Write about organ donation Writing an organ donation essay or giving an organ donation persuasive speech is critical for making personal life choices and making a change in the world. There are different ways to narrow the topic and choose one clear focus for your essay. However, no matter what focus you choose, you will have to inform yourself on key aspects shaping the narrative around organ donation: How high the need in organs is; What the legislature is and how the organs are allocated; What ways to decrease the shortage of organs for transplantation have been suggested; What organ trafficking issues exist (even though it may be a separate topic, the statistics and horrifying instances of organ trafficking prove that something has to be done with the shortage of organs in wealthy countries, and a donation system plays a large role here).

What Are Payroll Outsourcing Services? essay help online: essay help online

If you run a small business, you’ve probably considered payroll outsourcing services. The process requires attention to detail and a great deal of time. Outsourcing your payroll allows you to focus on other business priorities. Outsourcing can also give you more time for other tasks.

For instance, you can focus on running your business. Instead of processing hundreds of employee paychecks each week, you can spend that time on other tasks. Outsourcing your payroll allows you to spend that time with your employees.

When choosing a payroll outsourcing provider, consider your budget, current infrastructure, and resources. Ensure that you select a company with a long history of success. Then, look for a provider that will take the time to explain their services and their value to your business.

For example, if you have employees scattered all over the world, you may want to choose a company that can process payroll for your employees in all countries. For international payroll, you may wish to become an Employer of Record, which means they will assume all the obligations and liabilities of an employer.

When choosing a payroll outsourcing provider.
You should consider all aspects of the service, from the technology to security and accuracy. Outsourcing payroll services is not the same as hiring a full-service firm, and you should evaluate your current payroll resources and infrastructure before making a final decision.

Make sure you find a firm with a proven track record and secure financials. Before selecting a payroll outsourcing service provider, you should ask questions about their security and software. You should also ask about the fees for additional volume. You should also get references from former clients, who can help you assess the quality of their service.

One of the most exciting experiences in my life was traveling to Uruguay in South America in June of 2005, through the end of August. I stayed with a family of four mama, papa, Guillermo, and baby. They had an older sister, Michelle she was already married and living with her husband. Papa was a T.V. and radio announcer. The schools were closed at that time, so the young people spent every day walking around the city and talking about everything we could think of life, relationships, the future, and religion. One of the most interesting features in the city was el Cerro, which means “the hill.” It was the only real hill in Montevideo at the top we had an amazing view of the city. I brought the following in a picnic for the trip tortillas, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. Someday I hope to take my own family on a trip like this one.
Example: We landed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for three reasons the weather was bad, the crew had the flu, and the fuel was getting low it was an exciting trip.

The University of Ghana in Legon, Ghana, was established in 1948 as an affiliate college of the University of London called University College of the Gold Coast. In 1961 the university was reorganized argumentative essay help: argumentative essay help

In 1961 the university was reorganized by an act of Parliament into what it is today: the independent, degree-granting University of Ghana (http://www.ug.edu.gh/).
The Balme Library is the main library in the University of Ghana library system. Situated on the main Legon campus, it coordinates a large number of libraries attached to the university’s various schools, institutes, faculties, departments, and halls of residence, most of which are autonomous. The library was started as the College Library in 1948 and was then situated in Achimota College, about 8 kilometers from the present Legon campus. In 1959 the College Library moved into its brand-new buildings at the Legon campus and was named after the University College of the Gold Coast’s first principal, David Mowbrary Balme.
As in the case of many other modern university libraries worldwide that face resources challenges and the need to serve an increasingly diverse customer base, the Balme Library has implemented numerous initiatives. One such initiative is a performance management system. However, several of the components of the performance management process at the Balme Library are in need of improvement. First, there is no evidence that a systematic job analysis was conducted for any of the jobs at the library. Second, the forms that the employees are rated on contain vague items such as “general behavior.” The forms include no specific definition of what “general behavior” is or examples explaining to employees (or managers) what would lead to a high or a low rating in this category. In addition, all library employees are rated on the same form, regardless of their job responsibilities. Third, there is no evidence that managers have worked with employees in setting mutually agreed-upon goals. Fourth, there is no formal or informal discussion of results and needed follow-up steps after the subordinates and managers complete their form. Not surprisingly, an employee survey revealed that more than 60% of the employees have never discussed their performance with their managers. Finally, employees are often rated by different people. For example, sometimes the head of the library rates an employee, even though he may not be in direct contact with that employee.
Based on the above description, please discuss the following questions in the blog/discussion threads, ensuring that you are succinctly articulating your thoughts and responses. You are also encouraged to solicit responses from your peers and provide critical responses or concurrences to their viewpoints.
Identify one component in the performance management process at the Balme Library that has not been implemented effectively (there are several; choose only one and discuss; you are encouraged to provide thoughtful dialogue to the component discussed by your peers).
Describe how the poor implementation of the specific component you have chosen has a negative impact on the flow of the performance management process as a whole. Students are encouraged to agree of disagree with the responses of their peers and provide supporting rationale.

Exam Content A school resource officer is a specialist who understands the different laws and procedures governing juveniles. Imagine you are a school resource officer who has been tasked with evaluating Philip’s case as described below. You will create a report based on this case to share with the school authorities and the police department to build awareness on the underlying causes for juvenile delinquent behavior and highlight the challenges faced by the police in handling juveniles. Scenario: Philip grew up in a tough, lower-socioeconomic neighborhood that was characterized by several cultures and high mobility. He never felt close to his parents, and he did not perform well in school. He valued such things as his fighting ability and his ability to con people. When he was 10 years old, he began to associate with delinquent peers who taught him how to steal cars and burglarize houses. He received rewards from his peers for his behavior and did not feel guilty for his delinquent acts. Instead, he would say that the people he stole from were wealthy enough to afford to replace the items, and most had insurance anyway. Philip has been arrested for a house burglary. He shows no sign of remorse for what he has done and is being disrespectful to the police officers. His parents are not cooperating with the police and the intake officer refuses to take Philip in, as there is a space crunch in the holding facility. The police let Philip go after giving him a warning. This is Philip’s first time in the juvenile justice system. Research juvenile causation theories and the problems faced by the police in handling juveniles. Write a 700- to 1,050-word report to the school authorities and the police department. Address the following in your paper: Which social theories can be used to explain Philip’s behavior, and which social theory is most applicable here? How is the deterrence theory applicable in this situation? Explain. Describe the best way in which the police should process Philip’s case. Is this crime a status offense or a delinquent act? Based on the type of crime, how should the police respond? Which discretionary options can be used by the police in this scenario? How should the police officer convey the seriousness of the charges to Philip? What alternative steps or placements can a police officer try when a juvenile is not taken in by the intake officer? What intervention programs could help Philip deal with his delinquent behavior? Submit your report. Resources

The prompt:

On July 5, 1852, former slave Frederick Douglass delivered a speech entitled “The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro” at an event hosted by the Ladies Anti-Slavery Society of Rochester, New York, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Using your annotated copy of Douglass’s speech, write an essay in which you analyze the rhetorical strategies Frederick Douglass uses to achieve his purpose. Support your analysis wth specific references to the text.

The essay’s organization:

Introduction reflecting TAG, exigence, and thesis. Remember, “exigence” is the part of a rhetorical situation that inspires, stimulates, provokes, or prompts writers to create a text.

Three body paragraphs — each identified by a topic sentence. Pull textual evidence from the speech to support your assertion followed by insightful analysis of the Douglass’s purpose and impact on the audience members. Each body paragraph should have at least three properly embedded quotes for a minimum of nine quotes for the entire essay.

Conclusion should suggest greater understanding of Douglass’s speech and its historical implications — the broader perspective revealing a universal understanding. Do not merely rehash earlier material. Instead, address the gained knowledge revealed in the literary analysis

The rules:

Typewritten in Times New Roman in either 12 to 14 pitch font;

MLA formatted structure and citation (to be covered in class prior to the due date);

Title reflecting the chosen rhetorical aspect;

Proofread to avoid typographical errors, misspellings, awkward phrasing and nonsensical statements;

Use complete sentences with proper punctuation (avoid fragmented and/or comma splices);

Do NOT use first or second person pronoun references such as “I” “me” “my” “you” or “your” etc;

Body paragraphs with topic sentence which presents the paragraphs’ argument, not statements of fact or summary;

Evidence properly integrated into commentary; and

No plagiarism, period. This analysis will be uploaded to Turnitin.com for authentication purposes. Analysis that is presented as student’s intellectual property but is instead plagiarized will result in a CH in the gradebook.

Utilizing statistical regression and time series analysis models, you will be able to evaluate and analyze how multiple variables impact an organization. You will also be able to create forecasts and interpret data to analyze performance as it impacts strategic planning and comparative advantage for an organization.

Manipulating data to create models helps us describe and summarize relationships between variables. Understanding how variables relate to each other helps businesses predict performance and make informed strategic plans. For example, to make an informed recommendation to management regarding which types of office buildings to acquire or sell, you would model the relationship between assessed value and given variables.

This reflection gives you an opportunity to develop, evaluate, and apply bivariate and multivariate linear regression models, and then reflect on office buildings you recommend acquiring and selling, and why.

apply three cognitive biases/errors to your life experiences for demonstrating your understanding how and why errors occur in your social thinking. best essay help

Goal: To apply three cognitive biases/errors to your life experiences for demonstrating your understanding how and why errors occur in your social thinking. Background. Throughout this module, we have identified several dozen cognitive biases or “thinking errors”. Simply stated, a cognitive bias is a thinking error that originates in the simplification of information. These biases often come from distorted thinking when interpreting and remembering experiences – often in the service of self-esteem. These biases arise from errors of memory, attention, processing, and/or need for self or group esteem. Many of these biases occur in a mindless, implicit way. That is, we are not aware that we are thinking, feeling, and behaving with cognitive bias when we are doing it. Thus, it is very difficult to recognize and change our biases in the moment. Instructions Choose one of the biases you learned about in this module (a) identify it by name (b) describe the bias using your own words (c) explain how or why this bias represents an error or bias (d) show how the bias has affected your thinking, perception, judgment, and/or decisions using concrete examples from your life (e.g., experiences such as your interactions with friends, family, and or partners (e) describe how you can correct for the bias in the future. Here is a list of the biases discussed in this module: confirmation bias hindsight bias hot cold empathy gap spotlight effect illusion of transparency optimal distinctiveness the planning fallacy impact bias affective forecasting immune neglect implicit bias self-serving bias group serving bias unrealistic optimism overconfidence false consensus, false uniqueness bias blind spot moral credentialing Dunning-kruger effect knowing-doing gap

scenario below and answer the questions that follow. Use appropriate grammar and sentence structure in your initial post. Your initial post should be 400 words or more. essay help free

SCENARIO As an Assistant Human Resource Manager at Bloomingdale’s you are responsible for ensuring that the organization is acting in compliance with the legislation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The organization must practice this law during the recruitment and selection process, interview process, and maintain integrity during performance appraisals and promotions. Over the years you have noticed changes in the items that you sale, but not in your employees. The average age of your employees are between the ages of 40-65, but the only age group being promoted is 25-35. While monitoring the sales floor you noticed that younger clients are not being attended to by older workers and often leave the store without a purchase. One afternoon you over hear some of the employees complaining about how things have changed and how the new and hip trends may be damaging the corporation’s brand. From your perspective, you know the new changes are revitalizing the company’s image and increasing profits. The older employees are also fearful they may loose their job to a younger employee. Questions: 1) Besides the possibility of age discrimination, what other issues are outlined in the scenario? 2) Describe how you would handle or correct this situation to create a win-win for everyone. 3) If this situation continues what laws are at risk of being violated? 4) How does disparate impact and disparate treatment play a role in this scenario?

READ ALL OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Please create 5 Instructional (Behavioral) Objectives (IO) in the Cognitive Domain. Each IO college admissions essay help

READ ALL OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!

Please create 5 Instructional (Behavioral) Objectives (IO) in the Cognitive Domain.

Each IO must be written at different grade level (Kindergarten through grade 12) and different content area (subject) as follows:

1 Objective for Math
1 Objective for Science
1 Objective for English Language Arts
1 Objective for Social Science (Core Subject: History/Civics/Government/Economics)
1 Objective for an elective (Music/Art/Debate/Technology/World Language)
After you have developed your 4-part Instructional Objective in the mandatory format (Who – Condition – Behavioral/Performance Verb – Criteria), find a Florida Standard that aligns* with your objective. Copy and paste the Alpha-numeric label and the wording of the benchmark of the standard directly below your objectives.

The wording of your Instructional Objectives does not have to match the wording of the FL Standard (Links to an external site.) — they only need to be related to each other. In most cases an Instructional Objective is a subset or part of the topic that is covered by the Standard.

You must develop your objectives following the mandatory 4-part format, in ONE, Single sentence. Be sure to complete the textbook reading and watch the presentation in this module for instructions before you attempt this assignment. Use all the materials available to you — the key to success on this and subsequent Teaching Practicum Assignments is following the directions exactly as they are stated. The format for the IO is non-negotiable.

The concept of effective IOs is the essential fundamental concept of this course! If you do not master this skill, it becomes very difficult to be successful in this course!

At first, most teachers are challenged in the development of Instructional Objectives (IOs) that are reasonable in terms of the criteria (level/quality of student performance). Your criteria should correspond with the skill level of your students, as well as the complexity of the content being taught in the lesson. In addition, the criteria must align with the nature of the task or the behavior. If a student is going to read the hour on an analog clock for the first time, a reasonable measure (the criteria is indicated by the bold-faced portion of the IO) might be:

The student, after an explanation on reading the whole hour on an analog clock, will correctly read the hour on an analog clock at least one out of two times for each of 10 rounds.

This means that after the explanation, the teacher will present the student with an image that has the faces of two clocks. Each clock will depict a whole hour, such as 8 o’clock or 2 o’clock. For each set of clocks shown, the student will read at least one of the whole hours correctly. The student will have 10 pairs of clocks to read.

Please see the attachment for more examples of Instructional (Behavioral) Objectives in the cognitive domain. Please take note of the criteria in each case as well as the Florida Standard that aligns with each objective. Please be sure to indicate the alpha-numeric code and the verbiage of each of your standards as demonstrated in the attached file of sample instructional/behavioral objectives.

1) Discuss the propriety of showing:

a. Treasury stock as an asset.

b. “Gain” or “loss” on sale of treasury stock as additions to or deductions from income.

c. Dividends received on treasury stock as income.

2)  Why is the distinction between paid-in capital and retained earnings important?

Answer–

The Paid-in Capital is the value of the shares issued by the company, at par value. Common stock is owned by shareholders with voting rights. Preferred stock sold also generate Paid-in Capital for a company, but preferred stock doesn’t give the owner voting rights. If a company issues additional stock, it generates Additional Paid-in Capital.  Owners of stock receive dividend payments out of the company’s earning, if the board of directors chooses to declare dividends. This number can only be positive.

Retained Earnings are earnings that remain in the business for re-investment, or are paid out to owners as dividends (in case of corporations). RE is used to track a company’s income over time. This number can be negative or positive.

Paid-in capital shows how much owner’s capital is invested in the business. Retained Earnings are earnings generated by the business. I see the importance in the fact that Paid-in Capital is the provision of capital to a business at start-up. Each shareholder has his stakes in the business, and will receive dividends based on shares held. Retained Earnings get booked each year and generate dividends. These numbers cannot be mixed up, because they would complicate shareholders’ EPS (earnings per share)

Instructions
A privately owned island off the coast of Florida has been left to you by the eccentric owner who recently died. The island is large enough for several small communities to be developed. Create a name for your island. You want to start on the right foot by establishing a local government, a judicial system, law enforcement system, and other services typically provided by local and state governments. When setting up a local government, please limit your selection to those styles found in the United States, and avoid dictator, monarchy, or communist systems.For the Unit VII Project, describe the following points:
the type of local government you would establish (e.g., county, city);
the form of that government (e.g., township, municipal charter);
the management system (e.g., commission, mayor, council);
how leadership positions would be instated (e.g., appointment, election);
the type of law enforcement and judicial system (how judges are selected) you would put into place; and
other services typically provided for by local and state governments. Be sure to explain the role of bureaucracies in these services, including how taxes support these services and how those taxes will be collected.
You can mix and match your government, judicial, and law enforcement decisions, but you must fully explain the reasons why you chose the types of systems. You must also address how your government would work with other governments/agencies and in what ways. You can pull concepts from previous readings in this course (not just those assigned in this unit) in order to develop this project.The video tutorial Library Research: An Overview will help you research various aspects of this project.Your project must be at least three full pages in length, not counting the title page and references page. Remember to have an introduction and conclusion to your paper. Library and outside sources are a requirement, and you must use at least three resources to support ideas in your analysis. Avoid conversational tone, and remember that this is an academic assignment, so you must use proper APA Style, grammar, and punctuation.
2. RE: Unit 7 COLLAPSE
What is most disheartening when you look at the tax systems we have, is that, for all of the problems it has as is, it is the product of many rational choices with the lesser of two evils. The we actually have many other deplorable options that could have happened, and were diverted by the glimpse of sanity we get every once in a while.
Federal revenue leans on income taxes. As much as I can get on the philosophical justification of a “fair tax” system, it doesn’t not cover the inherent problem that we want the benefits of a well funded military, national infrastructure, and the bragging rights of being ahead of the technological rat-race and the boost we give companies like Apple. So, the problems of earning potential cannot be solved by reducing, or eliminating federal income tax without giving up federal level project that ultimately, most people do not want to do without. State revenue also relies heavily on income taxes, but this does split the difference with sales tax. States also incorporate vehicle taxes, which is where each state has a unique body of legislation for the license plate. Commonwealth states also require annual inspections for a vehicle as part of the registration. I have somehow managed to get an ad valorum tax every time I’ve moved to a different state. It’s not like I bough the vehicle again! Municpal and county goverments have even more creative liberties because they are always unique to the community. My own opinion is that county governments should not be collecting property taxes, and that this should be an exclusive right of a city government. Now, given that I live in an unincorporated area, if this wish came true, it would seem great having to pay no property taxes, but again, as much as I may complain that the sheriff’s deputies don’t patrol around here enough, if the county isn’t collecting taxes, they would be patrolling out here at all.
So, it comes full circle. We can complain about it all we want to, but I have every reason to believe the taxes system we have is pretty much lodged into stalemate.

 This is an exercise that requires that you think and write concisely. You will need to research this assignment on the internet, your research will be required for multiple assignments. Proofread the writing for any errors before the submission. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your research, as well as your writing.
Assume your uncle runs a small family business, with between 20  to 30 employees. You help him package the products, and sell them on the internet.
You need to document the core processes of your business, Marketing, Selling, Producing, and Supply Chain. You will do this at a high level for the whole business, and then at a more detailed level for just the parts of the business that you are in charge of, Internet marketing, selling, packaging and shipping specifically for just the internet side of the business.
Remember that a process description should be one sentence, and it must include the subject, the verb (in the present tense), and the object. An example might be, The shipping analyst identifies the lowest cost approach to ship products to the customer. Use a similar format to fig 1-1 from Monk and Wagner as a table in your Word document, but be careful of the way the book words business processes, it is very sloppy! For example, Transportation and Logistics is two nouns, so we know the area responsible, but we don’t know what they do, and we don’t know what they do it to, or for whom they do it.  Planning and Budgeting are in fact two gerunds, which are verbs that are acting as nouns, so again we are clueless in just the same way as the first example.
You should have two tables, one for the high level business processes (similar to what is shown in the example), and a second similar table for the lower level business processes for your own area of control.
In the example in the book, there are Four Functional Areas of Operation. You should choose four or five that make sense for how your business is structured, but they should NOT include Finance or HR as you are only documenting core processes. You should plan on having  5 our 6 rows in the first table, and probably about 10 – 12 in the second table; not all columns will have every row filled out, but across both tables I would expect to see you document 50 processes. The columns may be different in the second table, you may not be responsible for anything in one of the columns in the first table, lets say it is manufacturing, but in the second table you may choose to break Supply Chain Management  into Material Management and Transportation Management.
A few words about verbs, avoid weak verbs like manage, analyze, review etc.. If you say The shipping analyst manages transportation, you really don’t know what they do, so try to find more expressive words that convey the business sense of what is being done.
And finally for the fun part, what is your uncle’s business that you are going to research. You can choose from a Furniture Manufacturer or a Packaged Foods business, there is plenty of material available on the internet to explain how these businesses function. Take a look at your table before you hand it in, do the processes sound generic, and could they apply to any business , or are they specific and really tell you how a furniture or packaged foods company works? I would expect to see references to; machining and assembly, painting/staining, upholstering, inventory etc.: similarly with packaged foods; canning, freezing, sanitation, recipe management, etc.. And remember, you are not covering Finance or HR processes.
