ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS, I have attached screenshots of the data sets from the textbook for needed questions

This week, you will learn about application of hypothesis testing and probability theory to the testing of specific questions regarding relationships between variables. We will then go on to discuss probability, represented by our discussion of the normal curve and the basic principles underlying probability.
Hypothesis tests are procedures for making rational decisions about the reality of effects. In hypothesis testing one wishes to show real effects of an experiment. By showing that the experimental results were unlikely, given that there were no effects, one may decide that the effects are, in fact, real. The hypothesis that there were no effects is called the NULL HYPOTHESIS. The symbol H0 is used to abbreviate the Null Hypothesis in statistics. Note that, unlike geometry, we cannot prove the effects are real, rather we may decide the effects are real.
Probability is a theory of uncertainty. Probability theory is a rational means of dealing with an uncertain world. Probabilities are numbers associated with events that range from zero to one (0-1). A probability of zero means that the event is impossible. For example, if I were to flip a coin, the probability of a leg is zero, because a coin may have a head or tail, but not a leg. Given a probability of one, however, the event is certain. For example, if I flip a coin the probability of heads, tails, or an edge is one, because the coin must take one of these possibilities.

Biology 1114 Research Project Report Instructions

You will turn in both a worksheet and a research paper.

Point total for research paper: 90 points

Point total for worksheet: 10 points

Your paper will be written in the format of a scientific journal article and include the following parts:

Title (2 points): The title of a scientific paper is specific and tells the reader everything he/she needs to know in order to decide if this paper is relevant to his or her own work.

Abstract (8 points): This is a summary of the entire project, all in about one paragraph. It includes the results, so you can’t write it until you are done with the project.

Introduction (15 points): Talk about the species of beetle we will be using. Discuss its ecological niche presently as well as what it likely was before humans began storing grain. How does Tribolium confusum interact with other species in its environment including humans. You will need to include the food habits, life history, and rates of reproduction for this beetle. You will also need to determine the acceptable ranges of temperature, humidity, and how this beetle reacts to light. Cite your references by naming the authors with their publication years such as (Jones, 2004). This section should be relatively short and to the point. At the end of the introduction, tell what the hypotheses are (both null and alternative). Give a prediction of the results.

Methods (15 points): Describe the experimental methods, tell what was measured and how. Tell when it was measured. List all your equipment and the steps you used to setup and complete the experiment. The idea of a methods section is to be detailed enough that someone else could perform the experiment from your descriiption. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY RESULTS IN THIS SECTION.

Results (15 points): Here is where you will present your experimental data in the form of tables and/or graphs. In this section you provide your results, but you do not yet draw conclusions from them. That effort is left for your last section. You must also test your results using a statistical test and make sure you report these results and the methods you used to obtain them.

Conclusions (15 points): This is where you discuss your results and draw conclusions (i.e. what might have caused any differences observed in the containers. Also, in this section you accept or reject your hypotheses. This is where you discuss the possibility of experimental errors.

Writing Style (5 points): The writing style in a scientific paper is described as “detached third person.” You are not offering opinions or comment. Avoid words such as I, you, we, because you are merely collecting and reporting facts. Spelling, grammar, and the organization of your ideas will be parts of your grade on this paper, so please pay attention to your writing. Seek help (from me, other students, the writing center on campus) if you are unsure about how to write in a scientific style. Avoid using bullets! If English is not your first language, please contact a tutor at the writing center tutors!

References (15 points): You must include a reference page. You can consult the Internet and you must include citations with website addresses and the date you consulted them if you do. You must also have three other sources, and all must be peer-reviewed journal articles. If you have any questions about whether or not a source is peer-reviewed please ask me. You should cite papers within the text. Any paper that is in your reference section must be cited somewhere in the text. Newspapers and magazines are not acceptable references for this paper. Anything cited in the text must also be in the references. Use the APA reference style (there are many examples online, such as, http://www.liu.edu/CWIS/CWP/library/workshop/citapa.htm).
Here are some examples of citing a reference within the text of a scientific paper:

please make a reply of 200-250 words to this thread with two citations. When replying, try to address different aspects of the ethical argument with Bible integrations. Often, these situations are no college admissions essay help: college admissions essay help

When replying, try to address different aspects of the ethical argument with Bible integrations. Often, these situations are not as black and white as they seem, particularly when responsibilities such as independence and confidentiality come into play.
Scenario – You are negotiating a transaction for your client, Shark Corporation. Parties on the other side of the deal ask you for information about the structural stability of a building, which is a significant part of the transaction. Coleman, Shark’s tax director, tells you to say that everything is all right when the building has substantial hidden damage. Coleman tells you to say this because it would be more favorable to Shark’s position in the transaction.
How would you respond to Coleman’s request? Be sure to cite research that supports your position.
My response to Coleman would be that I would not lie about the damage of the building. One of the Principles of Professional Conduct is Integrity which means being honest and candid while also maintaining client confidentiality. This principle also notes that members should perform all professional responsibilities with the highest sense of integrity, which is the best course of action to maintain the public trust. I am not only responsible to represent Shark Corporation, but also, I am responsible to maintain honesty and integrity with the other parties. By lying about this transaction, I would also be violating the principle of Responsibility which states that members should always exercise moral and professional judgement during their work and career. My responsibility is to provide professional service, and an obligation to uphold the standards of the profession. Also, the Due Care Principle states that I should constantly try to improve my ethical competence and act to the best of my ability when it comes to ethical standards.
What if you have already told the other side that the building is fine when you learn about the problems?
The Bible teaches us in Proverbs 10:9 “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” I must conduct myself with integrity and I must inform the other side about the damages of the building. I must also be responsible to tell the other side that the information I provided before is incorrect and that the building has such problems.
What other potential ethics issues do you see in this situation?
Another potential ethic issue that I find in this case is that Mr. Coleman is the Tax director of this company, and he wants me to act in an unethical way. This is an indication that Shark Corporation does not have a good ethical environment. An ethical workplace environment supports a positive reputation for your company while improving the morale of your employees. Violations of basic ethics can hurt your business or cost your company money due to actions such as lawsuits or theft of good and ideas (Shelley Frost). This unethical behavior shown by Mr. Coleman puts in risk the reputation of the Corporation and can cost them a lot of money. I might also consider leaving this client because I do not want to put my reputation in risk.
Which AICPA Code(s) of Professional Conduct rules apply in this situation (explain how and why they apply)?
Rule 102. AICPA (2011, p. 1757) would apply to this situation. This rule is about Integrity and Objectivity which states that in the performance of any professional service, a member shall maintain objectivity and integrity, shall be free of conflicts of interest, and shall not knowingly misrepresent facts or subordinate his or her judgment to others. This rule means that I shall conduct myself with integrity in the performance of my services as a professional, and that I shall not help this client to conduct this transaction because I am completely aware that there is a problem with it. In this case, the building has structural damage.
Cite the specific verse(s) for at least one Biblical principle that you feel is relevant to the situation (explain how and why it applies).
The Bible verse that I feel is relevant to this situation is Luke 8:17 “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the
open.” Mr. Coleman thinks that he can keep this secret and that nobody will find out, but the
truth is that God knows everything, and He brings everything to light.

please make a reply of 200-250 words to this thread with two citations. When replying, try to address different aspects of the ethical argument with Bible integrations. Often, these situations are no essay help

When replying, try to address different aspects of the ethical argument with Bible integrations. Often, these situations are not as black and white as they seem, particularly when responsibilities such as independence and confidentiality come into play.
How would you respond to Coleman’s request? Be sure to cite research that supports your position.
I would inform Coleman that I would not be able to complete his request. Ethically and professionally, I could not conceal the stability of the building during a transaction I was handling. Per the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, I have a responsibility to be professional in all matters. Section 0.300.040.03 states that a member is to be “honest and candid within the constraints of client confidentiality. Service and the public trust should not be subordinated to personal gain (2019).” I would inform Coleman if he still wanted me to remain silent regarding the stability of the building; I would have to remove myself from the transaction.
What if you have already told the other side that the building is fine when you      learn about the problems?
Per AICPA professional code of conduct 0.300.020, “in carrying out their responsibilities as professionals, members should exercise sensitive professional and moral judgements in all their activities (2019).” I would inform Coleman that I had only done what I felt was morally right. I informed the other party about the stability of the building because it was the ethical and moral response. I was also relay to Coleman that if I had known the stability of the building was to be concealed; I would not have taken part of the transaction.
What other potential ethics issues do you see in this situation?
I believe one primary ethical issue is ignoring the public interest. Per section 0.300.030.01, “members should accept the obligation to act in a way that will serve the public interest honor the public trust and demonstrate a commitment to professionalism (2019).” Per Jenkins, Popova and Sheldon (2018), “the public interest in accounting relates to protecting the business community, clients, shareholders, regulators, government, and society as a whole from (un)intentional harmful actions by members of the profession.” If I conceal the stability of the building by omission or a lie; I would be failing the public interest.  Other ethical issues are the lack of integrity, lack of professionalism and the lack of honesty.
Which AICPA Code(s) of Professional Conduct rules apply in this situation (explain how and why they apply)?
The General Standard Rule applies to this situation. The General Standard Rule 1.300.001.01a-b covers this situation. A member is to act with professional competence and due professional care (2019). By concealing or lying about the stability of the building I would not be acting in a professional manner. Ignoring the stability of the building would not be practicing due professional care for my client and the public. “Due professional care requires auditors to carry out professional skepticism, of questioning mind Kertajasa et al. 2019).” Concealing the stability of the building would be failing in providing due professional care to both parties in the transaction.
Cite the specific verse(s) for at least one Biblical principle that you feel is relevant to the situation (explain how and why it applies).
I feel that Matthew 7:12 is the most relevant verse to this situation. “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets (2012).” Aa a professional and a Christian, I cannot withhold important information that could affect the well-being of the buyer or their company. The simple truth is I would not want to be treated that way. And that type of behavior would not be very Godly.

Transition from the specific example above, and provide a clear overview of the topic of the paper.
End the introduction with a strong thesis statement–you have to have YOUR OWN position or opinion about the topic.Do not list in your thesis the different items that will make up your body paragraphs.

All body paragraphs will have:A clear topic sentence with a useful transitional word or phrase.
The required components of the assignment (analysis, comparison and contrast, etc.)

The first several body paragraphs will discuss the elements below.  Use the essay you selected for the analysis.Subject and Occasion
Speaker and Audience

In another paragraph, explore the strengths and weaknesses of both essays, focusing on three or more of the following: bias, figurative language, diction and connotation, assumptions, generalizations, euphemisms, and doublespeak.

The paper will have a conclusion that closes by returning to the specific example from the introduction, the specific example that launched the entire essay.
Once you are done, you will have an introduction, at least five body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
Development of Body Paragraphs:
Use the text/s to provide textual evidence to support your ideas.  Do not include researched information.

Panic of the US patriarchal society in response to female Hookup culture essay help

I will choose Option 2 and possibly use the title “The Moral Panic of the US patriarchal society in response to female Hookup culture and sexual promiscuity.” The main object of analysis is the US hookup culture, female promiscuity, and why the US society develops moral panic. Males, who engage in hookups and
promiscuous sex, are viewed positively, while women are viewed negatively. The paper explores if the growing hookup culture among US females is their way of asserting themselves and achieving equality with males. And whether moral panic related to such changing sexual scriipts is an attempt of the patriarchal society to maintain the gender roles and power balance. The first theoretical framework is the works of Gagnon and Simon on Sexual Scripts and sexual conduct. I will explore the layered three dimensions: ‘cultural scenarios,’ ‘interpersonal scenarios,’ and ‘intra-psychic scenarios.’ I will investigate what genders the existing sexual scriipts benefit the most and infer what scriipts the US society considers appropriate for both genders. Another theoretical framework is moral panic and the works of Stanley Cohen. I will explore the stages of moral panic and agents of moral panic. I will investigate why the US society panics that woman use various hookups and dating apps/websites and freely engage in promiscuous sex. Also, I intend to use the ideas of Erich Goode and Nachman Ben-Yehuda in the book “Moral Panics: The Social Construction of Deviance” to investigate why female promiscuity and hookups are viewed as deviant and inappropriate by US society. The paper will also include the concepts of sexual norms, social norms regarding sexuality, deviance and restrictive behavior, sexual desire, symbolic interactionism, and sexual behavior. It will incorporate the works of Gagnon (2004), Gagnon
