summarize your results in a formal report to your (fictional) manager, Ms. Burke.
To answer the questions, you must use the statistical techniques discussed in this course.
There is no unique solution to this case study. The statistical techniques used should appropriately answer the questions.
This is not group work. The submitted work should be unique and your own. The percentage of plagiarism will be checked with Safeassign; it shouldn’t exceed 35%. You have access to that percentage after submitting your work.
Your report should be a word document. You must also submit the Excel file showing your own work.
Don’t focus on describing the techniques you used; the core of the report should be on what your numbers mean (interpretations) for the firm PLE. Keep in mind that your manager may not be a technical person and may only be interested in the insights provided in order to make a strategic decision about the company and its activities. Your detailed technical work will be shown in the Excel file in case your manager has some technical background. However, you should show the most useful results and interpret them in your report (the word document).
Present a professional report with an introduction summarizing what PLE is about and the aim of your task/report. The main part of the document should be on providing interpretations, insights, and recommendations for the different issues. Your conclusion should summarize your findings and recommendations.
EXAMPLE OF A CASE STUDY REPORT PROVIDED
This is an example of a case study report submitted by a former student. The topic is not the same as yours but this should give you a pretty good understanding of how to write a technically sound report. The alignment/organization doesn’t need to be exactly the same. Your work will be checked for plagiarism with SafeAssign. Make sure that the percentage given by SafeAssign doesn’t exceed 35%.

For this formal assignment, you will apply 2-3 of the critical thinking terms from Mastermind or A Field Guide essay help free

For this formal assignment, you will apply 2-3 of the critical thinking terms from Mastermind or A Field Guide to Lies to either “The Chameleon” by David Grann OR “I’m Just More Afraid of Climate Change Than I Am of Prison” By Michelle Nijhuis, ultimately developing a 4-5 page thesis-driven essay. Focus on the ways in which the people/entities within the texts rationalize and judge. You are analyzing their thinking. Yes, this assignment is basically an expansion of the kind of work you did for your recent in-class writings. Another option: “The Curious Case of Sidd Finch” from Sports Illustrated. Read the main article (https://www.si.com/mlb/2014/10/15/curious-case-sidd-finch.) first, then read this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidd_Finch). You will quote from both your chosen text as well as your primary class texts that are devoted to critical thinking (Mastermind and A Field Guide to Lies), and you’ll want roughly 2-3 quotes per body paragraph.

Please use “The Chameleon” and “Mastermind” when writing this. I have uploaded a sample paper of how the paper should look like/how it is structured. I have also attached more notes on how it should be structured. Let me know if you have any questions.
