Hello, I Need To Write A Discourse Analysis Approximately 1,000 Words. I Choose A Topic About How Netflix Builds Essay Help Site:edu

Hello, I need to write a discourse analysis approximately 1,000 words. I choose a topic about how Netflix builds inclusive work atmosphere in the entertainment business through films and shows. I use a source from this cite: https://about.netflix.com/en/news/building-a-legacy-of-inclusion. I have also attached the first draft of the paper which I started with an introduction about who wrote the article and the interviewee, and why is it important to talk about inclusion in workplace. If I should fix my introduction in anyway please help me.
Next, I must come up with analytical judgement which I want to focus on the how Netflix focuses on inclusion concept, so I need to select some key passages or a sentence from the text that seem standing out about inclusion. My professor said no more than 3 selections, so I decide to do choose 2 debatable ideas. The first one I think when Dr.Smith talks about inclusion lens seem interesting because by using the word lens can get all the production people involved to promote strong inclusion concept in workplace. Lens are also used for equipment for camera men, I think it’s quite genius of her to use that word. The second one is in the last paragraph where Dr.Smith quotes “creating a lasting legacy of inclusion in entertainment.” I think it is a beautiful ending and that she also mentions that all her study is still in the early stages including the “inclusion lens” practice. I think inclusion lens practice is an effective start which will be continuously practiced for her dreamed legacy of inclusion. I need to link these 2 ideas together somehow and I also need to cite the 2 quotes in MLA style both in the paragraph and at the end of my paper. These are my ideas, however if they don’t really seem to work out please help me on that. I do appreciate your help.

Important Requirements [MUST FOLLOW ALL]
– Approximately 1,000 words
– An academic essay, double-spaced with one-inch margins. Use a serif font; Times or Times New Roman, 12-point.
– Follow MLA style for in text and bibliographic citations.
– How does it match what you encountered in your field during a work experience? [This let’s just say that it’s important for this modern era workplace atmosphere to respect everyone equally. A concept of inclusion encourages employees to work with their best potential.]
– How do your current writing skills match what is presented in this document? What, if anything, does your text reveal that you must do to be able to write with authority in this business discourse, as a member of a discourse community? [Maybe let’s just talk about when I write I would like to consider about humanity issues such as equalities, diversity, LGBTQ community, so I wish to promote human equality when writing as a member of discourse community.]
– Quote specific, carefully chosen, and sufficient evidence from chosen text.
– Offer detailed observations of evidence.
– Offer specific, arguable judgments, in analysis, of how and why knowledge is ordered
and transmitted in the observed evidence from the chosen text.
– Offer the thick logic behind judgment, engaging the specificity and complexity of
evidence and judgment.
– Offer specific connections between text, as analyzed, and student’s own career interests,
preparation, and current writing skills.
– Show understanding of paragraph focus and development.
– Follow proper in-text citation conventions.
– Display proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

Other Guidelines [DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW ALL OF THEM]
I have also provided some more guidelines for this assignment, however these we do not need to follow all of them. They are just some ideas for writing.
• How does this passage work? Why does it work that way? Then offer the thick logic behind this judgment—how did you arrive at this judgment?
• A coherent and lucid essay demonstrating penetrating understanding of the writing in your field, rather than a disjointed series of answers to questions.
• A penetrating, debatable, arguable analytical judgment. This is more
than mere summary or descriiption. We’ll need focused descriiption of elements of the document,
of course—but we can’t argue with a descriiption. We want a judgment and we want the
articulation of how we arrived at that judgment, the thick logic behind judgment.
• What does this text tell you about the kinds of matters, problems, or challenges that concern
professionals in your field? What is the purpose of the text? Does the text pass on
information? Knowledge? Instructions? Does it persuade? What knowledge does it assume the reader has already? How is this text to be used? How does this text function in the day-today or longer-term activities of the company, agency, department, or discipline at which it is aimed?
• What are your observations about this text in terms of one or
more of these elements? What strategies does the text follow in arranging these elements?
Does it favor one kind of element over another? When, why and how does it use text? Visual
elements? Does it balance elements? How? Why? Does it bring together, or “batch,” certain
kinds of information, knowledge, materials? How does overall format and organization relate
to purpose, or the way this text is meant to be used?
• Who is the reader? How do you know? How are specific appeals to the interests, needs,
desires, or concerns of this audience made? Is it clear what the audience should know, feel,
and/or be able to do upon reading this document? How is this clarity put into place?
• Consider the stance of the author/authors. Does the author make her or his presence or
identity known? Why or why not? Does the author forward and defend a point of view or
report facts or findings as an objective observer (or possibly both)? Quote examples from the
text.
• Consider elements of style at the sentence level. What is the diction, or word choice, used in
this document? Is it technical/semi-technical/non-technical? Journalistic? Does the writer use
specialized terminology or everyday language? Why? How would you describe the tone or
feeling of this text? Quote examples of how the author uses language to achieve his or her
aim in this particular piece of writing.
• Is this document successful, in your judgment, at achieving its aims? What are its strengths?
What, if any, are its weaknesses? Would you propose to change anything in the document,
improve it? How? Why?

Thank you very much.

Some clinicians think of panic as a normal fear response that is triggered at an inappropriate time. In that sense, panic is a false alarm. Descriptively, panic can be distinguished from anxiety in 2 respects: it is more intense, and it has a sudden onset. Review the case study on page 104 of your text. In one or two paragraphs outline and describe the physiological symptoms experienced by the individual and their consequences.

Health Course Essay college application essay help: college application essay help

Step 1

Research the topic you have chosen, gathering all the important information that you will need to create your promotional materials. Sort the information you’ve gathered into piles for each material you will create: What information needs to go in the brochure? What should go on the poster? And what will the bumper sticker convey about the topic?

Step 2

Choose a poster and a brochure format. Note that brochures can be folded different ways. Choose the template that works best for your brochure and what you want it to look like. Keep in mind that brochures are usually printed on two pages—a front and a back. For your poster, choose a template that most resembles the layout you want to use.

Use these web links to download your choice of brochure and poster template. Be sure to choose one that lists a software version that you have on your computer.

Decide what graphics you want to include in your promotional materials, as well as how you are going to obtain them. Don’t use copyrighted images. You can find clip art or you can use a graphics program to make your own images. Or perhaps you want to make a table and format it with colors to spruce up your materials.

Step 3

Organize your words and graphics on your poster and in your brochure so that both items best convey your health topic and make your community members want to read and learn from them. Write your bumper sticker and arrange the words with graphics, if desired, using a word-processing or other program available to you.

HW Assignment 3: Supply and Demand (MLO 1 and 2) Answer the following questions with a graph and an a level english language essay help

HW Assignment 3: Supply and Demand (MLO 1 and 2)
Answer the following questions with a graph and an analysis (or the causation) of the sequence of events of how each shock impacts one of the determinants of supply or demand, then show how it shifts the supply or demand curve to generate a new equilibrium price and the quantity. This should look similar to the causation that I show underneath the graphs in my Demand, Supply and Equilibrium power point lectures. Make sure to answer each question with its own separate graph that includes both supply and demand with its initial equilibrium price and quantity (labeled as P1 and Q1) and then the shift in either the supply or demand curve (not both) to find the new equilibrium price and quantity (labeled as P2 and Q2) to answer the question. The graphs are worth 1/2 the points and the analysis or causation is worth 1/2 the points. Due by 23:59 on Wednesday of week 2.
1) Using the information bellow, Draw the Demand and Supply Curves for Candy Bars and find the equilibrium price and quantity. Hint: Demand goes down to the ground and Supply goes up to the sky. (20 points. The supply curve is worth 5 points, the demand curve is worth 5 points, the price is worth 5 points and the quantity is worth 5 points

Demand
P Q
$1.25 1
$100 2
$0.75 3
$0.50 4
$0.25 5

Supply
P Q
$1.25 8
$1.00 7
$0.75 5
$0.50 3
$0.25 1

Now show what happens to the equilibrium price and quantity due to the following events or shocks. Each shock will impact either one of the 5 determinants of Demand and shift the demand curve or it will impact one of the 6 determinants of Supply and shift the supply curve. Hint: Increases in supply or demand shift the curve to the right and decreases in supply or demand shift the curve to the left. (Less:left). Make sure you do a separate graph for each event/question starting with the initial equilibrium and then showing the shift in either the supply and demand curve. Then make sure that you show the new equilibrium price and quantity. You can leave it in the general form and use P1 and Q1 for your initial equilibrium price and quantity and P2 and Q2 for the new price and quantity.
Similar to the graphs in the power point lectures. If it helps you to make up a new numerical price and quantity that is fine. (Please note: this is similar to the questions on the Supply and Demand exam.)

2) candy stops heart disease (The graph is worth 10 points, the analysis is worth 10 points).
3) the price of chocolate increases (The graph is worth 10 points, the analysis is worth 10 points).
4) Tech. advances in how candy is made (The graph is worth 10 points, the analysis is worth 10 points).
5) we tax candy. (The graph is worth 10 points, the analysis is worth 10 points).
Again, make sure to draw a graph for each question that starts with supply and demand and the initial equilibrium price (P1) and quantity (Q1).

a comprehensive assessment of your community this week. Reflect back on the resources you found—or didn’t find. Answer the following questions in this week’s entry: essay help online

What surprised you the most about your community after you completed this assessment? Explain. What resources were you expecting to find, but didn’t? Explain. Tell me about resources that were present in the community, yet were not plentiful enough to be of much help to the targeted population. Lastly, reflect on how knowing your community better will help you in your role as a nurse—whether in the hospital, home health, etc. Entry is to be 350 words, single-spaced. Follow APA guidelines for writing style and any necessary citations (none required).

[supanova_question]

Assess the purpose, mission, and population served by this agency–age, sex, socioeconomic status, most common medical conditions (if applicable), etc. Also, ask about services provided, problems in the community, resources used in the community, and educational material for their clients. What additional resources/educational material (for clients and/or staff) might be helpful to have on hand? In other words, if they had a wish granted, what would they wish for? It is okay if they give you several different ideas . . . your further assessments will drive the final intervention. college essay help: college essay help

Use the Community Reconnaissance Tool (click here to download the Word Document) provided in Module 3 to assess your community for available resources using Google etc. This exercise will not only help your Agency, it will help you to better know your community so that you can better help your patients in the hospital, who will be returning home to the community. The www.city-data.com website is an excellent website to look up data on schools, crime rates, sex offenders, house prices, cost of living, home value estimator, and much more. So what are we looking for in this Community Reconnaissance? You’re assessing a 2 mile radius around the Agency for the resources listed on the Community Reconnaissance Assessment Tool—in other words, you’re “filling in the blanks.” You’ll explain, where possible, the services, costs, and hours of the resources. How many pharmacies are there and do any stay open 24 hours? How many public and private schools are there? What is the cost for private schools? How many grocery stores did you find? This is important for identifying “food deserts”. How many churches did you find in this area? Do any offer more than the traditional worship services, such as food pantries, counseling, support groups, etc.? Of course, you may not find any of the things listed above within 2 miles of your Agency. If you don’t find these things, you’ll find other things to investigate. Keep in mind that this is just a snapshot of your community. That’s all there is time for. You may find resources that are not listed on the assessment Tool—this is great! Feel free to add to the Tool if you think of something else or if you find it in your community and feel it is something really great. Add it to whichever one of the 9 systems you feel it applies! You also may discover that some of the resources on the assessment tool are “missing”—they don’t exist in your community. That’s okay, too. Just note these as “missing” (highlight, circle in red, etc.). One of the purposes of assessing a community for resources is to help you be a better nurse in your community! We sometimes have preconceived notions about our communities, especially if it’s where we were born and raised. Knowing at least some of the resources available in your community will help you help your patients better. Step 7: Turn in a 1-page single-spaced paper (500 words) that is a write-up of your Key Informant Interview. This paper will be graded using the Paper Rubric and is worth 20 points toward your grade. Step: 8 Use the Community Recon Tool posted to Module 3. It is in table format, so keep it that way and just “fill in the blanks” with information on existing resources, their cost, hours of operation, services provided, et

*****Student 1*****

Why are the elderly and disabled considered vulnerable populations and what special considerations are needed when working with these groups?

According to Kanel, (2018) the “U.S. Census Bureau classifies disabilities according to six limitations: hearing, vision, cognitive, ambulatory, self-care, and independent living”.

These disabilities provide insight on what is considered a disability which assists in understanding why Elderly and disabled people are considered vulnerable populations due to their level of care needed, the specific care they may need due to their age or disability.

When working with these populations special considerations should start with the understanding the limitations on functioning of these individuals and what interventions/ level of treatment is needed to properly care for them. It is also “history, society has frequently greeted disabled people with stigma, prejudice, mistreatment, discrimination, social isolation, inferior status, and inferior services” (Kanal, 2018).

2. Identify key elements of coping with dying as described in our course materials. Do these concepts dovetail with Scripture? Why or why not?

Coping with a dying loved one is never an easy thing to do no matter how prepared an individual make think they are. According to Corr et al., the following are the key elements of coping with dying are:

focusing on processesof coping.

directing attention to effortsthat are central to coping.

underlining attempts to manage or adapt toa situation.

linking coping to efforts addressing specific demands.

referring to efforts undertaken in response to demands that are appraised as taxing or exceeding the resources of the person.

taking care not to confuse coping processes with their outcomes.

Corr et al., (2018) also provides us with extended our understanding of coping by grouping coping skills into three separate categories of appraisal-focused coping, problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping.

In regard to these concepts coinciding with Scripture I believe that they can for example: John 16:22 “Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. If the person is a Christian this can been viewed as a coping strategy in knowing and believing God’s word as a coping strategy.

3. What are the four dimensions of caring for the dying? Give an example of how these dimensions might emerge using a case example (media example or made-up).

Cognitive or intellectual – Example- Understanding how COVID is affecting older populations, research that needs to be done and the ability to understand why older populations are majorly impacted.

Affective- Example- The emotional toll that the pandemic has had on older people and their families.

Behavioral- Example- Social distancing, mask wearing and fear of going out into public to avoid getting sick.

Valuational- Example- The value on life as whole and understanding death is part of living.

4. What are the advantages and limitations of being cared for by a long-term care facility, home healthcare program, hospice, versus a hospital as far as mental health support?

The advantages and limitations of care a person seeks begins with the personal beliefs of the individual starting with what they believe spiritually and medically.

Hospitals can provide acute care which is an advantage for those needing emergency care or a particular type of physician that may work at the hospital. The limitations could range from the level of care the hospital can provide and staffing education on mental health. According to Corr et al., (2018) Another limitation of hospital care could be affordability.

According to Corr et al., (2018) Long term facilities/ nursing home have shown that life expectancy has increased, many Americans no longer expected to work until just days or hours before death. The limitations consist of level of education and experience that staff have regarding mental health.

Hospice is a hard choice in itself of knowing that the individual/ family is preparing for that person to pass. The advantages of hospice as that the individual could be in the comfort of their own home and be truly comfortable and could be affordable. The limitation of hospice is the level of care that can be provided ot the individual sine they are in their home.

What does this correlation tell you?
Is this correlation evidence that having a high family income causes one to have high SAT scores?
Is this correlation evidence that high SAT scores cause higher income? Or does this tell you something else? Explain your answer.
Explain why correlation alone is rarely sufficient to demonstrate cause.

Beginning Groups—Case Study

In supervision your supervisor talks to you about a number of clients (both those already seeing a social worker and new clients) who have contacted the agency about issues they are having related to the violence in the community. She knows that you are in a class where you are learning about group work, and thinks that having you prepare and lead a group for them would be both beneficial to the participants and to your learning.

She informs you that at the intake with these individuals they were asked if they would like to participate in a group and each replied yes.

She provided a brief overview for each of the participants:

1.Ms. Smith is a 68-year-old female living in low-income housing for older adults, living three blocks away from Horizons. She has been living in this apartment for three years. She has always felt safe, but recently she has been feeling scared.

Four weeks ago her neighbor was robbed at gun point right in front of the building. Since that time she has been afraid to leave the building to go shopping or to go out to see her friends and family. She feels isolated and alone.

2.Mary is a 32-year-old mother of two young children (3 and 5 years old), who contacted the agency because she is frightened by all the news about violence in the community. She recently attended a presentation at her daughter’s kindergarten class about helping children feel safe. Instead of helping her feel like she now has some tools to help her daughter, she finds herself even more concerned about her children’s safety. She has reached out to Horizons for help for both her and her children.

3.David is a 27-year-old art student at the local college. He moved to this neighborhood two years ago because it is a budding arts community, and is a relatively close commute to school. He is surprised by how the violence in the community is impacting him.

He was recently driving home from school in the early evening, and stopped at a convenience store for milk. When someone asked him for spare change, and he declined, the person began yelling at him and became aggressive.

Nothing like this had ever happened to him in the community before, and he finds himself always on the lookout for this individual.

4.Fred is a seventh-grade teacher at the local middle school. While he does not live in the community, he has been really concerned about the impact recent violence in the community is having on his students. He has never reached out to a social service organization for help before, but feels that the stories of community violence his students are sharing with him are impacting him at school and at home.

5.Michael is the owner of a drug store that has been in his family and in this community for 40 years. For the first time ever, he has installed security cameras because of a marked increase in shoplifting at his store. On his intake form he stated that he is “really angry and stressed out about what’s going on in the community.” He is even considering keeping a hand gun at the store to protect himself and his employees.

6.Beth is a local EMT. Over the last two months she has been called to provide medical attention to over 30 individuals who have overdosed on opioids. This has been an exponential increase in these types of calls. Beth has a teenage son who she is concerned might be using illicit drugs. She’s not sure if this is really based in reality, as she now knows how much more easily accessible illegal drugs are in the community. She’s concerned about her son, and “has no idea how to talk to him about what worries her.”

5. How will members be oriented to the group?

6. What will the general pattern of meetings be?

7. Are there agency or organizational policies that will aff• ect the group’s development?

8. What key people need to be contacted for approval, ad• vice, support, and so forth?

9. Describe the process that will be• used to evaluate the group.

Part 2
The fourth session begins. You notice that some members are hardly saying anything, although they have been actively engaged in previous meetings. One member is wiping tears from her eyes.

You are preparing for the fourth session of the group and are contemplating the following:

1. How would you use sessional tuning in? What would you say?

2. How would you use sessional contracting? What would you say?

3. Beth begins talking about how she was part of the EMT group that responded to the shooting and then falls silent.

Write two ways that you could encourage Beth to elaborate on what she has experienced.

4. A few minutes later, Mary tearfully describes how she and her children left the park less than an hour before the shooting. She says, “That could have been me and my babies. I’m terrified.”

What are three things that you could say or do to facilitate conversation and support among the participants? Please include at least one open-ended question.

5. What do you think you would be feeling at this point?

6. What do you think you would be thinking at this point?

7. You are finding that you are feeling overwhelmed by the conversation and by the incident that occurred last night. What would you say or do at this point to continue to be effective as a group leader?

Holmes Corporation manufactures electronic components for use in many consumer products. Their raw materials are purchased literally from all over the world. Depending on the country involved, purchase terms vary widely. Some suppliers, for example, require full prepayment, while others are content to receive payment within six months of receipt of the goods. Because of this situation, Holmes never closes its books until at least ten days after month end. In this way, it can sort out ownership of goods in transit, and document which goods were received by month end, and which were not. Manya Andre, a new accountant, was asked to record about $70,000 in inventory as having been received before month end. She argued that the shipping documents clearly showed that the goods were actually received on the 8th of the current month. Her boss, busy with month-end reports, curtly tells Ann to check the shipping terms. She did so, and found the notation “FOB shipper’s dock” on the document. She hadn’t seen that particular notation before, but she reasoned that if the selling company considered it shipped when it reached their dock, Holmes should consider it received when it reached Holmes’s dock. She did not record the purchase until after month end.  To receive full credit, answer both:

Why are accountants concerned with the timing in the recording of purchases?

Was there a violation of ethical standards here? Explain.

Focus
Overview
Gender schema theory (Bem, 1981) frames gender as a product of the assumptions and expectations that are established and transmitted within a culture. Similarly, social role theory (Eagly, 2012) suggests that social role stereotypes emerge from socially constructed assumptions and expectations. Through your learning, you have come to understand that the gender and social norms that create a framework for acceptable behavior within groups and communities have a specific value: providing society with a sense of structure and predictability. Yet, despite their societal and cultural purpose, gender and social norms have had a constraining influence on the promotion of justice and equality for all people. This milestone assignment allows you to gain deeper insight into the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusivity, which you will apply throughout the completion of Project Two.

To complete this milestone, you will critically analyze the ways in which gender schema theory and social role theory have shaped our sociocultural definitions of gender and social roles.

TOPIC: Creating Lall Lists and a Customer Base Portfolio 2 involves writing essays on approved topics – see Appendix C. If you desire to write on a topic not on the list, you must seek approval on tha essay help

If you desire to write on a topic not on the list, you must seek approval on that topic before submitting it for evaluation.
In these essays, experience is related to the chosen learning principle. The experiential essays must follow the rubric evaluation sections, which are listed below. The experiential essays should be at least 500 words (2 pages), formatted as described at the beginning of the syllabus.
Essay Guidelines
1.      Define the Learning Venue
When and where did the experience occur? How much time was involved? What was your role or position? Who else was involved? This background information will provide you with a concrete reference point which will help you place your essay in perspective. This section should be at least two to three complete sentences
2.      State and describe the Learning Principle
The Learning Principle is the core learning which aligns with the chosen topic for the essay. To write an effective essay, you may first want to read and study various sources – conduct primary/secondary research through books, magazines, films, recordings, interviews, etc. This will refresh your memory and bring forth the details of a specific learning experience and the theory behind the principle. Articulate the Learning Principle in at least one paragraph, preferably two, with a minimum of three complete sentences, which describes the core principle as it specifically relates to what you learned. Include a statement about the principle which differentiates it from a subject about which you have a surface knowledge, to why it should be considered college-level learning. For example, you may have a surface understanding of the importance of time management, but for this to be considered as college-level learning, explain what you learned, identifying sub-points and related aspects which exhibit deeper understanding of the learning principle.
3. Application of Principle Outside of Venue of Experience
Describe your competence in the subject area, that is, the level of knowledge or ability that enables you to perform effectively. Practice writing competence statements that reflect your personal learning experience and relate to the course description:
I learned how to develop and use active listening habits. (Skill)
I learned to identify barriers to effective communications in the workplace and how to overcome them. (Knowledge)
The more precise you can be in identifying your competencies and learning outcomes, the more easily your experience can be assessed for credit. To say that you “learned to communicate” is a broad generalization; to say that you “learned that you cannot make assumptions about whether everyone understands what you are saying” or that “nonverbal symbols can communicate as loudly as the spoken word” are more precise, acceptable statements.
Your specificity also enables evaluators to determine your level of competence. There are many levels of competence related to the knowledge and skills acquired in a subject area.
Remember how important it is to balance theory and applied learning. Ideally, your essay will interweave the two. For example, if you are writing about motivation, you might discuss the major theories of motivation – Herzberg’s Motivation-Maintenance Model, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, or Vroom’s Expectancy Theory – as they relate to what you have learned as a supervisor.
How does your experiential learning compare and contrast with accepted theory in that subject area? What problems did you identify related to motivating employees? Use examples from your own experiences to illustrate your knowledge and understanding of theoretical concepts.
This section should be at least four paragraphs of approximately five sentences each.
4. Conclusion
Summarize the previous three sections in at least two paragraphs of approximately five sentences each. Add a paragraph which integrates your learning regarding this principle with Christian worldview and lifestyle practices. The conclusion must contain clear reference to how a Christian worldview intersects with the learning and its application in the broader context. For example, a course in time management could include a statement such as this in the conclusion.
“Learning how to more effectively manage my time has made me more effective across all aspects of my life. It has also made me aware of the reality that we all have the same amount of time each day, as well as a limited amount of time while on this earth. Because of this I am more conscious of the importance of valuing the people in my life and being a better example to them of Christ’s love in everything I do.”

This is the case study below I attached all the instruction information files. Case Study The Nurse Manager of cheap essay help: cheap essay help

This is the case study below I attached all the instruction information files.
Case Study
The Nurse Manager of a 40-bed Newborn Nursery unit attended the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) national conference. One of the conference sessions introduced the buccal administration of glucose gel as a means to treat neonatal hypoglycemia. The glucose gel treatment had been shown to decrease transfers to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for intravenous glucose. It also decreased the need for formula supplements to normalize blood sugar levels, leading to improved success with breastfeeding. The Nurse Manager was very excited to implement this practice change in the Newborn Nursery unit. A decrease in transfers to NICU would improve patient satisfaction as mothers would not be separated from their babies. The lower cost of nursery care compared to care in the NICU would create a financial benefit for the hospital. By reducing formula use, the glucose gel initiative fit right in with previous projects the Newborn Nursery had successfully completed to promote exclusive breastfeeding. The Nurse Manager thought the introduction of glucose gel would be a win all around.

Resources were tight because of a high census and staff vacations. In addition, two nurses were out on prolonged medical leaves. Several staff nurses were already working on a project to address employee engagement scores, which were declining from their previously high levels. All of the nurses were scheduled for multiple educational sessions about upcoming changes to the electronic medical record system. Because of these competing priorities, the Nurse Manager began to work through the details of the glucose gel project alone. She sought approval from the Medical Director for the practice change and partnered with the pharmacy to create a protocol for specific dosing instructions. The Nurse Manager developed a policy and discussed the project details with the unit leadership team. When it was time to implement the change, the Manager presented the policy and instructions to the staff. The buccal administration of glucose gel was demonstrated through a train-the-trainer approach managed by the unit educator. The project got off to a rocky start, with many texts flying back and forth between the nurses and the unit leadership team. The nurses complained about their unfamiliarity of the buccal administration of the gel, despite the education provided. They questioned the dosage amounts and the safety of administering the glucose product to a newborn. The administration of glucose gel caused additional work for the nurses, who said that they would rather the babies were just transferred to the NICU instead. As the project continued, individual interpretations of the protocol caused confusion, and some nurses only gave the gel if they had time. Many complaints were brought to a staff meeting held the second week of the project. Although the glucose gel project was eventually fully implemented, it continued to be a topic of discussion at subsequent staff meetings, and the overall project was perceived as a negative change that just made more work for the nurses.

Discussion Questions
What facts in this case show resistance to change?
How had the staff in this case previously dealt with change?
What factors may be influencing the unit’s readiness for change?
What could have been done differently to engage the staff in the practice change?
What could the Nurse Manager have done differently to prepare the staff for change?

Create a SWOT analysis for the below marketing plan: Walmart is one of the largest companies in the United scholarship essay help

Create a SWOT analysis for the below marketing plan:

Walmart is one of the largest companies in the United States. They have low prices that are competitive in nature with all of the surrounding stores. Higher customer satisfaction leads to more business, more business leads to more money, more money Walmart can then invest back into its stores. A huge company asset Walmart would gain from is more efficient self- checkout machines. Everyday Walmart loses at least 100’s of dollars from products being stolen. Walmart could have it’s own UPC reader/bar code on each item/product that’s automatically scanned as soon as it’s passed over the scanner. If this bar code is not scanned then the alarms will sound when the customer is leaving. This could be Walmart’s very own “sustainable competitive advantage” If Walmart were able to gain thousands of dollars more a year in profits with this new system and their already everyday low prices they would be one the most successful and high profiting businesses in the United States. This new system also offers several more advantages that include, allowing guests to efficiently check themselves out while shopping, in an effort to keep the crowdedness around check-out lines at a minimum-to none. This system will allow a much more efficient shopping experience for Walmart shoppers and will eliminate wage costs as Walmart will be needing fewer employees working the check-out lines. Shoplifting will not be an issue because the UPC readers will detect any unpaid items when they cross the door line and an alarm will sound.

requires you to apply the components of interpersonal communication (chapters 1- 6) a level english language essay help

Video: “The Princess and the Frog”
Link of the book:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vK5wxzGp8H6aKfRXOC-NjGt8qN_n5C1F/view?usp=sharing

You should have an introduction paragraph (describing the overview of the video), five
body paragraphs (meaning five examples to support your thesis), and a conclusion. A paragraph
is 5-8 sentences. Please see the format below.

FORMAT
Introduction:
Start with an attention getter/hook. You will begin by introducing the video. Then include a
purpose statement or thesis that explains the analysis that includes the terms you are using in
your analysis. Then you will include a transition sentence that leads into your analysis.

Body
You will include 5 body paragraphs, each with an example of communication in the video that
relates to interpersonal communication. Please highlight, bold, or italicize the concepts. You
must include examples when evaluating the event. I want to know what happened specifically.
You will describe what the concept means, what you saw in the movie that displayed this
concept, then relate this to your life.
For example (Coco):
“The Rivera family’s rich culture is the strongest part of Miguel’s character. Miguel disclosed to
the mariachi that he was a musician, but had never told his family, because they do not like
music. This relates to the concept collectivism. Collectivism is when culturally, people come
together and work for the greater good within the community. Originally, Miguel did not want
to disclose his desire to become a musician with his family, because he was worried about
disrupting the family culture. This shows that Miguel and his family are collectivistic. My family
is also collectivistic. When I chose to go to college, it had a lot to do with my family’s
expectations of me, and my role within my family. Collectivism can relate to context.”

Please include transition statements between paragraphs (the last sentence is an example of a
transition statement).

Conclusion
Finally, the paper should end with a brief conclusion paragraph (with a recap) including what
you learned about interpersonal communication by watching this video.

Type a 2-page thoughtful analysis. Papers must 12-point font, Times New Roman/Arial/Verdana
(something readable), double spaced, and 1-inch margins (including 0.0” Before and After). I
will not accept papers through e-mail. Papers must be carefully edited for grammatical errors.

12 Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; 14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation has been in vain and your faith has been in vain. 15 We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified of God that he raised Christ—whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. 17 If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have died in Christ have perished. 19 If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died.[b]

Similar to the STAR Reflection Reports, the Personal Application Paper provides the opportunity to apply key concepts, theories and college admissions essay help

Similar to the STAR Reflection Reports, the Personal Application Paper provides the opportunity to apply key concepts, theories and models from the course to your personal experiences.

The objectives of this assignment are to:

Demonstrate your ability to select and describe relevant theory and concepts.
Demonstrate your ability to use theory and concepts in analyzing and understanding real situations.
Demonstrate your ability to write clearly, concisely, and without grammatical errors.
For this assignment, you will select one experience robust and complex enough to support application of five different models/concepts. You will select five different models and concepts from Units 1-7, making sure to include content from at least four different units. Presentation and application of these models/concepts will occur within a four-part structure defined by Kolb’s Learning Modes.

Select an experience that relates to the assigned course topics. It should be an experience that you would like to understand better (e.g., there was something about it that you do not totally understand, that intrigues you, that made you realize that you lacked certain managerial skills, or that was problematic or significant for you).
If possible, keep the incident work-related, but it does not have to be. An incident in any setting (sports teams, family, school, club, etc.) that relates to the course topics is acceptable. Just be aware that not all concepts will apply as effectively outside of the work context.
No additional sources are required other than assigned course materials.
Follow Kolb’s Learning Modes (see below for details), creating a labeled section for each:
Concrete Experience
In this section, briefly describe what happened in the experience your paper is focused on. The descriiption should include not only the events, but also your perceptions, thoughts, and feelings during the experience that are relevant to your discussion. This section should be as concise as possible while capturing the important points from your perspective.

Reflective Observation
In this section, the key task is to step back and consider the experience from points of view other than your own. The main skill to work on is perspective taking, or what some people call “re-framing”. For example, how might other important participants have viewed and experienced the situation? What might a neutral (“objective”) observer have seen and heard? Look beneath the surface and discuss why the people involved may have behaved as they did. Successful reflective observation requires that you set aside your personal experience and perception in order to consider others’ experiences (e.g., perspectives, motivations, and interpretations).

Abstract Conceptualization
By relating assigned readings and lectures to what you experienced, you are demonstrating your ability to understand conceptually abstract material through your experiences. This process will help you refine your models of people and organizations. In reviewing the assigned course materials, you have identified at least 5 specific pieces of theory (models and concepts) that provide useful insight when analyzing your experience. First, accurately name and briefly define the concept or theory as you would for someone who was not familiar with it. Next, apply the concept thoroughly to your experience. The tie-in should include the specific details of how the theory relates to and provides insight into your experiences. Does the experience support or refute the theory? How does the theory help you understand the experience? Links and transitions across models/concepts are useful but not required. Each theory, though, must provide unique and specific insight into the dynamics of this experience. Utilize the feedback you have received based on your STAR Reports to guide your theory application.

Active Experimentation
This section of the paper summarizes the practical lessons you have learned and the action steps you will take to make you more effective in the future, e.g., If you were to relive this experience, what would you do differently? Based on the insight you’ve gained about yourself and others, how would you handle a similar situation in the future? What management lessons have you learned? This section should be concise and focused on lessons derived from the insight and perspective you gained in your Abstract Conceptualization – grounded in theory and generalizable to other situations.
The paper should be well-written in accordance with the standards outlined in the rubric below, which will require you to be clear, concise, and focused in your writing and story-telling.

There are numerous types of stereotypes that are based on sex, gender, race, age, ethnicity, and more. Stereotypes are assumptions that a group of people tends to believe, similar to the idea that software developers are bad at socialization. An example of human resources stereotypes is that human resources are the undercover police for the organization; they only care about policies and procedures; their main job is to discipline and fire employees. Some stereotypes place the human resource as a simple administrative job that processes the new hire paperwork.
The adverse impact is often used conversely with “disparate impact” such as female employee was evaluated according to different criteria than the male employee. This stereotype is based on sex. (Bennett-Alexander
